I purchased a vehicle from a towing company called Bob's Tow Service located at 1112 Beach Street, Vallejo, Ca. 94590 in May 2007. Less than one month later my vehicle was stolen on the 6th of June. A police report was made. It was not until June 15, 2007 when I receive a letter from a tow company "Aussie Tow" that I was notified my vehicle was not stolen but actually towed. The letter stated my vehicle was empounded by the police department and was subject to lien. I received no prior notice besides this letter as well as no conincide records from the police department indicating what happened to my vehicle.

When I went to the Police Department inquiring of why and how this could have happened, they apologized first off, then stated the vehicle was towed because of registration. When I showed them the registration form which showed my vehicle tags were not expired, they ran the copy and said it was a fraud! (This registration was issued by Bob's Tow Service to me!) They again apologized for not contacting me regarding the vehicle.

When I contacted Bob's Tow Service on June 16, 2007, regarding the false documentation they stated "I brought the car as is". I contacted the police department.
