I got a phone in January and I had till 4 15 2015 to pay it off well my card got compromised in between that time so I called them up with a good card number and did that twice make sure that they got the card number right and then I noticed 3 weeks after that they didn't pull out any payments so now I'm getting charged $675 for the phone because it wasn't paid off by 4/15/2015

I financed a phone thru billfloat smartpay's program at metro pcs. I went in the store to do the transaction. The set me up for 6 payments, with the first being that day, january 3, 2013. The other 5 payments would be due the 1 of the month afterwards. Today, january 5, 2013, I discovered they went into my account and charged me 2 more initial payments. You cant get ahold of them on the phone, I wonder why? And emails, that aint happening and I read at other boards if they do respond, you still get the run around. They are a scam and makes me wonder why metro pcs does business with them..

I told smart pay BEFORE I RECEIVED the phone I ONLY want the phone for wifi purposes. They went ahead and took out money from the bank to pay for a months service anyway! I plainly told them and I can NOT get ahold of them no matter what number I call for them. I just get an automated system and a bunch of piano music playing. I AM NOT HAPPY.
I went into Metropcs to make a cellphone payment and the sales person saw me looking at iPhones. I’m 61 yrs old and not into buying expensive phone trends. She said I could get one thru finance co and asked for my social security number. I was told CONGRADULATIONS I have 1100.00 credit. So I got the cheapest iPhone 11 listed at 499.00 or 250.00 if new customer, I’m old customer so 499.00 plus they now charge all these fees to activate ECT. Well I’ve made 6 payments at 106.00 MTh I figured Kim paid off right? No I owe 8 more payments! 860.00 pay off balance after paying over 600 for a 499.00 phone is crazy. I’ve never recieved paperwork , I asked what interest was that day and metro kept telling me oh call smart pay. So I’m disappointed in metro and smart pay is banking of low income or poor credit people. Only in America
My name is Brandon and I purchased a iphone 11 from a forest park tmobile/metro location in Forest park, IL 9/15/2022. Paid $130 cash and $50 card upfront. Total purchase price was $430 and I have already paid that but they have me scheduled for 5 more $50 payments. I never signed on for this, they also put someone elses phone as the primary number on my account so I was unable to log into smartpay until Jan 19, 2023. Neither the metro location or smartpay will fix this issue and yes they are taking advantage of everyone I now see! I am contacting a law firm as I signed no contract and was decieved by an agent who provided no info on terms, or paperwork, they also listed a false phone number for my account, this is highly illegal.
So I ordered a phone, received the wrong phone, sent the incorrect phone back (also had to pay for shipping because no return label was sent) and can't even get a refund. They also charged me the first month's payment after knowing I sent the phone back. Been almost 2 months now and still no refund. Absolutely DO NOT use this company for ANYTHING
Found two transactions in my checking account to smartpay. I have no account, never even heard of them till I checked my account. Talked to someone and they said I have to give them the last four digits of my debit card. I said I already turned in my old one and got a replacement to stop further fraud. they stated they can do nothing without my debit card number (old). Banks will dispute the last one of 2 payments. Then small claims plus cost to them. Plan on subpoenaing their CEO or local leadership. If no one shows it is an automatic win plus cost.
They do run credit checks actually they run 3 small reporting agencies that are owned by the big 3 credit reporting agencies.
Same information as the 3 big data brokers.
There is more reporting agencies than the big 3. Just to let you know.
my wife and i placed orders for new phones they took the money and we never recieved the phones and now i am asking no demanding a refund and all i am getting is a run around they keep saying that they are waiting on trac phone they are refusing to give us a refund on this
I applied and was processed for a phone through smartly lease and the walmart didnt have the phone so the cancelled transaction. Smartpay lease didnt and have been charged ne for the initial payment and every payment since for tge phone and 45$ phone card. Ive talked to the walmart and says its on you guys but will look into it
i went to a store here near my house, girl ask me for some info gave her my info and she said i was decline for smart pay. after some many years doing upgrades with smart. id call smart pay and they don't know why either one week almost pass and id call again smart pay and gave me the same answer again they don't why

I got the s21 FE 5G and Paysmart is charging $158 for 14 months that's ridiculously over priced. They did tell me how long the lease was for. I. Returning the phone it's not worth over 2000 dollars
2 years ago SmartPay leasing was double charging me and I returned my phone and equipment and did not hear anything until 5 days ago and it was from a collection agency stating that I owe SmartPay more than $400.
