Scammers, who would tarle for 5 days without luggage
I am writing to share my negative encounter with BESTTICKETFARE Travel to alert potential customers. The company's methods appear to be dishonest. Following my ticket purchase, I was called to discuss the cancellation policy, and notably, the prohibition on carrying luggage was not disclosed until that point. When I asked to cancel my reservation, I was told it was non-refundable. This experience has led me to conclude that BESTTICKETFARE is a scam. I recommend that others be cautious and avoid repeating my mistake. 🤔🙁

Where are our airline tickets?
Three months after purchasing airline tickets from BestAirfares.com, we still have NOT received our tickets. Best Airfares reps say United Airlines confirmed they have tickets reserved for us. Yet, when I called United Airlines, they didn't have any pending flights in our names.
Since last December, Best Airfares customer service has told me to call the following week, promising that the tickets will be issued by then. When I called back, half the time they tried to talk me into booking a more expensive ticket. We are now within 9 days of our scheduled travel date but we still don't have the tickets that we purchased from them over 3 months ago.
This week I was told to wait for the elusive "Steve" who is the only person there capable of helping me get the promised tickets. First I was told to call again in 2.5 hours because he wasn't there yet. Then call back in another 2.5 hours. Then I was told he would call me within the next 24 hours. When he didn't call me, I called their office again after 24 hours. A male rep then told me Steve would call me in 20 minutes. When he didn't call, I called the rep again. A male rep then told me Steve would call me in 5 minutes. After 10 minutes, I called them again. Then I waited several minutes on hold to speak with Steve. When he answered, Steve promised we would receive the electronic tickets within the next 24 hours. He also said that our tickets were a "last-minute deal" that can't be issued until last minute. As I told Steve, the advertised price didn't say that and nobody had ever told me that I wouldn't get the tickets until just before our travel date. Instead, customer service at Best Airfares has kept me calling back since last December.
Color me skeptical. I have heard similar promises from Best Airfares several times before. Now I would be surprised if they manage to deliver the promised tickets to us at all, much less in the next 24 hours as promised. I cannot imagine a scenario that would cause us to buy tickets from BestAirfares.com ever again.
Recommendation: Save yourself the aggravation, spend your money elsewhere
Addendum: This company tried to get $1400/person more out of us, one week before travel. "Steve" blamed us for buying the lowest-priced tickets. I told him that United Airlines was still selling tickets for the flight for just over $1000/per person. He then tried to sell us on the price of $1000 per person, stating that we could use the credit of $480 for the flights that United canceled, that was good for future travel.
I demanded that they honor their original contracted price. He said they tried and tried but could not get tickets for the price. I then said they needed to refund my money immediately because there was no way I'd give those crooks another penny. He kept arguing and talking over me.
I then called my credit card company to dispute the charges.
Avoid Best Airfares at all costs!!!
FRAUD! Terrible experience with them. I purchased 2 Jet Blue tickets with them and also purchased the protection plan for a booking refund if for any reason our trip had to be cancelled. I received an email after booking the flight to contact them as the transaction was still pending and I needed to confirm with my reservation number. Called them and was told the flight is no longer available for that price and that they had to cancel my purchase but would be charging me for the protection plan fee of $141 since I was using that service to change or cancel my tickets. WHAT? They cancelled it (if it even really existed) and are trying to still charge me the money for the protection plan. Why would they have the flights available on their site for purchase if they truly weren't available. All a big scam, absolutely steer clear of them!
I have been waiting for months to receive our airline tickets, for which they say they received confirmation from United Airlines. Every week since December, Best Airfares customer service has told me to call the following week, promising that the tickets will be issued by then. We are scheduled to travel on April 5th.

Correction: I would NEVER buy from them again!
AKA Hot Flight Deals: steer clear
This company also operates under the name Hot Flight Deals (and is overseen by a company that's licensed in the UK as CHEAP FLYING FARES UK LIMITED). At least one of their many US addresses appear to go to a private residence. My experience was much like the other two customers here. I attempted to purchase a ticket with a major airline and was called while waiting for it to confirm to be told that the ticket was no longer available. They then offered me a ticket that was only about a 113.00 more. I wasn't happy about it, but because expediency was important to me, I agreed to it.
This company hijacks the process by having the confirmation sent to them first so the customer doesn't necessarily realize that the extra money they're paying is a large service fee (not common to travel agencies at all) until after the ticket has been confirmed. Other customers have reported that when they told the company that they weren't interested and to cancel the charge, the charge went through anyway and they had difficulty getting the money back — some didn't at all — because the travel agent or someone was able to pocket the money. Some reported that their tickets were canceled at the last minute by someone — not them — and that they couldn't get the money back.
I suspect that the agents in these situations are even more crooked than the company is. The one I dealt with had a heavy Indian accent and was speaking in a room with a lot of background noise so he was hard to understand. He seemed to be extremely anxious so perhaps he was new at the job. So I got the shaft, but perhaps not as badly as many. Because I'm me, I hit the books and learned quite a bit about this company. Among other things, they have an F rating with BBB. And at least one airline has indicated that they will no longer allow this company access to their information.
Look elsewhere for your discount tickets.
Big scam at Bestairfares.com!
I made a reservation on 4/26/2023 with Bestairfares.com and true to form THEY BAITED AND SWITCHED! Claiming they sent me an email saying my booking was not accepted by JetBlue and my new reservation is on AA with a stopover! I promptly cancelled the reservation! A gentlemen from India answered the call claiming that they would accommodate but only on AA. Needless to say the STATUS of Bestairfares.com BEING SCAMMERS STILL HOLDS TRUE!
Recommendation: STEER CLEAR BY ALL MEANS NECESSARY!!!!

Purchased tickets for a trip to ***. Four days prior my trip I checked with them when to expect my e-tickets and was told that my booking was cancelled. I never received a phone call or any email from them in that regard. After over twenty minutes, they finally admitted sending a cancellation notice to some stranger's email. Now that everything is booked and it is too late for me to cancel my entire stay, they rushed me into they offered me to sell me that same initial booking at a "discounted" price, which happened to be twice as much. I ended up finding these same "discounted" tickets for a few hundred dollars cheaper on most travel fares websites. Stay away from this company. They are a total scam!

This business do not post their actual fares on their website. I have bought tickets from them twice and when you call them the story is the same. Those prices are already sold out . I will encourage them to be sincere by posting actual prices so it does not look like a scam. The two star is for not posting the actual airfares on their website. When you call a different higher prices are quoted. All the same sometimes their quotes are slightly lower than the other websites. The other thing is you have to wait for some days before you receive your ticket.

There was a little mixup, because the prices fluctuate so quickly in the airline industry, and "Bestairfares.com" has to update their site manually. I called them, as they said to do in their email. The agent, who was very professional and courteous, quickly straightened out the pricing issue, as the price, which had ballooned before they submitted my request, had inexplicably returned to the former value. Lucky break for me, but it's a reminder that using a site that does not update prices dynamically could have a less fortunate outcome, due to current volatility in pricing.

If you calling them, they are keeping you on line , trying to sell the same for double price or more.Today they advertise flight from *** to LIMA For $296 p/person. When I booked it , the price change to $900 p/person, after calling them back they offer me price $455. They keep me on line, transferring from one person to another for 60 min refusing to cancel this fraud and offering different options like free bag, etc, but keeping price as minimum as $455. The fraud price is still on their web site Do not recommend to anyone ever work with this Company

Within a few hours I received a notice that the flight I selected was no longer available at that rate and an alternate flight was available for $852. I accepted the alternate flight just to be contacted via email again the next day notifying me that the alternate flight was also not available and now they have an alternate for the alternate flight at the same increased rate of $852. I was then notified that I would receive e-tickets within 24hr. I never received the e-tickets. After reviewing the reviews of Bestairfare.com I quickly learned that this is a known scam site that "baits and switches". To avoid charges from the company I had to lock my credit card.

Advertised $421 for an airline and booked it as such. 4 days lapsed and no official ticketing documents provided. When I went to check status, was told no longer available and was told it was over $1,000...but they could offer it for ~$635. To me, this is a bit of bait and switch and is wrong. Opted to try and book elsewhere.
The airfare was not disclosed. It was not confirmed by American Airlines. The representative, whose name was not provided, mentioned that I could file a complaint. American Airlines did not have the booking. They are advertising rates that are not accurate.

This company is a Fraud. I booked a flight and received a confirmation number but did not receive a ticket. I decided to call and find out why I haven't receive a ticket as of yet. Was told ticket was cancelled on their end due to there being no more seats on the plane. Then the representative said he would see what he could do and tried to get me to purchase a ticket for triple the price. I am upset because they cancelled my ticket and did not contact me to let me know, all the while I am sitting here as days go by and get closer to my departure date. I had a fantastic experience with this company and specifically with my reservations agent. I made international flight reservations for my family of four only to realize that I made a mistake with our dates. My agent was able to problem-solve to minimize my out-of-pocket penalties. My ticket prices were much more competitive than the retail prices posted on any of the travel sites with a quality airline and no hidden fees. This company is the real deal.

Also known as Hot Flight Deals( same address but different number. SCAM. Bought 2 airline tickets through them in Dec 2021 for a trip in April. Spoke to Hennry multiple times who charged me more money once and told me that they had my tickets and they would be emailed to me 2 days before departure. 2 days before leaving, I was not listed as a passenger on any flight with the airline and no one at Hot flight Deals would speak to me or return my calls. I never received tickets and have since filed a claim with my credit card. By the way I also had to pay 3 times as much to buy tickets.

However, their actual agent-arranged airfare prices beat the competition by $100-$500 per ticket for me. They advertised $341, but their actual ticket price was $541 with them vs $650 for the cheapest (non-Frontier red-eye) ticket I could find on expedia, *** flights, orbitz, kayak, priceline, hotwire, travelocity, etc. When I looked for the same flight directly on delta.com it was $1000 plus per ticket. I did have to wait for 30 hours between giving them payment information before receiving a confirmed airline ticket by email. All in all, I would use their ticket agent again in a heartbeat.

This is a deceptive scam
This is a deceptive scam. People working by westernizing their names. I booked the ticket and I haven't received an email of confirmation. I called and spoke with customer service who provided terrible customer service. I booked an online ticket for $196/person, when I called he told me that flight is booked. He offered me $560/person with another airline. The issue is, that price is not valid, they check it and then call you and tell you it is not available and then try to sell you the same flights you could get on your own from a legitimate company. Luckily I called them after seeing the deal online and they told me the rate was not available. They then tried to sell me a different rate which I could get on my own from a trusted site. Very deceiving and a waste of time. Please STAY AWAY from this company

I was very worried about purchasing tickets through this site. Whenever a deal looks too good to be true, it usually is. While I was not able to purchase the exact ticket on offer, *** the agent I worked with, was able to get me a similar booking, on a different carrier, but at the same price. It is a major full service airline as well, not a low-cost airline. I was concerned that this would be a scam, especially as it took about a day to get the final confirmation from the airline. However, *** was there every step of the way, following up and contacting me to assure that everything would be fine. I got the confirmations from the airline, and *** did a great job making sure everything was ok. I will definitely use *** again when I need to make reservations! Hghly recommended and shout out to *** for the fantastic service!

I booked a round trip ticket from Indiana to Phoenix on Sunday, September 19. My original price was $285, but that ticket could not be confirmed with American Airlines. I spoke with a representative who I believe *** have been ***, on Tuesday, September 21 about the next priced flight which should have been $485 also with American Airlines but it also could not be confirmed. By this time it was Wednesday, September 22. When I spoke with *** Wednesday afternoon he was able to book a flight for me with Delta for $548. I was concerned when the first flight was not confirmed and also with the second and let down when I realized I would be paying $548 instead of $285 but I know *** was truly trying to get a good price for me so close to my departure. When I spoke to *** today, Sunday, September 26 he was helpful and made sure I understood my E-Ticket and patient in answering all of my questions.

When I booked the flight I was told to expect a confirmation email. Shortly after a guy with a heavy indian accent who claimed to be "Bob" called to say the flight I had selected was not available and he was offering a better fare at much higher price. Meanwhile my wife was looking for online reviews and we realized we had fallen in the hands of a scammer. Trying to get them to cancel the reservation was no easy task, as they initiated a high pressure sales technique, transferred me to another indian guy who insisted I get the tickets he was offering. In short, they cancelled the reservation or at least they claimed to do so. The fact is that they obtained all my credit card information and that made me very nervous. I am monitoring my card activity to see what happens. Beware of this website.

Best Airfares is a bait and switch. This was the worst experience booking a flight. I purchased two flights to Orlando for a total just over $600, and booked the rest of my trip around these two flights. I received a confirmation email from them as well. Later that day I received a call from them saying they changed my flights to a Delta flight and the cost was now over $900. He told me that they couldn't control the fact that I wasn't now able to fly on Jetblue , and that the couldn't keep the price they had quoted/charged me, and that now I had to move me to these flights instead. He then sent me another email, while I was on the phone with him, giving me the new flight info. This email still had me flying on JetBlue, gave me no information about the new Delta flight, and way at the bottom was a new price. This is such a scam, do not book thru them. When looking up this company thru the complaintsboard.com there are tons of complaints with people having the same experience. Do your research before booking thru them.

I booked flights on hotflightdeals website (looks like the same company as bestairfares) and my credit card was charged with a confirmation email from one of their representatives *** and a confirmed charge to my credit card. The tickets were never issued so I called repeatedly and was told a different story each time. Flights canceled, tickets will be issued next week, next month, no record of your booking, please send your confirmation emails, you never paid, etc. I finally got a manager, I think, who promised to call me back when she figured it out. No call back 2 times. She finally agreed to refund my money in 5 days. No refund 3 weeks later. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. I called one last time today and was told the rep who booked my flight was scamming the company and he took my money. I don't believe them. I was told to file a dispute with my credit card company by the person I spoke with today. If this a legit business they do not stand behind their product and support their customers. Use at your own risk.

Despite saving a substantial sum of money, I remain unconvinced. I have the electronic tickets for my family, and my excitement would be greater if the initial quote matched the final price. Unfortunately, it didn't, and it seems to be their practice to offer an enticingly low price only to increase it later. In our case, the difference was about $600, yet it was still much cheaper compared to other services we considered. If not for this, I would have rated them 5 stars. They split the charges into two payments, one for the airline and one for their service fee. The representative was very helpful during our communication. Waiting for the electronic tickets was anxiety-inducing, but they arrived the next day. After verifying our reservation numbers with Delta, we found our bookings confirmed and were even able to select our seats at no extra cost. Overall, they did a good job, and we might use them again for future travel, with the caveat that the initial quote must be the final price, or we won't proceed with the booking.

DO NOT USE THIS SITE. I booked a flight through them online for $216.00 within 30 minutes of booking my flight they called and said that discounted rate was no longer available. They found me on a different flight for $366.00 while on the phone with them I asked them to call the airlines to guarantee me the flight was available. They put me on hold and supposedly confirmed the new flight was available. I receive a call 4 days later from them with the same [censored] that the flight was longer available. Since that flight was not available to me anymore, they said they found me another flight for almost $400.00 but flying out of another airport. Yes, I'm pissed because they guaranteed me the previous flight was available. Well, a little no a lot mad I told them that since they guaranteed me the flight for $366.00, that was the amount I was going to pay. Well after fussing with them I had them send me the third alternate flight (which was guaranteed and checked that price was still available) before agreeing to it in email, I asked them to send me an email guaranteeing me I would have my ticket in the morning. Well, guess what I didn't have the ticket when I woke this morning. I found another ticket with cheap air booked it and while on the phone she sent me the ticket. BOUGHT FOR LESS. Thank Cheap Air.

Unfair, deceptive and fraudulent trade practices
File an AG complaint! Predatory, untruthful company. They charged for 14 tickets and delivered 3 and refuse to refund for the other 11. Then they charged for 1 more ticket, sent confirmation and then cancelled 3 days later (verified with airline) but did not notify. We found out when we wanted to check in. This makes 12 refunds for close to $10K. BTW - they will always blame the airlines which is an outright lie. If you have had a bad experience with this company (or any of its shell company affiliates) - please submit a complaint to the AZ Attorney General (AG). They will only take action if multiple consumers had an issue. One consumer losing $10K isn't enough for them. Simply go to AZ AG website and click "file a consumer complaint"

But, just like everyone else, I got an email saying that the price had gone up to $798 for the same flight. What a total scam! I am so disappointed and frustrated with this company. I would not recommend using them at all. It's just a waste of time and money.
Bait and Switch: My Disappointing Experience with Best Airfares
So, I was looking for some cheap airfares and stumbled upon Best Airfares (bestairfares.com). They advertised a sweet deal of $506 per ticket, which sounded too good to be true. But, I decided to give it a shot and signed up, entering all of my info.
However, my excitement was short-lived as about an hour later, I received an email from them saying that the pricing had changed. And guess what? Now they wanted $875 per ticket! What a total bait and switch! I was so disappointed and felt like I had wasted my time.
I mean, come on, Best Airfares, you can't just advertise one price and then change it later. That's not cool at all. I was really looking forward to booking my tickets with them, but now I don't think I will ever use their services again.

I had a terrible experience with Best Airfares. I was looking for a cheap flight and came across their website. They advertised a really low price for a flight that I wanted to take. I was so excited and quickly booked my ticket. However, after I paid and received my reservation, I noticed that it was still pending. I thought this was strange, but I didn't think too much of it.
A few hours later, I received a call from someone at Best Airfares. They told me that the price had gone up and I needed to pay more if I wanted to keep my reservation. I was shocked and angry. I had already paid for my ticket and now they were trying to scam me out of more money.
I refused to pay the extra amount and asked for a refund. They told me that I couldn't get a refund and that I had to pay the extra amount if I wanted to keep my reservation. I was so frustrated and upset. I felt like I had been tricked and scammed.

I had to call them back myself. They offered to create a new itinerary and I felt pressured to book, because I was out of options, so I caved and booked a new booking with them for almost double the original price. I felt forced into this scenario and felt that they were dishonest by not informing me my original itinerary had been cancelled, so I got back in touch and canceled the secondary booking I received a cancellation email to confirm. They next day, I was billed by Delta airlines for the itinerary I cancelled. I reached back out and they assured me I would be seeing a refund. I have this in writing as well. After almost 1 month, I had yet to receive a refund. I called their customer service number and they informed me that they didn't see the charge. They have been giving me the run around.

I purchased 4 tickets to Honolulu, HI on 9/12 for 12/21-1/3/22. My uncle ended up passing away and I canceled my flight so I can attend his funeral and received a credit for $2,372.60 that could be used up until 9/12/22 on any Delta Airlines flight. Now when trying to book a flight I am told I only have $1,586.60 to be used and the balance on another transaction. This was never previously disclosed.

I never received it then my card was charged but not for the full amount. I visited the websites bestairfares.com and skytravelhub.com to book a round trip ticket from PDX to LAX on April 26, 2022, for a Delta flight. The confirmation email arrived within minutes. However, today I was informed that I would not be receiving my ticket. I have the company's Booking Reference number, but there is no legal warning about the customer paying for and then not receiving the ticket. The only disclaimer is at the bottom of the email, stating 'Prices are subject to change until ticketed', without any indication on the price area that this might be the case. I can provide the email for reference. The company claims to be located in Tucson, AZ, but I have my doubts. After some research, I found the address listed on Zillow. Additionally, their website suggests an affiliation with Complaintsboard.com, which I find questionable.

This website is posting incorrect airline fare charges. They are trying to attract customers to buy airfare from their site by purposely keeping it lower than the market price and not confirming the tickets until last minute. Then either they cancel the ticket last minute or try to sell you an expensive ticket and charge you for cancellation. Also after I booked the ticket they didn't even confirm my ticket. I called them several times to cancel with in 24 hours and kept getting same message that it is cancelled and you will get confirmation but no email about cancellation and cancelling with in 24 hours is free. Also there are lot of other complains which are exactly same from other customers. Also when you call them the customer service rep tells you that the price is incorrect on the website and that price you paid for 3 tickets is actually for 1 ticket. I hadnt heard from the company in about a week to confirm the flight. When I did reach out, they let me know that the flight I originally picked was sold out and I could get another one for $585. The website bestairfares.com runs a scam where they offer flights at very good prices, take your information and credit card info, send you a confirmation email, but do not actually issue you a ticket. This happened to me and reading reviews online it appears they do it to many people. After I received my confirmation, I realized my credit card was not charged. I called the company to ask why my card was not charged and they told me that my order didn't go through and they could get me a new ticket at a much more expensive rate. This issue appears to be common, they'll attract you with a cheaper than normal ticket, but not actually issue it but instead send you a confirmation email (which says your ticket is pending). As the date of your flight approaches you'll realize you didn't get a boarding pass and then when you call to inquire they'll offer you a more expensive ticket saying that your first order didn't go through. This happened to me and has happened to many others judging by reviews online.

After not hearing any update and not receiving my tickets, I emailed them on 6/23. I was told to call them back, at which point I was told that my tickets had not been purchased, and that they would then cost me $586.75 (also for less convenient times of day). They would not agree to the price I had found on their website, and that my order confirmation email listed. Prices for the flight elsewhere had risen in the time between when I placed my order and when I was told that they hadn't actually bought my tickets after I asked about them. I'm not sure if this was just them missing my order for a while, or if they would have intentionally waited longer before telling me to call in order to place a greater time pressure on me that would help get me to buy more expensive tickets. While talking to a Best Airfares representative, I searched their website for the same flight on 6/23 and found listings again showing the $331 price, but was told that those were not actually available, and that I would have to pay the $586.75 price. I eventually agreed to pay the higher price as I didn't want to wait for ticket prices to possibly rise even more. I'd like to be able to get my tickets at the price advertised on their website when I bought them, and also still on their site when I was told that price was no longer available.
