Bright Heating Battery for solar energy storage

Purchased 3.5Kw battery from Bright March 2020, contacted firm in Nov 2020 to say battery not working technician came out and said battery had not been connected to the fuse box and had no charge and took it away to recharge. After a couple of attempts to fit the battery everything went quiet the battery was taken away and all attempts to contact the company failed. My Husband and I drove to the Company's base in Lochgelly to confront the Manager and try to get some answers in late summer 2021 can't remember exact date. Manager was not there but phoned Husband on his mobile. He and two members of staff came to our house two days later with a battery saying he couldn't do anything because there were no batteries being shipped into the country because of the pandemic. On looking at the battery that had been left I noted that the battery was only 2.4Kw and we had actually purchased a 3.5Kw, but all attempts to contact the firm again have failed.

Desired outcome: I would like a replacement 3.5Kw battery or a refund of its value

Bright Heating Company is a Joke!

I have had nothing but trouble with this company. the customer Service is absolutely appauling and as you say - the radiators are nothing less than like £1000 per radiator.

They have really messed me about, originally, they never contacted me with a date of installation, ( I had paid nealry £700 deposit) everytime I called and left a message, they never ever ever got back to me, then after several calls and emails later I finally get a very rude phone call. When the two guys arrived, they were very un professional, doing a rush job and not taking time at all to answer any of my questions.

Then that evening, my hall redaiator 'blew up' and gave an almighty bang. i called them immediately, they didnt even aplogise. They were very very rude.

Then I could not take another day off work, so I got my friend to wait in all day and gave Bright Heating her number. I left for work at 9 am. i got a call just after that saying that Bright Heating had been at my door at 8.30 am and have gone back down to North Yorkshire, (bearing in mind I live in the Highlands of Scotland - 10 hour drive for them). I could not beleive it, they said they were at my front door at 08.30, I was in my front garden talking to neighbout at that exact time as she was moving house that day. Also they claim they called my friends phone and there was no answer. My friend had no missed calls on her phone and was up getting her kids ready for school. So they basically lied through their teeth. I have not them yet and now I dont have any heater in my hall. I am very angry about this.

When I told them I am not paying for the broken heater, Adam, the guy on the phone just threatened me with bailiffs. Again still no apology. H ethen said 'your other two heaters are working, so you cant be that cold'. How dare he measure whether I am cold or hot. in fact because my hall heater is not working, the heat is not been circulated adequately, he was plain rude and non caring.

Eventually I got to a manager, who apologises in a avery un sympathetic way. He was like 'how much do you owe us'? I was like, well do you not think you should know that considering you are the company here...

He tried to flog me off with a tiny bit of a bigger heater, but there was no way I wanted to deal with these cowboys again, and either take a day off or get my friend to wait in all day... again...

So I said that I will pay for two other heaters that are working, and go without one in my hall, which is obviously not ideal. However, the other two heaters are still costing me nearly £2000. I would not be surprised if this company goes bank rupt and our guaruntee would be void anyway.

Still not paid them and dont know what to do. Please help thanks
