I am Australian and purchased cosmetics from this company. I paid for the cosmetics using credit card and received an email stating my order had been accepted. A couple of days later I received an email from the company stating that my credit card had been charged with the amount for the items but, as I was an overseas buyer, they would not dispatch the items unless I sent them a copy of my credit card statement showing that it was me that purchased the item. I contacted my credit card provider about this and was told that under no circumstances was I to send them this information as this is a way that bank accounts can be compromised. I relayed this information to the company and they basically said that they cannot dispatch without this information and so my order was cancelled and I must wait a month for the amount to be reversed on my credit card. It should be noted that when I purchased the items there was nothing on their website to suggest this would be the procedure for overseas orders and also I am acting under the direct advise of my credit card provider. I feel they have broken their contract to sell me these items with no good reason to or right to.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Prices are great! Shipping was fast! I will not go anywhere else for my makeup...EVER!
Buymebeauty.com has a great reputation and is even a google trusted store. Their customer service are real humans in their distribution center. They will even go to the warehouse & look at an item while you are on the phone with them. Why not just give them a call [protected].? They have a money back guarantee. I've done it. No issue at all!
Regarding overseas credit cards they are very careful not to ship if there is any question. Of course they will refund you fully.
I have found the products I've ordered to be satisfactory, no problems. But, the price of the makeup I want has doubled. I used to pay $3.99 at Buy Me Beauty now it's $7.99. Where i used to buy 6, I now buy less. What happened?
I just purchased 3 Maybelline lipsticks, I was so happy to find them as they are discontinued. The package arrived quickly but the lipsticks are so hard I can't use them! Very difficult to get on my lips and immediately adhered to my front teeth and took lots of scrubbing to get off, yuck! Will never order from them again, no quality control?
HI, I have ordered from Buymebeauty without any problems. You simply can't beat the prices on drugstore brand cosmetics ANYWHERE! Everything came nicely packed, I got prompt emails and when I called to place the order there was a very nice girl to help me. I feel bad that the previous customers had problems. I know that most companies don't even sell outside the US, maybe this is why. Seems like their security is TOO tight for this person, but I think that's a good thing.

Buymebeauty is a great company. They have been in business since 2002. They have the best security protection for customers on the internet. They are actually doing us a favor by canceling orders that look fraudulent. If they can't verify an order outside the U.S. they contact the customer. If they don't get a response within a few days they refund the credit card & cancel the order. Just in case someone stole your credit card they want to protect us. Credit Cards originating in the United States are verified automatically and they ship out hundreds of orders each day. No worries on this site! SHOP!
I've been shopping with BuyMeBeauty since 2010 and I've never had a problem with them. My card information has never been compromised, I've always gotten my items quickly and in great condition, and the customer service has always been wonderful to me. I've placed upwards of 15 orders on their site, for a number of different items across an array of brands and they've never let me down. I'm sorry to hear you had a negative experience, but I have no reason to believe that they are anything but a blessing to the women who are looking for their favorite makeup!
THIS COMPANY IS A HUGE RIPOFF! I HAVE ORDERED FROM THEM BEFORE AND EVERY TIME I ENTER MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. WITHIN 2-3 DAY MY CARD HOLDER FRAUD PROTECTION COMPANY HAS CALLED ME AND SAID MY CARD HAS BEEN COMPROMISED. I WENT THROUGH THIS WITH THEM OVER A YEAR AGO AND BLAH BLAH THEY SAID EVERYTHING HAS BEEN UPDATED IN THEIR SECURE SECURITY ON THEIR WEBSITE SO THAT GOT ME AND I ORDERED AGAIN AND AGAIN MY CARD WAS COMPROMISED. HAD TO GO TO THE BANK CANCEL THE CARD, WAIT, BE REISSUED A NEW CARD, WAIT MORE, FILE PAPERWORK AGAINST THE OVER 20 CHARGES THEY TRIED TO USE ON MY CARD. WAIT MORE, SIGN MORE PAPERWORK GET NEW CC SPENT OVER AN HOUR AT THE BANK INSTEAD OF WORKING. NOW I MUST WAIT FOR THE ITEMS TO POST TO MY ACCT AND THEN THEY WILL REFUND THEM. MAJOR SCAMMERS!DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM IT WILL HAPPEN TO YOU ALSO. IT MUST BE A HACKED WEBSITE OR THE PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE ARE NOT VERY HONEST. COMPLETE BS. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. LESSON LEARNED THE HARD WAY.
