I have been faithfully donating at the Isbell center for about 5 years now, completing 300 or more donations. The only serious issue I seem to consistently run into is the 6 month protein test. The first two tests that were ever conducted came back inconclusive, meaning it was the labs faulty equipment, which meant I had to wait a week to retake the test, and yet another seven to ten days for the results. The other times were apparently my fault, which one has no option but to take accountability for. Today I found out I was unable to complete my second donation of the week due to the fact the results were not in. I was depending on the donation, due to the fact that it was my larger payment day, and also because I am in a rough patch in my life financially, not to mention living wise. I admit, I was upset with the receptionist at the Isbell center, but said nothing harmful to her whatsoever. She hung up on me, and when I called back to speak with a supervisor, she hung up once more. I found that to be completely unprofessional, her name was Diane. Along with her, I've noticed increasingly that the "veteran" technicians, or the ones who have been there longer anyway, have become more and more nasty in nature. Im on the fence about even returning at all for future donations.
