BioLife Plasma Services Rude staff, have to wait after making appointment,have to wait on funds

Rockville rd indianapolis location you all should be ashamed of yourselves taking advantage off people who have no voice or rights. Totally unacceptable and i will be making complaints daily until something changes. Local news will be notified also. So i get it, its busy, but that doesn't mean your rude staff has to be rude a treat you badly, even after situation we were talking about was your guys fault. And now we have to wait on funds to hit our account and your saying up to 24 hours?!? totally unacceptable once again. Now im sitting in my car with a round device thats going to notify me when my time is ready yet i made an appointment on your app. So is your app not working correctly? or is it just nonsense and your guys joke on the unfortunate people who come to you and which by the way, if it wasn't for us you would be donating plasma for 20 lousy dollars a pop also. Karma really really likes me and when im played a fool or not treated as i treat others, well all of your days working here are numbered shortly now and wish it on every one of you ten fold. Good luck and making the call to channel 6 news now

For the first time I'm going to make a complaint about my last donation, Brigette missed not only my vein but 4 other donors; a co-worker of hers came in replacing the needle. Unfortunately I have my 2 arms bruised and sore, I lost a Opportunity to donation this week.

BioLife Plasma Services Balance on debit

Hello, my is Frank Giarratano. I made a recent donation at the DeKalb center in Illinois today(3/5/22) and received $115. I spent $27 even on a shirt an hour later, and two hours later it says my balance is at $58.10. $115-27 should equal $88.

Now I know that something wasn’t pending because I had a 0 balance for over a week, then I received the $115.

I believe there something is definitely not right here. I just want to know what my options are. Maybe I could get reimbursed or receive a different debit card or something. Please contact me as soon as you can. You can reach me at my email or directly [protected].

BioLife Plasma Services Donation time

Makes no sense to have a hour and half wait in your car then come in and get screened just to sit in a chair for another 1&1/2 additional hours before even donating. Getting out of hand. Not worth it at all anymore

My appointment today at 8:45am at the Grand Rapids Center was NOT successful. I was able to check in with the fingerprint scan and filled out my questionnaire but at the end the scanner wouldn't read my fingerprint. Customer service at Arlington location is terrible. Not very attentive to Customer needs. Non-qualified personal doing the check-in and such. I highly recommend going to plasma center right up the road to Arlington road. There is a roses supermarket in the same retail center. Please do not go to biolife if you value your time and want professionals to attend to your needs.

BioLife Plasma Services Customer Service and unprofessionalism

Your technician Alison is very rude and unprofessional, She inserted me without her tools , after poking me she had to wait and ask other coworkers to bring her the tools and attitude was unpleasant and rude.This place run by us donor's and if the atmosphere is not welcoming I rather go to a place where they appreciate my donation.There are plenty of centers for donation BioLife is not the only one.

Unwelcoming donor center is not what I am looking for , customer service should be your first priority other things comes late.Center should be focused on professionalism to every client..

Waste of time. "Mia" was not understanding nor listening when explaining my medical history. The questionnaire is confusing. She said I was not honest and banned me. I am extremely upset with the company, I am waiting to hear back from the manager "Kyle". All my doctors told me that I am healthy so I do not understand why I was rejected. I am willing to resolve this only if I hear back from the manager "Kyle."

BioLife Plasma Services Deferred

First of all, most of the staff seem annoyed to be there dealing with the valued donors. You kind of feel as if you are there to bother them and take their money. They complain to each other in front of everyone as they are working which means as they are putting the needle in or taking it out, etc. rude. This I ignore because I know good help is hard to find and I want to help and I want to earn money.

I started taking a medicine last year and when I went to donate, the nurse told me I could not donate because of the medicine. She said if I get off the medicine to wait at least 30 days before coming back. The medicine didn’t pan out so I got off of it in December and scheduled a donation yesterday which was well over 30 days. I continue getting emails from BioLife including a survey on why I haven’t been back. When I went in the app to schedule it said I needed to also get my annual physical. I made the appointment for 5:00 pm. They check me in and tell me to go wait in the waiting area and they will call me. After an hour they finally call me. I go up to the counter where I am asked a few questions. I’m told I need to bring something with my address on it next time then she walked away for like 5 minutes. So when she came back she asked if I found anything with my address. I had something with my husband’s name and address but she said bring something with my name next time. I asked if they could look in my file at last time she said they needed it if it’s been over 6 months since donating. Ok fine. So then she says to follow her to get a vein check. Ok so that’s all good. Then she leads me to the area to wait for the nurse but tells me when I am done to go out and wait under the clock where she showed me. She doesn’t give me anything. No card. Other people have cards but I still am doing as I’m told. I wait and wait and wait. Now I’ve been there 2 and a half hours and have yet to see a nurse as they call everyone else back. So then a nurse asks me what I’m waiting on. I said I need a physical. She said I’m not in the system as waiting but takes me to her office. She says she is going to have me come back another day since it’s now 7:30 pm. I said and go through all of this again? She said did you do your questions? I said no. No one said to do questions. I said I was told to wait for the nurse. She says well let me pull you up in the system and see why. So then I find out I am deferred and cannot donate again because I took this medicine for 3 months. Seriously? I have been there 2 and a half hours and no one EVER told me this. I continued getting emails to come back and was allowed to make an appointment on the app. I am very upset. They have my phone number. Why no call? They have my address. Why no letter? They allow me in the app to make appointments. Why? They know I need to talk to nurse. Why make me wait 2 and a half hours to be told I can’t donate ever again? Why didn’t the first nurse tell me last year when I told them instead of saying 30 days.

Desired outcome: I would like a response and to donate again if possible. Since they have all of these issues, I don’t have faith they even deferred me for a correct reason.

BioLife Plasma Services Not holding their end of the deal

Today was my 6th donation, on a coupon to earn 500 in 6 visits. $20,$100,$20,$100,$20, $240. Instead of $249 I got $100. They said the coupon was not entered, so I don’t get the $240 today-just another $100. Was told nothing they could do, coupon was not entered. Even tho every single time I came in the previous 5 times and was asked if I had any new coupons - I responded with I am currently under one and no one ever said anything to me about not being on one. That’s the only reason I ever come back is the coupons. I will never come back and make sure I can tell as many people as I can. I will sit out front starting Monday to tell every single person that enters this place that they can not be trusted and don’t hold up to what they say.

Desired outcome: Instead of the $100 I received today it should have been $240. According to the coupon I presented 5 visits ago. Today was the 6th.

Heaven from the donation center contacted me and was able to resolve the issue. She was very pleasant to deal with and am glad to say I’ll be back.

BioLife Plasma Services Denied because of where we live

My husband and I found out about plasma donation to help save lives. We were completely on board for this. Well... The place closest to us is in Jacksonville, Florida. We live in Georgia, about 50 minutes away. They told us we couldn't donate because we were out of their zone... Yet someone who lives in the same county goes there to donate. We called the Savannah one because it's the next closest, but we were denied because of the zone as well. My husband asked what that was about, and the man told him, "it's because they keep track of their competitors. Wow! The website said to call if you're out of the zone. Just... Wow. We tried to save a life or two.

Desired outcome: We were completely denied and the lady on the phone for nasty.

BioLife Plasma Services Physical appointment

Came in on February 16th at 10:30am for a physical and donation. My heart rate was too high so I was deferred a day. Spoke to a manager who had a sling on her arm and was told by her to come back on the 17th to do my physical and donation. Nothing at all was said to me about having to make a new appointment. I came back on the 17th to do my physical and donation and was then told I needed to make an appointment. I asked to speak to the manager who I spoke with on the 16th and was told she was on break. So I said I’d wait for her to be done. The manager I was speaking with refused to let me speak to the manager I spoke with on the 16th. Which tells me I was lied to on the 16th. All I’m doing is trying to help people and I get lied to! So I left the place because they refused to answer my question of ““why was I told to come back today and would be taken care and now I’m not?”

Desired outcome: Want an appointment by the 20th or I want to be paid the $700 from the coupon that expires on February 20th.

Permanently deferred from donating plasma at BioLife after coming in 1 day early to donate on 2/13/22. I was flagged in the computer system as the 2nd time this happened, but both instances were honest mistakes- Wasn't trying to cheat the system, could've just told me to come back the next day. Despite referring others to BioLife... Devalued donor.

BioLife Plasma Services Didn't receive correct financial compensation

I donated 6 times in January 2022 in Deptford NJ. The total payment was supposed to be $600, I only received $360, my 6th payment was supposed to $240 only received $20. The 1st time I called I left a voice message, never received a return call. The 2nd time I called spoke to an employee, was told that I had to speak to a supervisor. I left my name and #, never received a return call.

The 3rd time I called was put on hold for over 20 minutes, I was at work and couldn't hold on any longer. I kept up my part of the deal by donating plasma, BioLife should do the same by way of giving me the total compensation.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate it if I could receive my $240 that is owed to me. I should be compensated the monies that were advertised.

I've been coming to Biolife for a while and even though the people working there are friendly, they are completely understaffed. Should never take 2 and a half hours to donate. Only 2 people doing the screening, 2 people sticking and like 1 person taking people off the machines. That's for 3 different areas too. Waiting 30 minutes to get screened and then...

BioLife Plasma Services Wanted my tshirt turned inside out

Came in to make a donation, one of the employees came up and asked me to take my tshirt off or turn inside out!

It was a white tshirt that said biden sucks, kamala swallows

I said no it’s freedom of speech! If you don’t like it don’t look!

Howie the employee went and got manager and she stated we’re a private business and our right to remove you or turn inside out or we give you other shirt

I told her the same thing, if you don’t like it, don’t look! I said [censored] this and I’m leaving
