These people stole $30 from me. Their software does not work. I contacted them for help and they will not respond. I asked for a refund ... they won't respond. Beware of asoftech photo recovery...it doesn't work...they just want to steal your money!

On October 20, 2021 I inadvertently contacted Asoftech trying to register my Netgear Extender. When I realized I was not dealing with Netgear and asked for a refund of my $267.49 Asoftech told me that they were refunding my money and on December 10, 2021 they stole another $267.49 from me. I filed a dispute with my bank and my bank said I had to deal directly with the company. I called Asoftech more than ten times. A Michael Sinclair promised me my full refund. The last three times I called some foreign guy refused to let me talk to Michael. It is now January 30, 2022. No REFUND. They are liars and thieves.
Company is located in Singapore.
Just had to get money refunded via PayPal after purchasing Asoftech Photo Recovery software and not getting software download link. They would not reply to my emails for weeks then replied to say they would send download link, but didn't. Personally I would never use this company again. Buyer beware on this one everyone!
Same happened to me. Working with credit card company to get my $30 back. What a scam. Will contact BBB and make a complaint with CA Attorney General, Consumer Complaint.
I am also making no headway with them, I bought this program because several sites suggested that it could restore the files I accidentally deleted from my Humax video recorder. It can't, all I got was as per the attached.
Messaged them several times via their website - absolutely no response. Going to take it up with Paypal now,
THIS SOFTWARE DOES NOT WORK AND THE COMPANY NEVER REPLYS BACK TO THEIR EMAILS! I WILL BE UPLOADING THE FULL SOFTWARE FOR FREE FOR ANYONE INTERESTED SINCE THEY WILL NOT REFUND MY MONEY ON THEIR JUNK SOFTWARE AFTER MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT THEM! I even sent a screen shot of the issue and never got a response back! Now months later, still no reply. If I can't be refunded, every software upload site will be given a copy of the software. May as well get my $40 worth.
I had the exact same problem.
Paid for a full version and it keeps saying Unregistered Trial Version.
Will have to cancel my credit card and request a refund see if I am lucky enough.
Should have looked at googled 'AsoTech Scam' prior to paying
