I know it is a fraud..i have been in ukraine 12 times the last two and a half years... i deveoped some friends that are girls on this site... they admitted to being paid.agency gets half and the the girls get half of that.. .two of them admitted to being each others translators...when a man came to visit..one of the girls would act as if she did not speak english and the other would translate..and visa vera... they said they wrot none of the letters, there was a girl that did all of the letter writing...this is all in nikolaev...

I see lots of so called complaints and not reference to anyone calling customer service to report a scam. Makes me wonder who is creating these posts if they really wanted to do anything to stop a scammer. It is simple guys. If you think you are being scammed...contact customer service. And for "stupid american", divorced people online date too. In most cases it is because a relationship ended for any reason and they want to harm the other party in hopes of getting them banned from the site. "You are forced to pay for each letter"...is hardly the truth and discredits your entire complaint. If you can't afford to be on the site...you can try your luck at a cheaper site that sells email addresses.

Of course AnastasiaDate/Social Discovery Ventures is a scam site. They have scammed hundreds of millions dollars from Stupid American Men. Many women are married or engaged. Those that are not have boyfriends and have no intention of marrying a foreigner. And this happens because of the pay per letter model that AnastasiaDate/Social Discovery Ventures uses. You are forced to pay for each letter you send to your lady. She in turn gets a dollars for every letter you send and she is paid 12 cents for every you are in chat. Never use pay per letter sites. They are all scams. Only use sites that are free or that charge one monthly fee. And do not pay more than $50 a month when you do so. The more money you spend, the less safe you are, and the more likely you are to be scammed.
For an example of Anastasiadate's database, see attached. Another woman at the site being paid like it is a job. She has her man and they have a child. You can look me up and find me on Google+, VK. and Facebook again soon. Come and help us to spread hope for those who are seeking love.
Have you ever complained to the company DJMakis68? Seems you haven't as this would have been easily solved for. Any vulgar messages from any member would result in the client getting refunded. Additionally, the lady in this case would be warned. However we can only request lady member follow the rules as male members. Nevertheless, a sexually implied chat does not constitue a scam. You are confusing scam with vulgar communications. If you haven't contacted Customer Service, you are doing nothing to help yourself.
Report it to CSD as complaintsboard is not where you will get your refund.

There seem to be several vague issues raised by of the posters on this thread. What is interesting is none of the "so called male clients" have ever contacted our customer service department. What is most interesting however is that some posters are implying they can't raise a formal complaint with customer service because the girl (that supposedly scamming them) is getting threats.
To clarify once and for all... Scam and fraud related activity is not tolerated on our site. Members are not threatened in any way. If a scammer is getting you to send her money, spend money on her or anything else that is not genuine...you should report her! If you are falling for the "but please don't report me line - because I my life will be at risk" is clearly an indication you are being scammed and will probably believe everything the scammer will want to you think. We cannot delete any scammer from the system if they exist if clients will not report them. That being said, making allegations of scam and not back them up without contacting CSD to provide profile numbers, screen shots, or anything else that can verify what is claimed helps nobody.
Do the right thing, file a complaint and we will remove any scammer. Protecting the scammer by buying into sad stories and not do anything about it other than complain here is worthless and does nothing to help other members.
Lastly, if you have any proof of any member on our site every harmed in any way...please share as we certainly are not aware of a single case. Again scammers are good at getting you to believe whatever they want to you believe. Do the right thing and report them to be refunded.

I am a member of Anastasiadate. Yes all I have found here are scams also. The company has the perfect setup. It is not Anastasiadate that is committing the fraud but rather the affiliated agencies in other countries. I have filed several complaints that were resolved and the profiles are no longer on the site. I have also had many with absolute proof they were married for it to only be ignored. When the ladies local agency is notified all post on social media that would substantiate a claim are remove immediately by the lady. Is anastasiadate aware of the actions of their affiliated agencies? Of course they are but choose to look the other way because of profitability. Womens photos are photoshoped and they are receiving Money for "taking part"
The women are mainly not even Writing their own letters or doing the chats by themselves.
Its mostly done by "secretarys" at the local agencies

I have been a customer of Anastasiadate for few months. I do not subscribe to most of the negative reviews. In this site, as in life you can find women with different motivations to join the site and engage in a conversation or more with a foreigner. But this would happen also in real life: if you met girls in a disco you may have the chance to find the woman of your dreams or simply a lady that wants to have fun and is not serious.
Personally I adopt this policy to decide whether to connect or not with the women in Anastasiadate
1) I rule out in principle all women which English proficiency is not advanced or fluent. Please, let's not believe in fairy tales! in order to develop a deep relationship with a woman the ability to communicate in a common language is essential. So better you learn Russian or you restrict your search to who speaks English reasonably well. I know that the most beautiful girls do not speak english...but direct communication is not optional to develop a relationship.
2) I rule out women that are constantly and repeatedly trying to chat with me without having made any previous contact through letter. I always agree before to talk in a chat with a lady. Who is on the site knows there are a number of women that are constantly trying to reach men on the chat with pre-defined opening lines. My view is: if she is interested she writes me a letter and may be she exchanges with me 2 or 3 before engaging in a chat. Writing a letter, even a short one, requires a bit of time. Reading the answer again. If the girls has a basis of interest, is the next step, If the answer contains references to my previous letter, another clear sign the girl has interest. Chatting is then the second step not the first.
3) I rule out women that seem to be on line 90% of the time and have in their profile too sexy pics and / or too many videos. If they are on line 90% of the time, it means that are doing nothing else than chatting, This is very suspicious and not a sign of being serious. If they have more than 1-2 videos (some of the girls have even 10!), then it is clear there is at least a business case of the girl behind the profile. May be she is open to find an husband, but she definitely wants in the meantime get something out of the search.
4) I rule out women that are not willing to exchange contacts - following the anastasiadate policy - pretty soon in the process. I read about men that stay 3 to 12 months in chat with a lady. This is to me unbelievable: get out of the virtual and go to real asap!, ask her contact details! this would save a lot of money and would give you the evidence whether the girl is really interested in your or not.
By applying these self imposed rules the number of potential girls to who I correspond of course lower dramatically. But in my case the girls react in a way that I would define completely honest. Some they stop the connection, some are interested, some give contacts. Like in real life.
So I am sure there might be some or a lot of girls who are not serious there, but if a man apply few rules is very easy to avoid any surprise. Overall I like to use the site and - guess what - my financial exposure towards Anastasia date per month is less than the price of romantic dinner for 2 in my city. Of course it is, because I do not chat with 5 girls at the same time or exchange letters with 10. I select and move forward with a lady only if she gives from the beginning clear signs to be serious.
Hope this view helps, I do not have any reason so far to complain, we just need to exercise good sense, as in everything we do in life.
Hi. I realize this is an old post. But I have to agree with it. See, I met a woman on the site. She sent me a letter, I read it, sounded like spam, ignored her. 3 days later another letter, read it, ignored it. 2 days later same thing, It was the 4th letter that got my attention. She asked why I ignored her, she was not looking for instant marriage, wanted to know each other, build trust and see what happened.
Well, I responded explaining why I ignored her letters. Well, I seen her Chat Request pop up a few days later and I figured why not. Well, turns out when the chat window opened it started streaming a video. I figured great, now I am spending more money. Well, she was exactly like her pictures. We chatted for a while, laughed a bit, she asked how much time we had left? I asked why, she said I should save them for our next chat. That threw me.
To make a long story short. We chat for 5 months. Then, out of the blue, she said we had to meet. I thought here we go. She invited me to Ukraine Ok, not what I expected. We planned it, 5 months later I went. I was looking to catch a cab to an apartment rental she helped me with and I heard my name called from behind (she is very advanced in English), there she was. She said she thought it would be easier for her to pick me up at the airport than trying to explain to driver the address (I couldn't pronounce the street) she said and cheaper too. She actually said all this as she jumped into my arms, wrapped her legs around my waist and giving me kisses on the cheek. Well, I stayed 10 days as planned. She took vacation time from work to spend with me, had dinner at her parents home (they didn't speak English) but were great hosts and were finally happy to meet me. Well, I won her father over by doing some minor repairs to their home even though he insisted me not to. I am a carpenter by trade.
After seeing each other everyday, we took 1 day to just relax and catch our breath. About 8pm, knock on the door, it was her father. I thought, WTF? Hwas saying something, in a calm voice and laughed, then I heard 3 women laughing in the hall, i looked out, it was her, her mother and her sister. I asked with a smile what was so funny? She proceeded to tell me what her father was trying to tell me and that not to take it seriously that he been drinking. He was pretty much telling me that I needed to be with his daughter, I was a good man, good worker and all. I invited them in, we sat for about an hour, they left and it was just her and I.
Well 6 months after I returned back home to U.S. We left the site together, I set her up a Skype, email each other, phone calls, even written letters in the mail with pictures. We were on Skype, she asked when would I have more free time that she would like to visit me here. I said whenever was good for her, how much money do I need to send her. She said, nothing, her family helped her with what she didn't have. Well we planned it, she arrived, and we been doing the back and forth thing for almost a year and a half now. She even helped me get a permanent residency permit so now i stay with her when i visit. I plan to ask the question to her very soon, already have the families blessing and permission, just need hers I guess.
So the site worked for me. Not every woman there with sexy pictures is a scam. She didn't have half naked pictures, tasteful ones, plus it was her eyes i liked. So New Years this year I will spend with her and I will ask her to marry me. Wish me luck!

I seriously suspect that the ladies get paid for correspondence or that someone is writing as someone else. I know someone who is 65 and wants a woman under the age of 36 and gets much response from 18 and 20 year olds. Should I actually believe that a woman that young would marry a man old enough to be her grandfather? Would they be that desperate to leave their own country and become a US citizen...or maybe they figure that they will find someone better and divorce the man that gets them here!

I fully agree that the agencies in Ukraine are a scam, and in fact, I feel that AnastasiaDate is the king of scams. I have many stories including women who in fact told me they are getting paid by the agency. A guilt complex that made them tell me when they realized they really liked me and not just a money making proposition.

I went to see her in her home city, Odessa, oh, but now she lives in Nikolaev and I need to pay $120 USD to get her to Odessa, and the same to return, plus $20/hr interpreter fees. I found many of the girls I spoke with on vk.com, many of the girls have profile on vk.com.

I don't know you are real know the life in Ukraine and in Russia and how it work there. I know and live there many times. Not more then 5% of all the woman that in the dating sites think in real to leave her country. What the other women want is very easy, make some money for his pocket with a easy work.
Very clear for me is also now that there many agents that also do the work when the woman is at work or in the school. You should meet some agents in the towns of the Ukraine. I have many interviews with woman how it work. We try to find out more about this structure and after we will present this the competent public prosecutor's Office in the town where the company are registered, after we will see. All this cheaters are US companies, the hosting of all this pages is ever done far from USA, you can check this very easy.
What here is practiced is organised, professionally scam, this is not only my opinion, are the facts that shown. It is for me also very clear that no Internet platform can say she did not know that, it has been made all of our agents on the ground so and we not know all this.

Well, than I met a girl who was working in the local international dating agency, partner of Anastasia. She told me that she needs to write and send hundreds of e-mails every day, trying to make new members and to have chat with them. She receives percentage from payments. Also I found many ads in the local press, where girls are invited to work in chat with foreigners. Also there are special people in the agencies, who write very emotional letters about love and relationship.
Than I studied other international dating sites with Russian/Ukrainian girls. I found out that most popular girls usually have very provocative pictures. I mean that girl in underwear takes your attention more than girl in dress. There are many topless girls. Believe me I grew up and live in Ukraine, I am young and beautiful, but not me not any of my friends can not let provocative pictures appear in the Internet. It will be very bad if somebody from this list will see her in underwear (or topless or nude) in the Internet dating site. It can completely destroy professional and personal reputation (I take a teacher for example, but it is true about doctors, clerks, managers and so on). Who don't care? Interesting, in the 1st case it seems like someone (an agency) is trying to scam Anastasia.
The 2nd case, I have never seen nudity on Anastasia, and if you have used the site for 3 years, then I suppose you must agree with me that you have never seen nudity too. As for the comment regarding match.com, I suppose they don't have the resources to police scammers like Anastasia do.
Oh I've seen PLENTY of nudity. on Anastasia, especially on AsianDate.com... The women there throw themselves at you, well, I should say the translators / handlers that write the letters for these women and chat posing as them do. And in many cases the provocative pictures that they sent aren't even the same women...

I come back to my last comment 2 days before. We still work to find out more about this PREMIUM SCAM dating site anastasiadate.com. As I told in my last comment this site scam all men to make only money. It is not my interest to talk about woman that use this dating page to scam men, that is normal in every dating site and for sure anastasiedate.com can’t take the responsible for that (anastasiadate.com is only the platform to bring the product (WOMEN) into the market), this first is part of the agents that connected with anastasiadate.com and deliver the women, this people has to take care that this scammers not get entrée in this site.
Our intension is to stop this scam anastasiadate.com himself and start one official investigatıon against this site. We check this page now at least 18 hours per day with 4 computers and profiles and we understand more and more how this scammer software is working. The women play only a very uninteresting part in all this. We also very sure that in chats and emails maybe the women know nothing that she (the profiles) also be only used, to make profit for anastasiadate.com
I will travel to the Ukraine again and meet some women and also agencies from anastasiadate.com again to find out more. All this is not so easy many women not speak some word English and all need ever a translator.
What we all can’t understand is the following: There are many American guys that cry that she was cheated and nobody do something. We are European guys and no one from use was cheated from this US dating site, we hate only how other people cheated from this dating site and that’s why we invest money and effort to stop this.

You should report immediately to AnastasiaDate.com. This is serious. Of course there are going to be cases where girls and even local agencies get together to try to defraud AnastasiaDate but this is not the picture across all of Ukraine and Russia.
