ASUS ZENBOOK UX325JA-EG078T

Hi, this laptop is 14 months old and last week it became extremely hot, so much so i took it outside because it was a danger. Since then it has not worked, it does not turn on. When I called your customer services today they would not help without charging me. I appreciate this is 2 months outside your liability however I would expect your products to last longer and i was quote shocked you were not interested to repair this FOC to see what had gone wrong with it.

Desired outcome: I would like this items repaired free of charge

ASUS Rog strix g15 kernal errors

I have had my laptop for a year it went of for repair and yet is still rebooting every 5 mins and having errors after paying over £1000 pounds for this laptop and owning it for 1 year and 18 days this is a joke, if I want it looking at again I would have to pay knowing full well that this is an ASUS problem and it is well documented on the forums, This is my 4th ASUS laptop and will be my last I refuse to throw any more money down the drain

ASUS Brand new lp with factory default

Hi Asus Team,

I hope my email finds you well today

Before my last business trip I bought a LP Asus Zen UX363EA0LED001T - 5299AED from Sharaf DG. (15.08.2021)

I uploaded all my work files and set up my licenced Microsoft Office.

In 2 days I landed at my destination, worked on my LP half a day, then my emails started to disappear. Closed the outlook all my files started to disappear. The amount of files and information I lost is massive, and very time consuming.

I had to reinstall the entire window system 4 times which cost me 45 euros each time! It then works for a few hours, then the same story over and over again.

I landed in Dubai today, went to Sharaf DG to either fix it, provide me a new workable LP or refund the money - to hear that I have to wait between 7 to 14 working days until they receive diagnoses from ASUS office.

Today I get a call from Sharaf DG to tell me that my laptop has an issue with the keyboard - FACTORY DEFAULT!

And the suggested solution was to wait for 7 to 14 working day until the ASUS Team FINDS THE SPAREPART to repair it.

Now, tell me please why a laptop with A FACTORY DEFAULT WILL NOT BE AUTOMATICALLY REPLACED! I was in between my travels and the stress and expenses this laptop brought me is absolutely enormous!

I bought a brand new LP because I need to work and waiting another 2 week to the already accumulated stress I had is just such a disappointment!

A FACTORY DEFAULT found either in the first week or 1st month is still a FACTORY DEFAULT REGARDLESS THE POLICY YOU ARE CARRYING! ASUS simply said SELLS BROKEN LAPTOPS! And then I am asked to wait for the laptop to be repaired, which is supposed to be a brand new laptop?

I would really appreciate it if you as the ASUS representative would be able to try and understand the situation I am in and come back with a professional and logical solution to it.

I am always in between business trips eg. I travel out of Dubai on Thursday 7th October evening for another month and I do really need the laptop which I paid for to work as it should!

I appreciate your assistance with this and do really help this will be solved at a professional level without making it public.

ASUS Asus technicians refusing to repair when fault is proven in laptop

-Date of Registering Case : September 8 2021
-My Case IDS case ID: A2109021501-0001
--Multiple case IDs have been made after that too.

-I purchased laptop on June 6th
-On august 5 my laptop motherboard got dead and was sent to service center, after whole one month of wait I got my laptop.
-But, when laptop arrived it has serious CPU throttling issue and CPU clock speed was not reaching upto what is shown in specification of laptop.
-CPU Ryzen 7 5800H is not boosting upto 4.4 Ghz as mentioned in official product specification. In my case it is only reaching 3.8 GHz in video, animation rendering and any other CPU intensive tasks.
-Also in product page it is mentioned that liquid thermal compound has been used but in my laptop liquid metal is not used .I also confirmed with service center that liquid metal thermal compound was not used in my laptop after product repair but a generic cheap thermal paste.

-Screenshot 2 and Screenshot 3 : How asus technicians didn't even acknowledge CPU clock speed issue and GPU temp issue. This was the 4th time. The other 3 times asus did the diagnosis in service center and said the same on call without repairing my laptop. The official technicians didnt even asked me before declaring the laptop has no fault.

-Screenshot 4- Here's proof that same laptop with others are not having same cpu thermal and throttling issue. The temperatures are lot good and cpu clock speed are running near max.

-Also check out this Asus Tuf A15 performance having same CPU Ryzen 5800H and GPU RTX 3060
-In Asus A15 GPU temperature is always below 80 degrees and CPU clock speeds reaching higher than mine Asus rog strix
-Asus Rog Strix G15 is supposed to have better performance and cooling system than Asus tuf, being much expensive.
-But here Asus TUF A15 is having much better thermals and performance.

-Also, I purchased the product after seeing all the specification, and if I am paying for the specifications, I should be getting it. Otherwise, asus should get a refund. Enough time has been wasted. I am without my laptop and work for past 2 months.

Desired outcome: Need a refund or need asus to repair to product immediately with 2 month warranty extension for time asus has wasted

ASUS Poor support

I have exhausted my patience with your customer support department. I spent nearly two hours, first call was intentionally rude setting the pace, I was disconnected, blindly transferred, being told wrong information, lied to, ignored, asked for supervisor, was told I need to hang up and call back. Nobody would ever let me speak to a supervisor. I also have issues paying you to tell me how your computer fails. I understand I will need to pay as it is our of warranty but your request to charge me to tell me how your product is inferior is appalling. I just spent 2 hours being treated horribly and I'm not happy about this at all. Your team successfully succeeded in only one area, proving to me that ASUS does not care about customer service and I should not buy another ASUS

ASUS sales

I bought asus rog strix g15 2021 for 1.37lakh INR on 12th of june 2021 but it suddenly stopped working on 3rd august 2021. I contacted asus hotline about the complaint the next day ( 4th of august ) and they assigned onsite service for me but I recivied the call regarding the matter from service center on 9th of august. That day without even appraising my laptop they assumed that it must be a motherboard failure as if it was a common thing for them. They said it would take around 7-8 days for the parts to arrive and since then I waited for 10 days and now today I contacted them and they reploed I need to wait till 1st of sept. For the parts to arrive. I mean, I wasn't even 2 months since I got the product and I wasn't using that laptop for more than 7 hours a day. I bought it on 12th but it reached me on 16th of june and I got to use it from 17th of june. Considering the time I even got to use that laptop. It's not even way more than 1 month and 2 weeks as if it failed exactly after the time period in which I can even apply the consumer act 2015. And now they say I need to wait a whole month to even get it working again? Out of 12 months warranty, 1 month is just wasted? I'm extremely unhappy with asus's services and products and I would like to demand a refund or atleast a replaced for shipping a defective peace. As far as the laptop's condition goes. Except fingerprints due to the material used for the product. There isn't even a single visible scratch on the whole body. It was never dropped or got wet. Even the base rubber for grip is like never used. I always used that laptop over a cushion and treated it with utmost care even more than I do for my own self and it just stopped turning on one day? I feel like my fortune got dumped in a pit. I demand a refund or atleast a replacement at the least. This was the first laptop of my own life. I waited and saved money for 2 years and got a defective peace? I hope you listen to your customers and stop shipping defective pieces to India.

Desired outcome: Complete refund or a replacement the least.

Hello Brother, I also bought the same laptop around june. My laptop was also dead on august 5th. Only got it back after whole month and still laptop had throttling issue. I sent laptop to service center again. But, asus hasn't taken any action to repair it yet. Also, unable to use my laptop for work and college since past 2 months.
ASUS — Asus technicians refusing to repair when fault is proven in laptop
Sad to see multiple people having the similar issues that are not getting solved. Asus is not taking any responsibility for it.

ASUS Asus CX1500 Chromebook

Purchased thru Walmart May 31, 2021. Worked twice and when I logged onto Navy Federal, someone else's username and password populated. This computer is NOT NEW! Now, 8/17, it won't power up even after being charged all night. I want a new computer, not a used one! I called the bank and reported this to the fraud department.

ASUS G531GT-B17N6 Serial Number: K4NRCV01W473162

I will be honest. I am searching for a Class Action Settlement Filing that occurred after 2020. I own a NON MODIFIED Asus ROG Strix G31GT. It is less than 3 years old and IS NO POWER NO LIGHTS NO BOOT! I have never used it for Gaming. Never OC'D. I have only used it for DJing and regular web surfing. The reason I purchased it was for the backlit keyboard! Another reason was that I had purchased an Asus G520 I believe. It is over 6 years old and I have only had to replace the screen which I broke. IT IS STILL WORKING FOR HALF THE PRICE! I was quoted apprx 800 dollars to replace the mother board. The laptop is currently only worth 800 dollars. I have taken it to an Authorized Laptop Repair Service. HE could not find the problem due NO SCHEMATICS PROVIDED/AVAILABLE! Which appears to me as an INTENTIONAL ATTEMPT AT KEEPING THE LAPTOP FROM AN "COMPONENT" REPLACEMENT AT A FRACTION OF THE COST!
I am not the ONLY ASUS CUSTOMER with the SAME ISSUES! Is it the use of Bad Components on the MotherBoard or INTENTIONAL DEFECTIVE PRODUCT MANUFACTORING? Asus Corp... This Is NOT GOOD BUSINESS!

ASUS Rog zenith ii extreme alpha

Today's Date 4/12/2021

First Motherboard: Purchased on [protected]
1. This motherboard worked correctly for 10 days.
2. Upgraded BIOS due to so many issues as stated in bios description.
3. POSTED HDD02 and no video after that point.
4. Sent in under RMA for repair using original OEM box bubble wrapped and put inside original Amazon shipping box.
5. ASUS sent an image of superficial damage of Amazon box and edge of circuit board with damage while shipping was using ASUS shipping label and shipper.
6. Sent a bill for replacement, approximately $800.00, which is basically original cost.
7. Disputed and sent second used motherboard which was replacement for original
Second Motherboard: Received on March 26 which was supposedly tested.
1. I took pictures of the box as shipped and circuit board and found manufacturing defects from FOXCONN, missing pins and molding defects.
2. Installed motherboard and ended up with same HDD02 post code.
3. Sent back under RMA for second time with pictures of manufacturing defects and charge of $80.00 for repair of manufacturer defects which they are calling customer induced defects.
4. I am now sent back picture from ASUS Indiana as if I removed the pins and made the plastic mold defects from FOXCONN. This is absurd as ASUS is blaming me for shipping problems on first motherboard and now for manufacturing defects and second motherboard.

ASUS Router guest-ssids are blocked from connecting to vpn servers!

Original factory Firmware on the Asus RT-AX58U router allowed GUEST-SSIDs( Guest-wifi server accounts) to connect to VPN servers. But suddenly they BLOCKED this feature with their latest firmware.

Disappointed.

Last known ticket opened #N2103055208 is STILL unresolved.

Desired outcome: REACTIVATE GUEST-wifi SSIDs (or servers) to connect to VPN-services

ASUS AX6600 tri-band mesh wifi6 not performing as it should be

I got the ASUS Zen WIFI AX6600 and thought i would change my WIFI experience at home. When I connect my Macbook Pro to Modem and WIFI AiMesh Router, with cat7 cable, i get a speed of over 900mbps. At the same location, I use connect with my MacBook with WIFI to AiMesh Router, i get less than 500. HK support team said that's normal to have a reduce rate of 15% when connecting to WIFI. But what i am getting is more than 40% of speed reduction from the Router, not the NODE.

ASUS Extended warranty

I was doing some self diagnostics via an Asus application and discovered that the laptop (Serial number K6N0CV117713269) was out of warranty. I then purchased an extended warranty using their website on or around 9/12/2020 (Order number 202009AP14000079).
For some reason they had to send me some hard copy form for the warranty, which struck me as very odd for a company that advertises itself as a cutting edge technology company.
I finally received the warranty card in the mail yesterday (9/23/2020). went on the website to activate the warranty. The website requested that I provide a password that was on the card. I had to scratch off the covering to provide the password. Once that was complete, the response from the website was the warranty could not be activated.

I contacted customer support today to find out if I could activate the warranty. Since the original warranty had expired, the customer rep explained, I could not be covered by any additional warranty. I was disappointed but I understand why that would be, . I then requested a refund. The customer rep told me that I could only receive a refund if the warranty card was not scratched/intact. I explained that I had to scratch off the covering of the password per the website, but was again informed that I could not receive a refund.

Des (the sales respondent) never answered my question(s), made a random suggestion unrelated to my question and blamed your parent company for lack of basic information.
He wasted my time and belittled my genuine attempt to know more of your products. Overall very insulting.

ASUS Warranty service

My monitor (MG28UQ) recently went bad and I put a claim in on under my 3 year warranty. (Active Case# N200436157) The monitor was registered with Asus with a copy of the dated purchase receipt. There ad for this monitor states that you get "Rapid Replacement 3 years warranty service with free cross shipping is included, so you can game on, worry-free" (taken directly from their on this model. Well, this is a total lie and I have been waiting for 2weeks since I turned in my claim. Asus customer service said that they manually have to check stock for replacement. They also said that if they do not have a replacement, my monitor would have to be shipped to them for a repairs. Of course this could take at least another 2 weeks or more. What happen to their ad stating Rapid Replacement. Very bad customer service here!

ASUS A brand that doesn't worth a single star

Don't even know how to start. It's the absolute worst brand I've ever come across. Within my 2 years warranty, my laptop had caused problem - 3 times. First was with the hard drive, causing me to lose very important files and project, and all they could tell me was "sorry." Second was the issue with the brightness, but it was able to solve via online chat.

The third time was my fault because I dropped it and caused one side of the screen to crack open. But months after getting it fix, another problem started to occur. Whenever I tried to adjust the screen, it will black-out or glitch for short moment. Then, just last Dec on Christmas (how can I forget), when I adjusted the screen again, there was a small exploding sound and spark and smoke came out of the screen (where the crack used to be). I was still able to use it until the next day it totally died on me.

I got it fixed again but my warranty was over so I've to pay for it. I was told that there was a problem with the battery and I will have to get it replaced, and will cost about $100. I got it back after about 2 weeks and within less than 24 HOURS, the same screen problem happened again, but this time, when I adjust the screen to a certain position, it will auto shut-down...

That's when I figured that there was actually nothing wrong with my battery at all if it weren't for the screen that apparently the engineer or whoever - just did not fix it properly. So I actually paid $100 to fix a problem that was caused by them. Only to it back with the same problem.

And all they could tell me was SORRY? Can 'sorry' give me back the time that I'd waited to get it fix? Can your 'sorry' give me back the $100 that I've wasted? I'm not rich, if I'm, I would have just bought a new one, why bother getting the piece of junk fixed? I do not need your freaking apologies ASUS, I need a solution not more problem. Yet you can't even do that.

This is not the only time. Previously, when I first used your band was your phone and it gave me tons of problem after less than a month (I'm not going to waste anymore time writing about it) It was just stupid of me to give your brand another chance to go for your laptop. So I guess, shame on me.

Never again.

People, my advise to you, DO NOT EVER GO FOR THIS BRAND.

You have done it ASUS. Congratulations! You've make me write my very first complaint.

ASUS Asus f540u laptop

I bought a Laptop for my daughter for school, an Asus F540U. I have been using Asus with no problems for years, I used to have a computer business when I was older and used Asus exclusively because of their reliability.
The Laptop I bought my daughter has been nothing but trouble since it was bought. I also recommended one to a friend for his daughter and both had issues within the first 2 weeks. Both had their batteries fail. They were both sent away to be repaired so both girls had nothing for school. We got them back and thought nothing would go wrong now, all sweet.

Now less than a year again since the battery was replaced, it has failed again and can only be used with a power adaptor. I am quite disappointed with these laptops as I've always thought Asus were using good components but will not buy one again. I shall go back to Dell or another brand.

ASUS Laptop

I bought the ASUS UX430U laptop in May 2018. I bought this product on the advice of ASUS sales representative friends as PREMIUM-QUALITY-NOPROBLEM. Indeed, it is more expensive than its counterparts. I have not used any unlicensed software and / or products from the time of purchase. For the last 4-5 months, it has started to display VERY FREQUENT BLUE SCREEN. I gave my computer to the authorized service to correct this situation (October 2019). But after the computer was delivered to me (saying no problem), it began to display MORE BLUE SCREEN. Asus customer service on different days, by constantly calling / or calling, we have repeatedly removed software, software download. I have been repeatedly told that this malfunction is not hardware but software. Friends of Asus customer service, thanks to them, were helpful (we talked once for 1.5 hours - we talked for 4-5 hours in total). Again, with barely permission from my job, I gave the computer to the authorized service again (November 2019). At this time, the mainboard was changed for the so-called software malfunction. I received the computer, I came home, this time the keyboard lighting was not working, before the earphone output does not work, the speaker was experiencing problems such as sizzling sound. For this, we made 4-5 phone calls but could not correct. I had to go back to the authorized service (third time). I described my experiences objectively above.

I REALLY DO NOT WANT TO SEE THE ASUS BRAND LAPTOP, I HATE IT, I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE, IT IS EXTREMELY RUIN IN MY LIFE AND I HAVE HEADACHES FOR THAT.

I bought a asus tuf gaming laptop worth 52000rs after that I was eligible to buy an 1tb HDD and a customizable ROG tshirt from asuspromo.in.
I ordered the combo of 1tb hdd with an customized ROG tshirt. After few days I got call from asus regarding the customization and few mins of conversation they were not sure about my size so she asked me to call me in the evening regarding the size so after few hours after searching for sizes of ROG tshirt. I called the asuspromo customer care they were not picking up the phone and I tried calling again and again they were not picking up the call. This incident took place around14-15 October. Few days back I received the hard disk and it was in such a poor condition. It felt like I had ordered a second hand harddisk. They box was damaged the company seal was opened no document was in the box.. when I contacted the asuspromo customer care and told them about this they simply said we can't do anything about this. I asked them to give me contact of some higher authorities and they too told me that they cant do anything. And then I asked them about the size of tshirt they are going to deliver me, she said its an L size. I told them my size is S but she said that the t-shirt has been dispatched we cant do anything then I told her that I have been trying to contact you but you were not picking up the phone after that all she did is to put the blame on me that I wasn't picking up th call. But she hasn't even called me once. Then I asked them to refund my money they said they cant even do that. Just tell me whats my fault in this. I paid the price you asked and what I received was a second hand hdd and an amazing oversized tshirt. Great

ASUS asus max pro m2

I bought a Max Pro m2 on 17.03.2019.After buying the phone I have gone
Burdwan service center for 5 times.
In this phone there have earpiece speake, loud speaker low sound, battery
drain, notch issue, touch issue, front camera damage, charging issue, update
issue, network issue etc.
Some times after the warranty of the device will be going to end.My
family's economic condition is very bad.My father is a hawker.After the
ending of the warrenty, when any problems are occurred, then I shall not go
to the service center because the service charge is very high.The warranty
of this phone will end after 5 months.My house and Asus service center
distance minimum 65 km and the transport cost is so high.I am tried to call and chat
with the Asus authority center minimum 40-50 times for the refund.But they
repeatedly told me for go to service center.For this phone i have beaten
many times by my father and mother, they rebuke me all times.All days i call
them, chat with them but they can not return my money.I thank you for the extension of the warranty 1month but i am not happy with it.When your higher authority team contact with me then their behaviour is very bad and they can not realize or understand any customers problem. I want refund for this device. If you do not want to give me refund total price of product then give me 9000/8500 of 10000 price of the phone.They always say they can not give refund or replacement, so i was helpless and finding no way i said to extend the warrant.If you do not want to nothing atleast give me an old phone with replacement with my device.I request you all the Asus management team
kindly refund for this device or anything.
