Husband thought we had a mouse or rat in garage and called these people. They told him no charge for first visit and placed traps inside the garage and a couple outside. A few weeks later we get a bill for $69 saying they were out and provided a service the day before. I told them, NO they weren't here. No one came to the door, no one asked to go into the garage to get to traps. I'm not giving them a dime for doing nothing. I told them to cancel. My husband was never given any contract, signed nothing and ow they want a $199 fee for cancelling. NO WAY! This should be illegal. No disclosure of this whatsoever. Small amount but multiple that by all those who they are defrauding, it adds up. I'll take them to small claims court first. They should not be allowed to practice business in California, and I will let the state know and be aware of these con men!
Recommendation: Stay way! RUN! Others, file suit as well. They need to be stopped!

This has happened to us on several occasions where we get a message that they came the day before and no one ever came. We were home the entire day. One time they came like 7:30am in the morning on a Saturday. We were still in bed and no one came to the door but we did see the guy on camera. He only did the front of the house and a comment was on the invoice that mentioned that we were not at home. I would have never known if they didn't send me the email. Then there was another time where I changed the appointment like 2 days before and they sent the tech out anyway for the day that I cancelled. We have been with them for a while. It wasn't like that when they first started, something has changed in the past few years.
Claimed I'm in Michigan and hired Aptive Pest Control. They came put something down on the lawn and around house and garage. A few weeks latter still had ants and lots of other bugs. Called them and was told it takes several treatments for it to work. They came back for another treatment, about 4 weeks from 1st treatment. Checked on how treatment was working, same thing ants and bugs still in same places! Cancelled them and they billed me for $199,00 for breaking contract. Claimed I didn't give treatment enough time to work. I've used Bug be Gone for years, within 2 weeks ants and other bugs were gone! Don't know what they're using but it doesn't work. Thus far I've refused to pay them any more money. They are a total scam!
