Bourne Leisure review: Recent holiday at warner hotel alvaston hall

My holiday reference number [protected]. Booking for 2 at Warners Alvaston Hall Hotel 4th to 8th September Room 547 Signature room. The Fairways. This 4 days were some of the very hottest we have had.

Very upset over this break which cost us over £1000. Room was not over clean. waiter service when male members were on duty not good. However this is the key issue.

During our first night the air con unit failed. We both awoke in the middle of the night feeling as if in a sauna. Had to fully open balcony door which sadly made little difference. Reported issue to reception next day, Complaint was received with almost indifference with comment that Engineer had been sent for. No alternatives offered. Tuesday ,Wednesday and Thursday nights followed in same pattern .Almost sweltering overnight heat and great discomfort and sleep loss for us both. To add insult to injury our neighbour in room 545 had same problem and had been given a fan.

Frankly we felt happy to return home today . The 4 days felt like a prison sentence, certainly not the pleasant relaxing break that Warners {promise}. Our money has been wasted . The Heat situation was so bad that my wife has "[censored]ly heat "rash on both lower legs. "Photos taken"

We are being courteous in contacting you rather than going on survey networks. As we feel at the moment Warner Hotels do not appear in future plans.
