I have used Athens Tree Service (recommended by a friend) twice. Both times I was more than satisfied with their work and the final results. I was unable to remain at home when they finished a job yesterday. When I returned, they had even blown off the driveway when they were finished, all stumps taken care of, and no sign of dead trees. I highly recommend Athens Tree Service!

Simply an fantastic project that they did for us here at Orchard Park in Greenwood, SC. Super professional team, great communication on assessment and they did exactly what they promised and even more. Our development looks amazing and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a company that actually know trees (they are arborists) and understand the value of preserving and maintaining trees the correct way!

Athens Tree Service are the best. We received quotes from several other local companies that did not impress. We saw the work they did on a neighbors yard and immediately asked for their contact info. They were prompt in coming out to give us a quote and get us on the schedule. They were professional and thorough. The clean-up after the job was complete was amazing. We could not be happier and will definitely recommend them.

Athens Tree Service is the best I have seen in living here for 35 years and having had several other companies do tree work on our property. They were exactly on time, did the work professionally and very well! They explained what there were doing and asked for my opinion as to what they were doing. But they did the right thing, and they really didn't need my opinion, since the job was done correctly. They cleaned up the entire yard after they finished! I recommend this company 100%!.

Athens Tree Service did a great job for us. They are professional. Their prices are reasonable. They adhere to safety protocols, and they did a great job cleaning up after all the work was completed. They removed 3 large trees for us, two of which were growing up around power lines and one that was behind and immediately adjacent to our house. They had all the proper tools and equipment, arrived on time, and completed the work quickly, safely and professionally. I would definitely use them again. Five stars!

Athens Tree Service is a reliable company to do business with. They are very nice to talk to also the are on time with there quotes . They give a time to come to my home and they were there the time they said. Also give me a date to come and cut the trees and there were on time for that to They cut all the trees I wanted cut and was were good at it. We are very pleased with the job they did I would recommend them to anyone that want trees cuts. I would call them again . Great job guys!

I highly recommend Athens Tree Service. They call when they say they will, they come when they say they will. The price quoted was reasonable. The job they did cutting back overhanging limbs was excellent and when they cleaned up, I think my driveway was cleaner than when they started. A nice group of people to work with. Do yourself a favor and don't call anyone else. We have used a couple of services before we found Athens. None came to their level of professionalism. Athens has our trees from now on.

This was our first time using Athens Tree Service, and if we need anymore work in the future, they'll be the first people we call. They did have a heavy backlog when we got the estimate, but we weren't in a hurry to have the work done. They called when they said they would to schedule the work. They cut down two small/medium trees, grinded up those two stumps and a very large oak stump, and limbed a couple more trees. They did very clean, quick work, and their prices were reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

This is an outstanding company! Scott and Johnathan are great to work with and are certified arborists. They are very personable, professional, efficient and fair in pricing. They are prompt for needs that require such attention and skilled in doing jobs that save trees or enhance property. Their crew workers are also well trained and leave the property cleaned from any debris that accumulated from the job. We have used them for several jobs and find their company to be "the gold standard" in the Anderson SC area. 2nd time we called on Athens Tree. Their professionalism, safety protocol & trade skills are top notch & 2nd to none. The team went above & beyond on both projects. Their completion & cleanup, post project, is extremely impressive! While I am completely pleased with both projects, I am not surprised. Once you meet or speak with any of this team and see their 'yard friendly' and 'heavy' equipment, you know you are in good hands & have made a good decision to utilize their services. A+++ Service. Very professional from the moment I made the first phone call to someone getting back to me immediately and meeting with Jonathan Athens, one of the owners, the very next week. I was quoted a price to have 2 trees removed and 3 trees trimmed and the price was surprisingly lower than what I thought I could get it done. They arrived on time even a bit early, he trimmed trees look great and the cleanup was awesome, they even cleared the leaf debris that fell on the roof. After they left, you could not even tell anyone had been there. Paying the invoice by credit card was a snap and easy to pay online. A big thank you to Athens Tree Service and employees.

One word: Professionalism. Every aspect of the business shows professionalism and that they take their business seriously. From the initial phone call to request a quote, the owner showing up to provide the quote, the job being performed and the business transaction. It was all handled very well and with no complaints. The job was not able to be scheduled for a few month out due to being booked up, but that speaks volumes in that they have a great reputation. The price quote was surprisingly better than many others. You can tell they take safety very seriously and they have the correct equipment to do any job the right way. No cutting corners. I highly recommend Athens Tree service.

I have dealt with a lot of tree services companies but this one is by far the best. I had five 40 footers, two 30 footers and and 18x5 for wide water oak taken down. These guys were like a well oiled machine. There at 8:00, done with the trees before noon. However, the best part was the water oak that was taken down, had to have another company grind the stump because it was so big at the base. The other company did very good but the was a spot maybe 3x3 wide where some roots were still showing. I was really surprised it was only that small missed by the amount of mulch it made. When the young man came to take the grinding away he seen it and had their own stump grinder come back and grind what was missed. They did this on their own. I did not mention it at all. That is the difference of a good company and a great company. Once it was all done, with the exception of missing trees, you could not tell they were even there. They clean it up so well. There will never be another tree service for me. Thank Athens!

This is the first time I have ever used a tree removal service and I must say I am completely satisfied. The crew performed as professionals and were very friendly and courteous. Kudows to them. They did the work exactly as I had requested and did it in a timely manner and Sharon was most co-operative when scheduling. Scott stopped by to check on things and the price was a fair price. I was also impressed by how well they cleaned up all the debris when they were done. A short side story. I am almost 73 and the work that was done will make my lawn maintenance easier for me in the future plus I will have a much more attractive lawn. Also, neither me nor my pup(a pitt/Tazmanian devil mix) have adjusted to the new look yet. I kept her in the garage while the work in the back yard was being done. Upon completion I let her out and after checking everything out she just went and sat on the stump for a while. Later, near twilight, I couldn't find her. I walked all over the backyard and finally found her lying in a spot that I've been using to burn brush. She was just lying there looking sad as if she missed the trees but I think she was only trying to understand why there was no longer a tree in her playground.
