Budget Nationwide Transmission

On December 28, I visited Budget Nationwide Transmission, Inc. located on *** to address an issue with my truck's engine. I left my vehicle overnight for inspection. The following day, Budget contacted me and informed me that the problem was a blown head gasket. They quoted me a price of around $1,700 and offered a 30-day warranty. However, I made the decision to purchase a new engine instead, which cost me $4,651.16 and came with a 30,000-mile warranty as promised by Kathy H during our conversation.

Before the engine replacement, my truck's original engine provided a fuel efficiency of 24 to 26 miles per gallon, which was quite satisfactory considering my 20-gallon tank. Unfortunately, the engine they installed in my truck was not the same type, and it only manages about 14 miles per gallon on the highway. I made an upfront payment of $3,000.00 and settled the remaining balance of $1,651.16 once the work was completed.
