My name is Trini bennett i bought the the super saver card as well and now meineke wont honor the card so i need a refund asap, i tried calling the number but its just an automated voice mail.

Who do we cantact for a refund since no one answers the phone number you posted?

I'm a busy mom of two who is widowed and purchased the super saver card, because who does not want to save money and it seemed like a good deal. Well aamco said they have not been paid and will not be taking the card any more. so top gun promotions are bad people and everyone should be aware.

I went to the AAMCO to get a oil change with my super saver coupon. The first time was o.k everything went smooth. Call to get a A/C performance test, and it was no opening at this time. But they would call me in a week or so no call. Now out of know where my change oil light is on. I just got my oil change less then 2 months ago. Called them and they told me maybe the switch was not reset, I should look in the car handbook to reset it. With a ATTITUDE...DON'T BUY FROM PEOPLE LIKE THIS !

It ended up costing me the same price as if I walked in and paid. 5 qt oil change (paid) plus a non standard oil filter charge (9.99) plus disposal fee (2.99) plus labor fee (2.99) plus tax (.82) coming out to a grand total of 16.79 that I had to pay additional to the coupon. Which cost 40.00. Divid that by the 3 free oil changes =13.33 +16.79 comes to a grand total of 30.12 To sum it all up, you dont start saving until you start to use the other deals on the card. I purchased a auto care super saver coupon, and only used it ! time. Went the second time and the store was shut down. I have 4 oil changes left. Where do I go to get my oil changed now, the other AAMCO said they don't use the card. So I am asking for a refund on the 4 Oil Changes I have left. Ive been buying Auto Care Super Saver cards every year that they come to my house. Ive never had a problem, well thats not quite true.
I moved and was far away from my previous aamco, I contacted the company that makes the acss card and they offered me to trade in my old card and get a new one for a huge discount.
Im sure if you had bothered to contact the company they would have swapped out any bad cards. Service stations come and go, but acss does business with a lot of service stations and could have just given you a card for another shop.
So yea, I had one minor problem: I moved, and they still found a way to help me.

By the way you can buy the cards on their website for even cheaper than they offer it door to door, but you have to use promo codes, this is one I found online and Ill be ordering from the website next time instead of waiting for them to show up at my door. Promo code: makvinn1

I've bought an auto care super saver each of the past three years they have come by my place in fort worth. The sales people are always very nice and professional and the shops which I purchased them for do a great job! The savings have not only put a huge amount of money in my pocket, but have also taken great care of my vehicles! I highly recommend the auto care super saver name as well as the shops they promote!

I bought one and it's the best deal I ever got on my car maintenance.

I also bought a "super saver" and it turns out to be a "super hassle". Warning to all - I would not buy from this company. If you go to the website www.autocaresupersaver.com it looks like they have lots of deals, but in reality you are only wasting your money.

I bought this super saver last April 17th and still have some oil changes plus numerous vehicle maintenance products yet to use. The only problem is that the company AAMCO in Poway has gone out of business. What is super saver going to do for me? As is this turned out to be a real bad "deal " for me. Let me know as soon as you can if the other AAMCO dealers will honor this or refund my purchase amount on a pro rated basis.

Auto Care Super Saver promotes for various auto repair shops throughout the country. If you've ever purchased one of their coupon cards they will send you to collections for NSF. They did it to me. I called the number on the back of the card and paid over the phone. They took me out of collections and didn't charge me the fees. If you didn't buy one then I don't know.

THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM... AND THEY WONT LET YOU CANCEL... ITS A JOKE

Very similar situations as everyone has mentioned, only thing is this was my fault in providing them with a bad check which I did by accident (check from a closed bank account). However my main complaint was that I NEVER recieved a phone call from collections or ACSS making me aware that the check bounced. Collections contacted me today which I happen to answer since it was a local area code and they stated that yes indeed they had sent the notification to the wrong address! He was very persistant in still making me pay $147.55 with the 40% added fee's they charged me for "assuming" I was refusing to pay! I never knew of ANY Of this till today! WHAT A SCAN INDEED!

ACSS wasn't trying to hear my complaint either so now that I read these reviews. . .it does make sense both companies are in a scam operation.

I bought one door to door. Read the details, it is not the good deal they suggest it is. You can get the same deals for free at any auto service company through their free coupons. Now I'm trying to get a refund. I followed all of their procedures, which includes sending in the card they sold me. Now I do not have either the money or the card and I can not get a hold of them. This is a door to door scam as far as I am concerned. Now I am trying to go through my credit card company as well.

As far as collections? If they try to collect, first get all of the information from the collection agency. This is what you need, the agents full name, the name and address of the collection agency, the name and address of the creditor, the amount due. Many times they don't want to give information for a reason I will state later. Don't ever do anything over the phone, check credit card or otherwise. Simply state that I will only send a check through the mail, where do I send it? But before I send anything, I need a detailed description of charges owed. Folks, all of this information they are required to provide by federal law, failure to provide it will result in a revocation of their licence to do collections, and don't be afraid to tell them that. If they refuse to give you any information, or when you have all of that information, simply state "I here-by am telling you to cease and decist any and all voice communication with me regarding this, and any related matter. You may communicate with me only by mail."

Now this is why they don't want to volunteer any information. They know that you will never pay if they do. Once they have sent you the information you requested, send a cease and desist letter to the collection agency. Be sure to refer to the "federal fair credit reporting act" in telling them to cease all attempts to communicate with you regarding this and related issues. Further state that any negative reports regarding the matter will result in your reporting them to the state attorney general. In the case of this company, advise that this is an attempt to collect a fraudulent charge.

If you call Top Gun Promotions, "Home of the Auto Care Super Saver" they will give you 4 options. Option 3 is if you have been getting calls from Pro Collect. Then they will give you an e-mail address to send your complaint to. That is the step in the process I am currently on.

I have exactly the same situation! I paid by credit card and paid $87.54. Now ProCollect wants $147.55. What a SCAM!

I got similar situation look you, I paid it by credit card. The only credit card I use all the time. I paid $87.54 at that time. Now the Procollect ask it for $155.06.
