Brewers Air Conditioning & Heating

My thermostat is set at 80 and the house is showing the temp at 83, which is why I called Brewers Air Conditioning & Heating to come out in the first place. I paid $99.00 and nothing has changed. I was given a quote of over $1,000 to do a leak check and add coolant. The AC unit is 14 years old so it is foolish of me to spend that much money when I will probably replace it in January. It would have been nice if the technician could have just added the Rd310 (or whatever it is called now). I won't call Brewers Air Conditioning & Heating again. $99.00 and my AC is still not cooling my house. I'm retired and can't afford to flush money down the toilet. I gave you 2 stars because the technician was very nice.

We recently moved into our new home on *** Pl. Our inspection report came back with some issues for the air conditioning and heating units. Brewers Air Conditioning & Heating was hired on 8/5/2022 to complete service and address issues as stated on the inspection report. Brewers also said they would transfer the warranty to us. We moved into the home on 8/18. The downstairs unit has not been cooling the home. Now the upstairs is attempting to do its job and running non-stop. I called Brewers for emergency service last night 8/22 and was told that someone would return my call within 30 minutes. At that point our air conditioning unit was at 87 degrees F and it was 5:49pm. I called again at 7:05pm as no one had reached out to me. Left a message with the customer service representative. I got a call back and the man told us there were several things wrong with the unit and they did not fix anything at the time of service/ inspection. Our realtor states the homeowner at the time got it repaired and there was no receipt given to them by Brewers. We were sent an inspection report from Brewers that showed zero issues with the units even though the technician I spoke to last night told us there were several issues and they did not repair any of them. It is almost 11am on 8/23. I called again this morning and the technician has told us that he will have to charge us out of pocket, he can't get here until 7am tomorrow and that he cannot transfer the warranty. Also, there is not a warranty for the downstairs unit. We are being lied to. We just bought this home for $760,000 and I just want what is promised to my family and that is an efficient air conditioning unit.

Not happy at all! I just spent over $10,000 for the purchase and install of a new A/C unit. After the installation took place, I noticed a crack in my bedroom wall directly behind the A/C unit that was not there before. Brewer's sent a technician out to take pictures and I was told I would hear back from the manager later that day - didn't happen. I didn't hear from Brewer's the next day either, so I contacted them again and was transferred to Mark who I believe is a Manager, but a poor one at that. He proceeded to tell me that it's a "settling crack"! Really?! It wasn't there before, and it's directly behind the A/C unit exactly halfway up the wall! If Brewer's isn't going to make this right by repairing the crack in the wall, then they can refund my money and remove their unit. There are too many other companies out there that would be happy to get my business. Very dissatisfied with Brewers!
