I am sending this as a complaint because I can see no other way of communicating with you on this subject. Your guidelines state this can be addressed via "My Account", but this serves no purpose for what I wish to discuss.

Dear Sirs,

I have recently received two email reminders (Both referring to Order No 9580635610from you notifying two amounts that will be charged to my credit card in the amounts of US$ 19.99 and US$ 79.99. It is not clear to me WHAT SPECIFIC SUBSCRIPTIONS these charges relate.

For your information, I ONLY made ONE PAYMENT on July 14th 2018 to cover my subscriptions last year covering:

Internet Security for US$ 49.99
Tune up for US$ 29.99
Password Protection for US$ 9.99

I am prepared to renew these subscriptions, BUT WHY TWO BILLINGS?

The billing for US$ 79.99 states it covers my Internet Security subscription.
The billing for US$ 19.99 states it covers my Password Protection subscription

So these two billings are already significantly more costly than what was paid last year AND the billings apparently do not include the Tune Up subscription.

Please note I DO NOTE APPROVE YOUR AUTOMATIC CHARGE TO MY CREDIT CARD UNTIL THIS MATTER HAS BEEN CLARIFIED.

Hi I recently purchased a 2 year subscription $69.99 to DRi AVG on May 24th? The money has been taken from my account and I have not received anything in return.

I also recently purchased from AVG a tune up yearly subscription om May 4th 2019 Order number [protected] which afterwards made my computer slower so then purchased the above. What is going on? I have installed the AVG Tune up but still kept being sent pop ups etc. Please help?

I had been an AVG Free Version user. Two months ago, my computer crashed. Many viruses were found on it. I never ordered any AVG products, except for running the free version up till the time of the repairs.

However, on 20 May 2019, I saw the following unauthorized transaction on my bank statements:

Friday May 03, you charged me on my credit card Capital One for one of your product DriI Avg Technologies for $79.99 on my credit card Capital One .

This is the second time that you try this on me. I am requesting a refund of $79.99 for your product that I did not order. The first time you did refund me with the same amount.

I agreed to give this product a try but I was not happy with the performance. After searching the Web I found another product which I am trying. There was no mention of an automatic renewal when I decided to give your product a trial. Therefore, I did not authorise an automatic renewal of this product. Please refund the £99.99 that was deducted from my account and oblige.

I would like to have a refund plus overdraft charges 20.00, I didn't order this and it over drafted my account as well return my money please, my phone number is [protected], I don't want an email a phone call would be best. Please return my money as fast as you took it out. Thanks susan overton. I don't know how you can just take money out of peoples account, that is actually theft if I didn't say do it. I am contacting better buisiness bureau and the police, my bank, and I will put it on the computer that you stealk peoples money.

Please cancel this order immediately. I am sick and tired of being billed on something I do not use and feel I was tricked into this. This is only the third time I have tried to submit a complaint and see others complaining also. I want this stopped now and request refund or will be forced to take other actions. The refund needs to go to Citi Bank. I am closing out my credit card.

My account was billed for a product that I did no purchase. I do not know who or where the purchase was made, but my account had a deduction through AVG paypal. i would appreciate it if this money was returned asap. I believe that this was a scam and I would like immediate attention to this matter.

I previously used AVG antivirus software and paid for the upgraded version, which was charged to my credit card. The very next month after that charge, they charged me again, but this time double billed it. I had to file a fraud/dispute with my credit card company and provide all the documentation I had to prove that I was charged incorrectly. I was found in favor and credited back for that billing. I received a new credit card with a new number after that incident. That was in 2016. I also have a confirmation email from AVG support that my account was cancelled and closed and that I would no longer be billed for their service. Jump to today 2/27/19 and I check my credit card account and find that on 2/9/19 I was charged again by AVG at the double billed charge for an account that I do not have and have not had since 2016. So, I am again filing fraud/dispute charges with my credit card, have to go through the entire process of providing documentation and having to get another new card and new card number. And, AVG has now been flagged/blocked from my account. This is ridiculous! How did they get the new card number and how do they keep charging accounts that don't exist!?!

The date the charge was posted was feb 5/2019. I do not know my client number. I rarely use any computer other than my work computer and phone and now find out I was charged $139.99 for something I basically never use. I would like to know which pc this charge was attached too as well as what exactly it covers because I still have pop ups on the computer saying "your pc needs to be cleaned to do so purchase this and purchase that" it seems not only do you need the above product but others as well which if that is the case I will retire everything besides my phone. I look forward to your response.

This company is extremely unethical. They sent you pop up reminder and charged you multiple times for renewal. They have not been able to fix a lot of backdoor even after paying them for technical support. Double billing and incorrect renewal date to charge you multiple time before the expiry. I have contacted technical support multiple times and they failed to provide the minimum standard of care to customers by paying no attention to your issue and arrogant in their replies.

I do not want my credit card to continue being charged for something we do not want. How do I go about making this stop? I will cancel my card if necessary.
I do not want my credit card to continue being charged for something we d not use. You need to reverse the charges made on my credit card because I am not paying them for it. I will dispute this payment.

I bought into the virus protection last month for 85.67 just to find out i had been in it already and paid several times. If you go back and check you will find it. Please refund my money asap or I will have to go to higher authorities on this. I did not realize that I had bought this before so many times. This is rediculous. Thank you

On Nov/10/18 you charged my credit card 52.21 that I did not order.The credit card is issued in the name of Charles Carrick and is a Mastercard ending in 9916.Issued by Barclay Bank.I do not use AVG and I want my account reimbursed this charge because whatever you have charged me for--I DID NOT ORDER.I use Avast anti-viris and do NOT use AVG.I think I have made my complaint very clear and don't need to add more words to convince you of your fraud.

£ 72.99. Was taken from me through paypal by avg for a service I no longer use! I must request an immediate refund please.

Please give consideration as I use my laptop principally to raise funds for cancer care charities marie curie hospice and macmillan cancer support. Thank you.

This payment was taken on the 17th november.* a full 16 days before the end of my previous subscription!* I cancelled the service on the 17th.!

I always had the AVG free trial version on my residential computer. It usually prompted me to upgrade and on 29 October 2018 I decided to opt in and selected the 1 year subscription for R199 and the password protect for R99. Thus total of R298. After entering my bank details and finished, I received an email from AVG with all the steps in downloading my full AVG program. Immediately thereafter I received a confirmation from Standard bank that R4962.29 had been deducted from my account. The amount of R298 was never deducted. Bank statement shows DRI*AVG Technologies 2018-10-29 T06:07:17 [protected] and a further R136.46 fee for international transaction were also deducted. Immediately a cancelled on AVG and requested a refund. Thereafter I received an email from AVG that amount of only R298 will be refunded. On 1 November 2018 I enquired again at the support.avg.com, they advise they payment was indeed deducted by them and I need to send an email to [protected]@help.avg.com with by bank statement to proof that R4962.29 has been deducted. Since then I haven't received a reply or a refund. I have send numerous of emails afterwards, but to no avail. I haven't downloaded anything, thus have been scamed by AVG out of almost R5000.00. I am going to spread this around on all websites because it seems that this is all that I can do - to warn other people about AVG.

I noticed I have A charge of $63.74 on my creditone mastercard that I did not arthorize im requesting that it be refunded imeditily thank you last 4 is 6327 cell phone [protected] Im only looking for avg the free version how I got charged $63.94 is beyond me, but it needs to be resolved. On the 5th september have been charged £34.99 on my MBNA credit card for computer software by AVG. and I do not know why. I do not have any AVG security and have not had for several years. I suspect this may be an automatically generated renewal that may not have been cancelled. As I no longer have, or wish to have any dealings with AVG, I would like to request a refund and if it is an automated renewal, an assurance that it does not happen again. Thank you John Daykin

Tell everyone 2 never use avg. I was using their free trial for internet security and come 2 find out for the past 3 yrs avg was taking $49.99 a month from my cc w / out my permission. I found out threw the bbb when making the complaint that avg is graded as below fair due 2 the many complaints the bbb gets. Now I have 2 hire a lawyer and sue avg in order 2 get my money back.
