When I first went to my life as a new donor, I was in awe. Until they put me on their table stuck my arm and began blood samples for maybe six viles I'm guessing to test my blood for whatever, np. Then, hooking that same line to the machine to begin extracting plasma except I don't know what you call it but I clot very quickly. Despite being an athletic person daily. I prepare my body via healthy meals high in protein and low or now fatty foods along with additional fluids as per the centers page on how to prepare before donating as well as the day of and post donation routine. So my 1st time in the chair after drawing a bunch of blood for their testing they hook me in then the usual call for the bruiser who sticks sorry reposition the needle all the way up in my arm to no avail then switch to my almost no veins in it left arm and gets nothing. So I get the ceremonial I failed wrapped up bandage on both arms along with free babysitting by the some sorta nurse with warm juice and cookies. Next visit same ending minus the blood collection just straight pen and call for the bruiser. Deep vein therapy the stick the weaker arm then tell me it's not my fault then pay and release. Next visit while opening questionnaire the screen blinks all red saying see mgt. After wondering around I find management. Some tall dork name Trent and he's ordering me to follow him back to the lions den asking for a vein check. Not my problem I stated to him. He replies I want you hemo globin anti clotting factor something which I ask is he a vampire cause he was pale dresses in all black w/hair all slicked back. After, no grin to m u obviously funny pun. I pay him on the arm and said jk. Then I got serious and listen to him put me down like I've failed something and tells me if I fail to donate one more time he's gonna defer me for 6mos. I did some research on my issue and saw that it wasn't my fault. I passed thru vitals check and they had ample opportunity to get their work done and failed due to the sticker who didn't begin the draw correctly ending up in the machine not able to extract plasma. He says nothing and scowled as he just walks away. No goodbye or thank you for your service. Fricken rude and belittling in front of everyone. Passed me off actually. So true to his word aftet my next visit I return for another spot after 6 bucks a gallon driving a cross town to the same clinicic cause they have all the vacancies go figure and try to open questionnaire record locked I figured I must of done something and tried again. Until I realized something was wrong. Spoke to one member of management who opened my name but wrong last 4 stating I donated the previous day. I said nope. She found the real me and was puzzles then getting another member of mgmt who said I was deferred until March 2023. I said they couldn't notify me before my preparation and long drive across town and not even compensate me for my efforts. No! So I collected names and serial numbers cause thats all they would say. I video tape the conversation before I left to spread the word that bio life is bio crap. Go someplace else because management not the employees sucks and are rude not to just me but I saw them in action dissing other donors without a care in the world. Like they're the ones doing you a favor by allowing you to come despite us meeting their strict requirements. Trent watch your back ahole.
Desired outcome: Nothing yet. I'm going to complain all the way up the chain and if anyone ask share my story recommending not to go to bio hazard because they don't care.
