Berghaus0.5l stainless steel flask

some time back I purchased a Berghaus 0.5l Stainless Steel flask. Over the last couple of years the stopper has started to leak and is now unusable. Berghaus promote their Lifetime Product Guarantee but when I contacted them they said the guarantee would be with you, JD Group, as it was made under licience.
I've included the replies from Berghaus in the photos section.
The retailer I purchased the flask off, Millets, no longer operates in Ireland where I live and so I am unable to return to where I bought it.
