Asurion review: Factory reset my ps5 without warning
I sent in my PS5 because it was broken, and somehow Asurion managed to make the situation even worse, which I didn’t think was possible. Instead of actually telling me anything, they sent it back to me factory‑reset, like wiping my entire system was some kind of solution.
No warning.
No explanation.
No accountability.
No text.
No call.
Just a blank console and a shrug.
It’s honestly impressive how a company can advertise “expert repairs” and then return a device in a condition I didn't want
Recommendation: If you value your data, your time, or your sanity, avoid Asurion. They don’t fix problems; they erase them and hope you won’t care. Because oh well, to them? Time, memories, and money are worthless because they wanna maintain that corpo slop image.
