I had a terrible experience with Avidia Bank. Their customer service was terrible and they charged me huge fees and interest charges. I would never use or recommend them to anyone.

This bank is terrible! I can't believe how bad their customer service is. I'm a customer and I've been trying to get in touch with them through email, but no one ever responds. When I call their customer service number, I can never get through to anyone. It always ends with a message saying that no one is available to talk to me. It's ridiculous! I don't know how they're still in business.

I got a letter from the *** State Comptroller saying I forgot money from my medical internship at NY *** in Brooklyn. The letter had a website to claim the funds. I asked for a check, but instead, I got a debit card in my name (which I didn't ask for or complete) with no money on it. *** is a joke if you can get a hold of them. They don't respond to emails. Avidia says someone opened an account in my name months ago, which wasn't me. There's something shady about this bank. I'm going to contact the *** office about this sketchy practice.

The app stopped working a while ago and when I asked the bank about it, they didn't know when it would be fixed. After about 3 months, it started working again, but they didn't tell me. When I messaged them on Facebook to ask why, they blocked me. Now, the app isn't working again and when I called customer service, they just told me to uninstall it. I did that last time and it made things worse. I called the bank representative who deals with this, but he takes days to get back to me. I've had this account for over 30 years and I deserve better service than this. I think it's time to find a bank that values and provides customer service because I'm not getting it here.

Avidia Bank ain't that great, their customer service is a joke. I had $270 on my card, but when my doc tried to charge it, only half went through and the balance check said $0. Their website said to call, but when I did, they said all the reps were busy and hung up. No hold or call-back, just keep calling. I wasted an hour and made 22 calls already.

I been tryna get my money from my old job's bank to my new job's bank (Avidia). I started the transfer in May and my old bank let go of the funds on May 19. I been checkin in with Avidia all the time, at first they said it takes 4-6 weeks to get the money but they gave me a confirmation number to show they got it. 6 weeks went by and they said it takes 6-8 weeks and not to worry. 8 weeks went by and still no money. Now they say it takes 8-10 weeks depending on my old bank. I called today, 12 weeks later, and they said the check is lost and I gotta talk to my old bank to start over and wait another 6 weeks. I wasted at least 6 hours of my time tryna get my money and they got no process. They can't even find a supervisor after being on the phone for over an hour today. They won't even give me the supervisor's full name or number. This bank is the worst I ever dealt with.

I was supposed to get a 1099-SA for my HSA, but the tax form is late. It's impossible to get a hold of anyone at Avidia to discuss what's going on. Their automated service just hangs up on you every time you try.

I want my cash back! They took it without my permission! And when I called them, they said they couldn't do anything to help me. That's not cool! A bank should be able to handle all transactions on my card. It's not fair that they can just take my money and leave me with nothing!

Avidia bank let someone take all my money from my debit card on 2/4, $8215.61, and put me in overdraft -$430.57. They didn't stop the transactions or tell me by text or email. When I found out, I called fraud alert and went to Avidia to fill out papers. They said they would investigate. On 2/9, they called me and said I was guilty and authorized the purchases, but I didn't. On [protected], the senior vice president called me and said she saw something wrong and would credit my account back the full amount within the hour. I got my money, $7785.04, and closed the account. The assistant branch manager said they would investigate again and take me to court to get the money back. I filed a police report and got a lawyer.

I had some trouble with Avidia Bank when I tried to transfer my HSA from my old bank. They said they lost my check and gave me different information every time I called. They told me not to reissue the check and to wait, but I had to delay my care for almost 2 months. I asked my old bank to reissue the check, but no one from Avidia Bank has called me back. I got hung up on 3 times in one day and no one seems to care about my situation. I'm disappointed in the customer service and I'm worried that my check will take a long time to arrive and delay my care even more. Their case ID is *** and the check number is ***.
