The subject of this complaint happened between 2:20pm and 2:30pm of December 16, 2019. I dropped by BDO at its Medical Plaza-Legaspi Village branch in an attempt to settle a credit card payment in advance. However, prior to my even reaching the door, the security guard who has his post inside the branch immediately secured and locked the door barrel, and when I knocked on its glass, the guard who has his post outside the door said in a bragging tone that I could not enter because it is "off-line". These two guards did not even know what was my purpose in trying to enter the branch. I could have been interested in availing bank products or investment portfolio. Yet, the manner in which the guards prevented me from having an access into the branch showed a huge attitude of rudeness and arrogance- one which, when reported to the branch manager, will most likely get a cover up. I called the branch number 88132739 and spoke with a certain Ms. Marcelo and reported the worse encounter I have had so far, with BDO. I hope the branch has cctv located by the entrance/exit to validate this claim. A very disappointing experience.
