I love animals. I have taken care of 13 of the little darlings, even including one who would bite. Of the dogs, 2 were purchased, 3 were given (rehomed,) 1 was found in the wild and 5 were adopted from local animal shelters and an all volunteer rescue group. Two kittens were taken in from the outside and given a forever home. It breaks my heart to think that so many animals do not have the care that my crowd of animals received.
Now the complaint. I cannot in good conscience continue to donate to a charity organization whose director receives in excess of a million dollars as base salary and bonuses and incentives if the reported information is correct. That being the case, I don't want to be a burden to the ASPCA in any way, so, would you please stop sending mail and your ASPCA magazine? I will be redoing my will in a couple of weeks to include the groups with where I have gotten some of my pets. Then will still be remembered, just not the national organization.
Sincerely,
/s/George W Smith
