Appalachian Power is unreliable due to power outages on a monthly basis. Power outages last from 10 minutes to 4 days this year alone. This Company has spent a lot of money building a solar farm outside of Chatham Va., they’re planning a miniature nuclear power plant, and other projects. But I hear nothing about improving infrastructure.

I should change the title because APCO is reliable for a power outage or flickering lights.

Recommendation: Get a good reliable Generator.

You’re not wrong — they’re reliably unreliable. Throwing millions at flashy green projects while ignoring the crumbling wires actually keeping the lights on is peak mismanagement. Sounds like they’re chasing headlines, not fixing the damn grid. If you’ve got backup power options, invest — because APCO clearly won’t.
