I have never made this type of purchase online and thanks to your company I will never again. I knew when I placed the order it would be a few weeks for delivery which was not a problem until I received the email and text that my delivery would be on 08/31 between 4:00pm & 8:00 pm and I would get a phone call when the truck was 45 minutes out to which I did get a call but it was an hour later to say the truck was approximately 28 miles from my house and had broken down but they were trying to get a Penske truck and would call me back, needless to say I never got a call. I made 3 calls to the trucking company over the next few days and on the last call was told the truck was in NC which made no sense since the truck broke down in SC! The man I spoke to was rude non apologetic and just kept saying the truck was in NC and when I pressed him he told me it would be delivered on 09/13 but couldn't give a time of delivery. I contacted Appliances Connection to complain about the delivery service and to get some clarity as to when I would get my delivery and once again no concrete answer other than to say that they would email the trucking company and me. I did receive an email that I was cc'd on and this time was told it would be end of week or early the next week which is not what the trucking company told me. I emailed back asking about the 09/13 date that I was given and never got a response. I finally receive an automated call on 09/11 that the delivery would be on 09/12 between 10:00am & 2:00pm and I did get an automated call when it was 45 minutes out. The delivery man came in on the side of my house with the appliances and set them in my laundry room, took pictures to show no damages to which I signed off on and left. I go outside to take my trash can to the curb and there was a huge pile of Styrofoam stacked up on the side of my house! I called Appliance's Connection because online it says they remove the packaging, and the first explanation was the customer is required to keep packaging in case something is wrong with the appliance in order to ship it back but when I told the lady on the phone there was no boxes only Styrofoam then she changed the excuse to say that I had to pay for the white glove services which is not what their website says! The basic service for washer and dryer is:

Dryers

Attach dryer feet and level.

Attach the new dryer to 4' dryer cord or flex gas line (Included in Install Kit).

Attach standard venting material (Included in Install Kit).

Remove and dispose of all packaging material.

Washers

Basic Services

Remove shipping restraints, attach feet, and level washer.

Connect new washer to 4' fill hose and drain hose supplied by the manufacturer to existing utilities (Included in Install Kit).

I am a single 60-year-old woman, and not only do I have to pay someone to connect and level these appliances but now I have to take the packaging to the landfill! It's not just about the handling of the delivery but there was no customer care at all! When things go this bad there should at least be genuine care and not some service center BS from a sheet that is being read from. At the very least I should get a concession for the delivery charges and Appliances Connection should rethink how they do their shipping! I will not recommend your company and pray to God that the appliances are better than the service that I have received!
