unauthorised credit card charges

24 hours ago, while I was chatting to a girl in Caracas, the site suddenly took 299 pounds sterling, which is about $350, from my account in payment for a "gift" to the said girl. They sent her some childish sticker of a songbird.

Three times the site tried to seize 299 pounds from my credit card account. Twice they were blocked but the third time they were successful.

My credit card account has been cancelled. A new account will be set up this weekend.

I ask for the refund of my 299 pounds. The ironic thing is that the girl in Caracas and I were getting very close. I would very much like to stay in contact with her. If I get my refund I will certainly do so.

how to cancel my membership, how to get contact the seller?

Hello, i have a membership on AmoLatina.com what is a datingsite, but i don't needed it anymore, because i found my woman where i live.
But before i started to look how to delete my profile, i saw on my bank account the monthly payment. So i refunded the money back, but then i realised that i had to refund the money trough my PayPal account.
Because of that i can't fully access my account anymore.
That payment was 7 november but i refunded on my bank on the 11th of november. PayPal help desk say contact the seller that was: [protected]@datingcomgroup.com but they never contacted me back. Because the monthly payments i made for my account on Amolatina.com went to them. So how to delete my profile and cancel my membership on AmoLatina.com. But also how to get in contact with [protected]@datingcomgroup.com to stop my monthly payments to them?
My profile name on Amolatina.com is Thomaswantsex.

Datingservice

I have been using the amolatina website to date latin women for about 4 years and spent a substantial amount of money.
You have to pay to chat and to open letters and pictures plus a monthly subscription fee of 10 dollars.
The site was "updated" in january 2017. You no longer find any information about the company and where they are located. It has been made much more difficult to keep track of letters and contacts - instead you are bombarded with requests to chat from beautiful women from around the globe. This new setup has gradually made me realize that the only focus of the site is to make money - and only that. I used to think the idea was to make money and provide a service to help people meet.
In other words - it`s a scam. For obvious reasons!
As long as the site can make you believe (they are very good at it) that you might eventually - after months and years of chatting - meet a lovely woman, the site has no interest in giving you the opportunity to exchange contact details with a woman.
Lately I have asked some women, if they want to exchange concact details after they have said, they are interested in me, but after a few attempts to speak about something else (Previous bad experiences etc. Etc.), she will say, I have offended her, because I don`t trust her. Even though I made it clear to her, I just want to know, who I am talking to.
So guys my advice is to spend your money on air tickets and hotels - not on amolatina!
Nb! Amolatina has several sister sites which cover the globe: yourtravelmates.com, asian beauties.com, anastasia.com to mention a few - they are all about the same thing!

Complete Rip-off

I have been on this site for approximately five days now and it is virtually impossible to get beyond chatting, which in and of itself is very expensive. They claim about $.70 per credit which they claim is equivalent to one minute, but that is a complete lie. I purchased 80 credits on several different occasions so that I could continue my conversation/chat with the girl and I never got more than 40 minutes. So, their claims regarding the value of their credits is greatly exaggerated. They also block any attempts to exchange contact information, such as phone numbers and/or emails. In essence, you become a captive of their site with little or no ability to ever advance a relationship. In short, the owners of this site are strictly in it for the money and have no interest in helping you actually finding and meeting someone. If I were to characterize their site in a single phrase, it would be "criminal enterprise and a complete scam".

If you cannot afford to be on our site, you should not be on our site. It is a premium site and not free. If you wish to find love on a budget site, you should look for a different service within your price range. Good luck to you.

The site is hardly a rip off. We have more than 25 years experience and millions of members. The reality is you cannot afford it and being critical because of it. That is bogus and unfounded claims at the very least. Wish you better luck using the traditional method of meeting people in real life...might be cheaper in your case. Our site is a premium site and in my years of experience...you need to invest in your future to be happy.

@osoluckyme - it is easy to make false claims like you just did online without any facts. As a researcher you should know better...we deal with trolls from time to time that are paid to publish fake reviews. I suggest you join the site if you are a REAL researcher.

how about instead of putting the guy down as "not being able to afford the site", you actually respond to some of his accusations. because i've been a member on and off for years, and i've had the EXACT same experience! i've spent THOUSANDS in total, and have yet to obtain a SINGLE woman's contact information! it's one thing for you to make it difficult (i don't agree with how far you take it, but i get it...it's a business, you're trying to make money), but these girls are clearly trained to deflect attempts to make contact with them outside the website. i've had the same experiences. i talk with a girl for a good long while, spending plenty in the process. she'll go on and on about how much she likes me, so eventually i'll ask about communicating off-site. it's always the same reply. "i need to feel safe", "i need to be confident that you're my man", or some other [censor]. how is it safer to use Amolatina versus regular email?!? and when i ask how long this will take to make her "confident", i get no answer. when i finally get frustrated enough to really press the issue, the lady just gets angry and blows me off. this same routine has happened to me SEVERAL times. which translates to me that Amolatina is not just a cold-hearted business, but an outright scam! (sometimes i have doubts that i'm even talking to the woman in the pics. or perhaps they all receive a cut of our money under the arrangement that they keep us chatting endlessly on the site.)
it's also true about how the changes they made to the website last year make it difficult to get any information or keep track of your correspondences. like he said, you're merely bombarded with requests to chat. the "Date Me" feature is now gone, as is the "Phone-call service". so now, the ONLY way to exchange info with a lady is to send her a gift or flowers and put your info in the card. i tried this once. the lady flipped out on me for not sending the right flowers. i apologized profusely, and begged her to contact through the email i sent her. she claimed she did, but i never received it. we went back and forth about this for a while, she said maybe i wrote it wrong (i knew i didn't, believe me, i triple-checked). i asked her to double check that SHE didn't make a mistake in the address...and do you know what she said? SHE ALREADY THREW OUT THE NOTE! this is the woman who was crazy about me and so anxious to start her life with me?!? and of course, i couldn't send it to her again in the chat, because they'd block it out...even though i'd already paid to send it to her!!!
So please, Mr. Vasquez, i'd love to hear your excuses and explanations for this one. Are you going to tell me i can't afford the site either and should find something cheaper? is thousands of dollars really not enough to spend in order to have ONE woman's contact info?!?

Fake profiles, bad customer service

The site is a scam from start to finish What is worse they steal money. Without authorization once they have your card details they repeat debit without any pre-advice notice so before you know it you have run up several hundred dollars. Avoid the chat at all costs. You are talking to an operator not the girl. With letters it is hit and miss but try to arrange a meeting. They will find all sorts of ways for avoiding one or delaying it to keep on corresponding and costing you. You may get the same operator or another. At short intervals I got two different ones. When I challenged by asking the girl's birth place which she had stated in a letter I got two different answers - Valencia in Spain or Ukraine! When I challenged this the operator hung up. Another girl after 20 letters said she had found a man from California and could not continue. 12 months later she is still o line chatting or at least her cyber persona and photos are. Only one girl I corresponded with and was hot for eventually wrote and thanked me for my letters and left the site. As you can read on this site Amolatina and Anastasia are wholly scams. If you lodge a serious complaint they do not reply and their contact phone number does not work.

Amolatina tried fraudulently to charge my card more than I authorized, which at the time was a special they ran for $2.99, lucky I pre blocked any extra charges other than the $2.99, my CC processor said they tried to authorize $25.40 US off my card and they tried automatically over 100X lol, they got NO $ from me. And when I called to ask why they were trying to get so much more $ than what was agreed to: $2.99/ they said it was for card verifying and it will be returned to me same day! BS! ... Try "loveme.com " they have an excellent reputation, and been around for decades. I've used them before and met real beautiful latinas in person in Costa Rica ! Then been on TV shows too! Like Dr. Phil etc. Excellent reputation!

Hi Tim. The 2.99 charge was a recent innovation and is a trick because you end up being 'autobilled' renewals without ever knowing till you get your monthly statement. You were sapient to pre-block your card. I post blocked my Amex card for $300. Anastasia date runs in exactly the same way. Not one of the profiles I tried was genuine. An acquaintance of mine runs LatinEuro which only charges a modest once only fee for an address and then lets you get on with contact with the girls. He too confirmed that the Russian owned family of sites of which Amolatina was one were totally fraudulent.

That is tame compared to my experience. I spent thousands on chat with different ladies at 1 credit per minute (about 80 cents) it sneaks up on you . you buy 16 or 30 dollars in credits and it goes quick. You get 20 credits for $15.99 and if you go video chat it runs you 6 credits a minute. so I had been burned by chatting one girl who seemed completely genuine. We chat a few hours a week for months. When I finally had time in my schedule and could plan a trip to visit her in Colombia I told her and she told me she needed to know me better( basically she wanted to chat more). I wrote it off and avoided the site. I have a trip planned to Colombia so I figured I'd try again. This time different girls. Yes they were all incredibly interested and thrilled I was planning on coming to Colombia until... Until I started making plans to actually meeting. They were talking marriage and promising the world until I tried to nail down a specific meeting time and place. I had 2 that I had spent hundreds of dollars chatting with that I planned to meet. One in Cali and one in Bogota. The one in Cali could not recommend a place to meet. When I pressed for a place to meet she did not know it. I told her I have a Limo hired and needed to tell the driver where to pick her up and she changed the subject to sex. I then pulled up a map of Cali and asked here if she knew any of the major roads and she did not know any of them.
I assume she is in a completely other city if not country. The girl in Bogota, she was telling me she loved me and we were planning our future. She was planning to get a passport so she could join me. She was excited to learn to drive a car and we talked about our families and how she was concerned about how my family would accept her. Everything to lead me to believe this was a girl very interested in a permanent relationship. I had requested a meeting with her thru the site and told her she had to send me 4 emails. I didn't get the emails and got a little concerned. I booked a hotel in her city for the date I had told her we were going to meet and told her what hotel She responded it was good hotel in the city center and a good location. I then pressed for the 4 emails to meet via the service and she told me she needed more time. Now this on it's own is plausible but not with the level of intimate conversation we had the day before. Yes, one might call it cold feet, but I promise you, after months of very intimate chat this was simply not the case. If I had only had this happen once I could say it was an anomaly but I promise you, these girls are aggressive until you go for a real meeting. I had read someone post that he had met girls from the site. I bet that post was from an employee of the site. The owner is getting filthy rich off honest people. This is a total scam. I was taken to the tune of thousands of dollars. I am embarrassed, I got fooled.

Hi, I am so sorry to read about your experience... I have evidence to prove the profiles are fake and it has been shared with the Anastasiadate.com the parent company of Amolatina.com and a formal complaint is in hand with the better business bureau in New York which is where the headquarters of Amolatina.com are located... I will give the website another week to confirm they have apologised to the members in question for the deception and provided a refund or I will instigate proceedings against the website.. I believe the amolatina.com website earned $4M USD last year and given the low cost of operating the profiles and hosting the website it is a very lucrative business..

False dating site with 0 seriousness

Extremely well designed to look like a serious dating Site (the one that in theory women look for husbands, not sex) offers beautiful Latina ladies in theory looking for serious relationships. I entered for two reasons: curiosity and some belief that it could be real. Well, it is not. Guys, if you look for the illusion of a virtual beautiful and loving girlfriend and do not mind to throw away 500 to 800 dollars, go for it, otherwise stay super away from the Site. Don't fall for the pictures, chats and letters, that lady is not who you think it is. On the other hand, the operators read and check every picture, letter, chat; whatch out. Learn, NO BEAUTY LIKE THOSE GIRLS, NEEDS INTERNET TO FIND A GOOD LOVER. This is not a USA based Company but clearly target USA lonely hearts, because is not USA, the authorities probably cannot do anything. Don't fall for it unless you want a cyber love only and doesn't care about mone.
