After using the institute for almost 4 years, I was subjected to discriminatory and hateful actions. The school is denying services because I have had too many color corrections (allegedly 7 in the last four years), so you do the math. They can't provide a bill of rights, and when I call to speak to the owner, they bring people on the line who restate what's already been told to me. All my color revisions were approved by instructors. The school is refusing to escalate my complaint to the owner, and they said I am not allowed to go back for any service. Today, I called and spoke to a Dawn who is a call center lead - she said I wasn't being polite to the front desk manager, which is quite the opposite. She accused me of trying to leave without paying for my service when I tried to call on my daughter who had obtained the permission for me to come back for a redo outside of the 14-day window they allow for redos, as I had a procedure on my head and wasn't allowed to have color for 10 days.

If you don't really care about how nice the instructors are, then this place is a good choice. The students at Aveda Fredic's in West Chester, OH are really nice. My mom and I have a good time when we go there. We like meeting the students and hearing why they wanted to become stylists. We were surprised to hear that many of them would have quit Aveda Fredric's early if they could get their money back easily. According to the student stylists, the main reason is because of their instructors. The students say that they are scared of some of the instructors. I've been there many times with my mom for a girls' day out. We like going because the students are fun to talk to. But today was different. I felt really offended by their main instructor, Garianne C. She is always angry and doesn't understand things. I experienced this and left feeling shocked. Call me to fix this. According to the students, Garianne C is the meanest and least liked instructor. She is unfriendly and doesn't look at you. She acts like she's better than everyone else, so she doesn't have time or energy for you. Just being around her for a short time makes people (and it made me upset) not want to come back or be around anyone like her. If looks and attitude could kill! She's bad in every way, a negative person! It was disappointing to meet her for the first time. It's very clear that she doesn't know how to lead, be professional, or solve problems.
