BioLife Plasma Services review: Being permanently deferred

Well I had went to biolife today 04/19/2022 to donate. I was considered a new donor and went in for my physical when they pulled my social in the system it said deferred. I had no idea of what that ment. They took me in to one of the medical rooms and said that in 2009 I was put in as a permanently deferred donor. They said all they could see was for medical reasons and would get back to me in a week. I was told back in that year that I couldn't donate for a year because of my tattoo that I had gotten on my birthday July 24th of that year. I wasn't able to donate because of that reason. ?
