We're pretty sure that if Baron Auto Mall showed up wayyyy more often on ComplaintsBoard and paid more attention to reviews and complaints, it would lead to better results. But for now, the resolution rate doesn't show successful interaction with customers. We advise reviewers to be careful when communicating with Baron Auto Mall and be ready for the chance your problem might not get a response. Baron Auto Mall Purchase Price and Loan Approval

On May 22, 2010, my wife and I came into Baron Auto Maxx and spoke to Michelle Scalise to trade in my wife’s 2002 Hyundai Sonata when she spoke to us she stated that the amount that was owned on the loan was too high compared to what they would give us for the trade. We also spoke to Joe the General Manager as to getting approved for the loan with no money down he advised us that they were working on the loan we said ok. After two hours of waiting Michelle stated that they could get me approved for the 2008 Nissan Quest with Chase Auto Finance for $15, 775.00 I said ok. After the contract was signed Joe informed me that Chase will call to verify the information, Joe told me to, “Say Yes “to the questions that the Bank Representative would ask because if I said no than Joe informed me that the Bank would take repossession of the vehicle because the figures would not add up on the contract; and if the Bank asked how much we put down to say $1000.00 Cash” On Tuesday May 25, 2010 a representative from Chase did call me and asked about the options in the vehicle and how much I put down. I did say yes to the questions and also $1000 cash because of the fear of repossession on my credit report and still owing money to the bank after the sale if they reposed the vehicle. I looked over the options that they said the vehicle had and it does not have some of what is listed on the advertisements. There is no remote keyless entry system, power third row vent windows, stereo mounted audio controls, luggage rack side rails. In addition, the finance charge is $14, 995, price of vehicle 20, 000 and $1000 cash which I did not put down; total 35, 995 after all of the payments have been made. My question is how would I get approved when I was currently 3 months behind on my auto loan with a balance of over $25, 000 and also behind on my credit cards? On August 11, 2010 my wife had the phone on speaker and spoke to Michelle and explained that the price that she and Joe quoted was not listed anywhere on the contract which Joe and Michelle stated that it would be and also there is no remote keyless entry system, power third row vent windows, stereo mounted audio controls and luggage rack side rails. When my wife was talking to Michelle, I heard the General Manger Joe in the background and said not to talk to her and he grabbed the phone and was yelling at my wife and said that she was looking for loop holes in order to get out of the contract and informed us to have our attorney call him. All I wanted was to have the options that we paid for under the loan. The original call was to see where the title was because I still do not have it.

Baron Auto Mall baron isnt bad

read a lot of bad things about baron, but I don't know why. They are really nice and have a good selection. I was going to buy a used Maxima from a private seller, but had second thoughts. I went to a few dealerships but none of them had Maxima's in my price range and that was what I wanted. I was told to try baron because they have alot of used cars but after readign reviews I was worried because most were bad. I still went to see ofr myself and I am surprised. They had what I wanted and worked out a deal with me so I could afford the payments. i love my Maxima and I'm glad I went there.

Baron Auto Mall Terrible experience

Bought a used vehicle from Baron Auto Mall. The Baron's did everything in their power to avoid their responsibility in selling a roadsafe vehicle to the consumer. You will never get a straight answer or your vehicle repaired as u required by law. Baron uses stall tactics in order to run the clock on their responsibility time frame. Then if you complain you are wasting time with the sale personal. You need to call the owner who tries to hide that fact that he is the owner of all the Baron Auto Malls, his information is as follows: David Baron [protected] his office is at 1036 Northern Blvd, Roslyn, New York. If you have been given the what for from this persons company. CALL DAVID BARON and tell the dirty rat he can no longer hide the fact that since he owns this company he is responsible for any acts from its employees and you will direct any inquiries to him.

Yesterday My friend which is my roommate went to purchase a truck through Whitney Tx Barrons Auto.Any way he was treated dis respectfully. He was honest with the woman. He has purchased vehicles and paid for them all so Barrons was not the only option that he had. Anyway I do not drive and havnt in years do to a mental disability from traumatic events and am not allowed to drive a vehicle. So I told the woman I could not drive and do not drive and all I have is an ID. She demanded to know why I do not drive. I told her mental dissability. They where rude to my roommate cause he took his son down there and told him that they where suspicious of him cause I was not with him.The reason I was not with him cause his son has a drivers licence. and because i did not drive his son would have to drive his other truck back. He had put Tommy down as the last one to make payments to on a truck cause that was the last one he made payments to. Anyway she auotmatically looked at us as white trash and treated us like so with a very unbuisness like attitude. Said well we need your information cause what if there is an emergency. I said there is a truck out there that runs that is bought and paid for. She ran us off. Which is fine. But I want you to know he has bought many vehicles and from Greg May chevrolet Corral and other places and paid for them all. That woman might be good at renting houses but she is terrible at saleing cars. She is rude she is very ugly and not buisness like. No wander you don't sale them there. Cause they treat people aweful. Yes there is 2 people in there and they are automatically going to come up with the same story. However there where 3 of us and we know and God knows the truth. Oh and we are glad he didnt purchase that truck he got better somewhere else.
