I stopped using Luv-A-Lawn and Pest Control because they weren't doing a good job on my lawn. I have cameras and I saw a guy do the paperwork in his truck for like 10-15 minutes. Then he put the paper on my door and sprayed the front bushes for less than 5 minutes. When I looked at the list of things he was supposed to do, only one was right. I'm paying them and they're not doing what they said they would. They want to charge me $125 to stop using them and that's not right. I'll keep writing reviews if they keep charging for stuff they didn't do. That's stealing!

I'm an 82 year old person on a fixed income and in March 2022, the tech who treats my lawn referred a lawn company to replace the sod on my front lawn. He told me Luv-A Lawn worked with this company and assured me the job would be done right. I paid $1500 to the referred company. The lawn care company removed my grass and they never returned to finish the job. My family called Luv-A-Lawn to complain about their referral and asked that they help me resolve the issue. Luv-A-Lawn made promises to help me resolve the issue, specifically from management in their local offices. They assured me they wanted to take care of this issue and do the right thing. After several phone calls from my family they finally told me they would not take care of my lawn even though they said they would. I did not want any money from Luv-A-Lawn, only that they fix the grass that was removed. I'm very disappointed in their customer service and management.

I told them not to spray chemicals on the backyard where my kids play, but they did it anyway. It was written on the contract, but they didn't follow it. The manager still charged me the early termination fee, even though they made a mistake. They said they tried to fix it, but how can you undo chemicals that have already been sprayed? Luv-A-Lawn won't admit their mistakes when you cancel their service, and they still want you to pay the high termination fee. Be careful with this company.

My yard was lookin' real good before I hired these guys. I hired 'em to take care of my yard, but after they did their thing, my yard was lookin' like a hot mess. I bought a new house with a nice yard, and I wanted to keep it that way, so I hired these guys. But over the year they were takin' care of my yard, it just kept gettin' worse and worse. Now, it's almost completely messed up with dead spots and weeds everywhere. I called 'em up to cancel, and they asked if they could try some extra stuff to save my business. I said okay, but only if it was free. They did the extra stuff, and surprise surprise, my yard looks even worse now. So I told 'em to just stop tryin'. But then they sent me a bill for those extra services, even though they said they'd be free. Don't waste your time or money with these guys.

Luv-A-Lawn was told not to renew my service on 3/27 at 10:32 ET, but they still did it anyway. They say there's no difference between auto-renewal and monthly billing, but that's just a sneaky way to get more money from people who cancel. Plus, they charged me $70 for treating my whole lawn when they only did about a third of it because of some work in my backyard. That's not fair! They need to cancel that bill and never come back to my properties again.

Bad service. They don't do what they say they will. I called Luv-A-Lawn to take care of my lawn. The first two times they came, it seemed like it was working. But then my lawn got a lot of weeds. When I called them to come back, they said I had to wait for my next appointment. They never came back. They were also taking care of another lawn for me, but the weeds were too much. When I called, they said they would send someone out. They did, but all they did was spray a little bit and charge me $90. I talked to a manager and asked them to stop coming because they weren't doing what they said they would. But they still sent someone and charged me more money. Now I have to fix my lawn myself.

I had a bad experience with Luv-A-Lawn and Pest Control. I paid them $420 for fertilizer and weed control, but they didn't do a good job. The weeds didn't die and my grass turned yellow. I complained, but they didn't respond for 7 days. When they finally came to inspect my lawn, they said it was in poor condition. I had to spend $7,479 to remove and replace the sod because of the invasive weeds and grasses. The manager refused to refund me for the services they didn't do properly. I think they should refund me the $420 and I will take the other damages to small claims court.

Luv-A-Lawn ain't worth the money, they just pretend to care about your lawn. We got new Zoysia grass installed on treated soil and thought we were set, but then hired Luv-A-Lawn to protect our investment. They said they knew Zoysia and could keep it healthy and weed-free, but that was a lie. Our lawn got worse and worse, with dead spots and tons of weeds. Luv-A-Lawn kept making excuses and promising improvement, but it never happened. They even blamed our neighbors for the weeds! Finally, they cancelled our agreement and left us with a lawn that's worse than ever. We wasted $3,000 on these jokers and got nothing but dead grass, weeds, and bad grasses. Save your money and don't use Luv-A-Lawn.

They started their "service" same month we got new house, but shrubs started dying and weed grew. They offer shrub replacement plan, but weed still grew. Lawn looked fine at first, but we preferred longer grass and saw weed growing. Technicians said shrubs lacked water, so we watered every day except Sunday, but they still died. Weed grew and shrubs died, so we cancelled service. Emailed pictures of backyard, but no call from manager. Asked for links to pay invoices, but only received one. They want to charge early termination fee, but they never fixed shrubs or weed problem. Last month was May and still had weed. They need to pay for shrubs as promised and fix weed problem.
