This is the 2nd smoke alarm I bought in the last few yrs that went faulty. Even with new batteries these things give off a split second (BEEP) every two to fifteen minutes. Just a short beep. enough to annoy you. I've cleaned the sensor wit inst air and checked for cold solder joints, Nothing. I threw the last one out. This one is dated: [ 2016 APR 12 ].
