American Medical Association [AMA] psychiatry

Dr. Tiffany Andry:

1. You can't talk to her directly

2. She does not return calls

3. When you do leave a message they say it will take 24 to 48 hours

4. She does not call before 48 hours

5. Her office people do not make reminder calls or text messages

6. When you miss this appointment, she will not refill your prescriptions and won't call you back to tell you why

7. It took me 5 days to find out on a Friday afternoon to tell me she would never write my controlled substance prescriptions again. Because I was so desperate I said was going to have to take a half a bottle of meds to calm my self down. That was her excuse (way out) of having to work with me again.

8. She is arrogant and rude and talks down to you

9. She says she will do something and never does it

10. I have never, ever felt this strongly about a medical provider in my life.

11. DO NOT GO TO THIS PROVIDER, DR, TIFFANY ANDRY

Desired outcome: She basically kept saying the same thing to me and that she would not help me so I said goodbye

American Medical Association [AMA] Hospital lost my denture

The patient advocacy was notified of my denture being lost. It happened on March 18, 2022. I had an iv line come apart and soak my bed, the last thing I remember about having my teeth was that I took them out to rinse them and being on pain medication did not remember what was done with them. I think they were lost in the bed covers. I have been recovering at home, not able to eat solid foods and have lost about 15 lbs. I don’t have the resources to purchase new dentures, the hospital is not returning my emails or phone calls.

Desired outcome: Hospital to reimburse for missing denture. Approximately $2,200.

American Medical Association [AMA] Doctor negligence

I am contacting you regarding Dr. Marc Cohen, Anderson, Indiana (NPI [protected]). As a provider and medical professional myself, I am APPALLED at the unprofessionalism of this doctor and his staff. After repeated attempts at getting an physical office appointment with this doctor, I am finally told over a year later that he has decided he is no longer taking office appointments, hasn't for over a year, and will only be taking telehealth appointments. To see another doctor at this practice will take months and I have a probable brain tumor on my pituitary and was supposed to have a 'telehealth' conference with him today, May 24, 2022 at 10:20 a.m. to address the issue. I waited and waited and waited and after several calls to his office to find out what was going on, I was told that he attempted to call me several times and that he would have to call me WHENEVER HE COULD. My phone number has not changed in YEARS and upon looking up reviews online regarding his service and practice, I've found that he has neglected patients consistently to THEIR harm.

They and their children, from the online reviews, seem to fall victim to his outward laziness and lack of interest in providing proper care. Recently, his services have been removed from practicing at Community Hospital, Anderson, so he is providing telehealth care without an actual practice or at least one hospital affiliation he states that he has affiliation. I also want him sanctioned financially for the patients that have had and filed complaints against him.

In at least one case I have found myself, a child with disabilities was dismissed completely in his issues with seizures BECAUSE HE WAS DISABLED and his parents were told by DR. COHEN that the child's that the seizures were behavioral. In another instance, a patient was told that the medical record in front of him had too many pages to read and that he was going to re-prescribe a medication that the patient already had issues with (https://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-marc-cohen-3y54k). It's ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS that I may now have a death sentence because I've been asking him for a brain scan for OVER TWO YEARS NOW and I've been put off and told it's a medication issue. My GYN has run the tests and ruled all other things out - A GYNECOLOGIST!

Desired outcome: I want he and the office he associates with (Central Indiana Neurology) removed from providing services to HIP, or other Medicare persons, and his license to provide care revoked.

American Medical Association [AMA] Medical provider at rome medical group

I would like to request assistance in filing a formal complaint against my sons Medical Practice and provider. My son has underlying medical conditions, and is considered immunocompromised. As such, his School District offers remote learning with a doctors note about his conditions. However, I have been chasing his provider for this for weeks, and they are refusing to provide a note indicating his medical conditions, which include asthma, and that puts him at higher risk for contracting Covid and the delta strain. Accordingly, as they refuse to write a note, he is missing out on his education and this is impacting his ability to learn and develop. My son would be a candidate for online learning as he has had asthma since age 2, and has been considered an atopic child since birth, starting with severe eczema from head to toe at 2 months old, and then allergies, followed by asthma. A common cold has my son down for weeks, and we have had many ambulance trips to the ER during his life where is he unable to breath and often requires medical intervention as his nebulizer doesn't always work. Contracting the virus may put him in the hospital or worse, and I am unable to get the assistance I need to keep him alive without impeding his education. The office refuses to go through his medical records from his former pediatric office to see relevant details. My son also sees a pulmonologist, allergist and dermatologist. He has been a patient with Rome medical group for only a few years, however, his former office sent all his medical records to their office. The nurse practioner called me and was apathetic and callous, suggesting I send my son to essentially his death and advised she would not write a note or fill out the schools form required by the State. His records reflect his conditions, visits and history. Historically, my son has always missed a lot of school when in person, as a common cold has him home with breathing complications. Remote learning is the best option for my son & safest for his conditions.

Desired outcome: I would like for Rome Medical Group to dispense the proper and required note so my son can safely attend remote learning without risking his life to go to in person school.

American Medical Association [AMA] misled by surgery skills and last minute dates cancelled

I am really upset by how my condition was handled over the last few months by Dr. Sean Egan, his staff and the Riverside Medical Group in NJ.

The first few years while on medications with Dr Egan for my condition was fine (although consistent was the less than helpful office staff). I had been trying to schedule a procedure for FOUR months and was forced to find a new urologist. My surgery was cancelled THREE times only 24 hours before each date and after running around to get 3 Covid tests 48hrs prior. Each time, no warning, just a call by Riverside Medical (Liza, Dr Egan's Office mgr, never even bothered to get back to me!) the day before (after they even sent me to a COVID testing site that was CLOSED!)

Each time I was lied to (by both Dr Egan's office and Riverside staff) about not having the proper "machine/equipment" that they supposedly contract out from another vendor (what?!? made no sense to my new Dr either). I also knew something was fishy when Egan could only do this when "another doctor" was available (he obviously is not doing the surgery). Also, they gave many excuses as to why my medical records could not be forwarded to the new doctor ("it's out of our hands, has to come from Riverside's HQ, their fax was broken"...seriously?)!

My new urologist got me in ASAP, did the surgery (Urolift) with a quick recovery which SHOULD have been administered by Dr. Egan. I want to file a formal complaint, thus my first step with this post.

Please direct me to the proper contact.

American Medical Association [AMA] Unprofessional mistreatment and misconduct of a physician

Date of Incident: July 06, 2021
Appointment time: 1:30 p.m.
Office address: 101 Madison Ave, Suite 304, Morristown, NJ
Phone: [protected]
Reason for Visit: DEFENSE MEDICAL EXAM
Doctor: Edward M. Decter, MD

Incident: My husband and I arrived 10 mins early, I signed in and filled out paperwork. About 5 mins later the nurse, called me back and I asked if my husband could accompany me (he vaccinated) however the nurse said its not possible. So I said, "I need to call my lawyer real quick. She was fine with it, however, 2 mins later the doctor barrels out into the hallway, and starts loudly telling me if I don't get myself in the this second, I'm [censored] out of luck cause he'll refuse to see me. I said I'm just reaching out to my lawyer, to where he gets 1 foot from my face stating I don't give a [censored] what your lawyer says, I run this show. So I hung up and went in against my better judgement. At this point, I was left in the exam rm for 44 mins, door open and I could hear him on the phone talking about me, my case and parts of my personal medical file. Eventually, he comes in and just starts barking questions at me that had nothing to do with my neck surgery and car accident. Examples...my hysterectomy, kidney stones etc never asking me what happened in the accident, to end with neck surgery. The only form of examination was him sitting in his chair, across the room, telling me to walking forward and back once and move my neck all directions once. He never once examined me hands on. And the rest of the visit he just kept asking if i was a vaccination nazi and if I was just so against it and trying to sell me on it. He did tell me to apologize to my husband for be so rude and in his face. He followed it with the statement, that he would have allowed my husband in had he been vaccinated. I told him had they taken the time to ask they would have know he was, he said, oh oh well. Never did he apologize to me, but that's fine too. The nurse did ask me if I wanted her to stay with me and I said please, she stated no problem you're not the first. I left the office and went straight to my lawyers in tears because I've never been treated like that or spoken to as well.

Desired outcome: Some form of disciplinary action.

American Medical Association [AMA] Service from a doctor

Finally got a return call today 7/1/2021 from Dr Kevin Lax of Doyelstown Health at Holy Reedemer Hospital 1650 Huntingdon Pike Suite 258 Meadowbrook, Pa 19046 re my husband Edward C. Weiler. He was on speaker phone and seemed totally distracted. I could hear him walking away from the phone and doing something else. I answer his questions and the he repeated them when I said I just answered them he got angry. He mentioned that my husband had an abnormal result to a test and I asked what do we do. No real answer. I gave him my of my husbands blood pressure readings and they said they were good. I said it goes up and down and he is on 8 salt tablets a day and I don't think that is right. Again he had no answer. He then said we don't had a working relationship and to find another doctor. Meanwhile my husband keeps having these episodes.

Desired outcome: Info as to what can be done. at [protected]@aol.com

American Medical Association [AMA] Coding for a procedure

I had to have a cystoscopy because the doctor found blood in my urine on two consecutive tests. My primary doctor sent me to a urologist who sent me for a CT scan and scheduled me for the cystoscopy. He explained to me that it was a simple procedure where they go up through the urethra into the bladder with a camera. You are wide awake no anesthesia possibly a local in the area but that was all.
I pay $170 a month for my health insurance. When I arrived at the doctors office for this procedure I was charged a $40 co-pay. That led me to believe that that was my responsibility for this procedure. I then received a statement from federal Blue Cross Blue Shield advising me of what they paid. Their portion of the bill was $79.87. That's it! that's all they paid out of over $400. My responsibility is the $170 I pay for this insurance monthly plus the $40 co-pay plus another bill of a $110 making my total contribution $320 Blue Cross Blue Shield paid less than $80. When I called the billing department about the bill they sent me I was told it's because of the coding that is set by the American medical Association. They have this procedure coded as a SURGERY! This procedure is no more than a Pap smear done in a regular doctors office with no anesthesia no utensils other than the camera no knives no cutting no incisions nothing that even remotely resembles a surgery! And I am FURIOUS! This is nothing more than an attempt to blatantly rip off the American people. THERE IS ZERO JUSTIFICATION FOR CONSIDERING THIS SIMPLE PROCEDURE A SURGERY! This coding needs to be changed and it needs to be changed now, yesterday, immediately! I am not paying this bill you people can pay this bill the American medical Association can pay this bill because I'm not. How do you even consider it remotely fair that I would pay three times more than the insurance that I pay for every single month? The AMA is nothing but another government organization that takes advantage of poor people. Who gives the AMA the authority to make these decisions clearly the money isn't coming out of their pocket! I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and I do not have the money to spend $170 a month for an insurance policy and then get hit with a bill for an extremely simple procedure that's three times as much as the insurance covers. the American medical Association is a disgrace to this nation and this authority needs to be taken away from them! They are not suited to make these decisions. Please I want someone to justify to me how you consider this even remotely close to a surgery because it there is not one single thing about this procedure that you could remotely say resembles a surgery. This is nothing more than robbery! Entire government should be ashamed of themselves you do not care about the American people you only care about stuffing your own disgustingly greedy pockets. And you think the American people are stupid trust me we're not we can see what Obamacare did to our healthcare we can see that Obama care was nothing more than a way to get the working people to pay for every single person who doesn't work and I am sick to death of it! I worked my entire life and I can't enjoy retirement because I can't afford the [censored]ing medical bills!
Change the coding on all and every single medical procedure that you are trying to rip off the American people with. If it's not done in a place that does surgery if it doesn't require anesthesia if there are no knives no cutting no stitches involved it's not a [censored]ing surgery! FIX IT!

Desired outcome: CHANGE THE CODING

American Medical Association [AMA] Never listened to me when I told him I had a thyroid specialist, he misdiagnosed me.

March 2020. Had a follow up visit to review blood work. He lost his temper and told me to stop taking everything I was taking for my thyroid. Told me my thyroid specialist wasn't a doctor, and ordered me to stop taking everything!
Dr. John Patterson had been my doctor for 4 years. He misdiagnosed the thyroid condition. Sent me to an Endocrinologist who never saw me before and wanted to surgically remove my thyroid. Surgery was unnecessary. There are reasons we have the organs we have and surgery is the last resort. Once I began treatment with my thyroid specialist I informed him. I have been doing well taking a natural supplement. I did not stop as he ordered, I did cut back. And after a year now, began to feel some symptoms again. I started taking the original dosage of my supplement to what I had been taking and I am fine.
Dr. John Patterson should never tell anyone to stop cold turkey. He never knew what to do about the thyroid condition. I want to heal naturally. I do not take any prescription drugs for anything, He should not judge something he doesn't know anything about. I felt he no longer cared about me as a patient or as a person. I would like an apology, and he should not handle anyone with a thyroid condition. He is no longer my PCP doctor.

Sincerely,
Debra K Norris

American Medical Association [AMA] Doctor's practice/staff

The following incident took place on March 24th 2021 at the East Northport office of Dr. Jennifer McMonigle DO. Neurologist. Clearance had to be obtained to have my colonoscopy due to a recent TIA.

I had 2 visits with Dr. McMonigle, 2/25 for testing and 3/15 for results, with a follow up scheduled for May. Upon picking up the report, I immediately noticed ALZHEIMERS DISEASE in capitol letters. Reading further into the report, I discovered numerous misinformation and incongruity.

1 area says I have a bilateral hearing loss, which is true, and another part says SNHL of right ear with unrestricted hearing in left ear. Also said I have short term memory issues and next page says, "memory OK"

The report says tele-visit which it was not and then said "patient was unable to return to the office since 3/15 visit." This is untrue as the doctor went over results with my husband and myself, indicating mostly WNL, but suggested baby aspirin . There was no need to return until a follow-up appointment scheduled for May.

The disturbing part came after I went back to the office to find out where they obtained this incorrect information, and was greeted by a very cavalier and disrespectful staff. I left without my copy of the erroneous findings. Returning 5-8 minutes later, they could/would not give it back to me stating it was deleted. Moreover, I was advised that they were unable to give me my report as it became "their property" when I showed them and left it there. The attitude when I went back again with my husband was rude and disrespectful ;ignoring me at the front desk as I made eye contact with the front desk girl. I was upset and raised my voice and they asked my husband and I to leave. When I said I need some answers, the PA said "call 911" We were flabbergasted. It was uneccessary and avoidable. The report was unsigned with numerous spelling errors as well.

Other untruths were evident regarding the 4 MRIs I was asked to do, when the report said "patient defers MRI of lumbar spine. I had scripts for brain, head, carotids and cervical spine. Also reported, "patient denies lower back pain." I was not told to do MRI of lumbar area and I have had back issues for 30 years..why would deny it?

I left word twice for the doctor to call me and she did not.
Of all the doctors I have encountered during my cancer diagnosis of lymphoma and spending 2020 with chemo and hydration treatments, as well as 4 monthly spinal injections, I never came upon a disturbing incident such as this. This is no way to treat a patient. Yes, I raised my voice as nobody was looking or listening to me.

I asked for a private discussion so as not to do it in waiting area, but that was denied.

In closing, I just want to say that I should have checked the reviews on this office first, as I came across other negative remarks. I filed a grievance with my insurance company as well.

What happens now?

American Medical Association [AMA] Dr. Barbara Anne Spinelli, Sutter Roseville Medical Center, California

The absolute worst. Showed her the rash on my neck and shoulder and she said he didn't see anything. Showed her pictures I had taken days previously and she said 'that was a terrible photographer' (said this 3 times). Said she did not see anything on the pictures. All my friends and family were concerned because of the severity of the rash. They suggested I go to urgent care. She acted like she was afraid to get close to me. Finally admitted there was a problem, but didn't have a clue what it might be. Told me 'if that is a reaction to the vaccination, then if you get covid19 you're going to die!'. Told me this 3 times! Left feeling like I have been terrorized, assaulted. She made a referral to another doctor and left the room without any parting salutation. Just exited the room. This is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. Left feeling that she did not know what she was doing. Very unprofessional. Had to google her to make sure she Was indeed a doctor. I will never go back there again.

American Medical Association [AMA] Dr. Caroline Rao - Durham NC VAMC

Dr Rao assumed the position of the chief of dermatology in December 2019. She was assigned my case at that time. When I was seen in December 2019, I was not screened for skin cancer. I was previously screened every six months or sooner if necessary.
From 2005 through December 2019, I only needed two MOES surgeries due to excellent care.
Since Dr Rao assumed the Chief position, my care had suffered to the point I had 4 (four) MORS surgeries between September and October 2020. I was sent to a community provider by Dr Rao. She only authorized treatment fir six (6) months. The community provider (Cary Skin Care Center in Pinehurst) sent numerous requests for continued authorization. They NEVER received any response from Dr Rao or the Durham VAMC. She sent me a letter November 6, 2020 stating she would ensure I received proper care.
Then, without contacting me or Cary Skin Care Center, she transferred my case to Fayetteville VAMC. Fayetteville VAMC does not have a dermatology department. I am service-connected for seven (7) dermatological conditions.
I was sent to Pinehurst Dermatology on January 17, 2021. Four biopsies were performed on March 2, 2021. All were positive for cancer and will be treated on Monday, March 8, 2021.
Dr. Rao told me three (3) times she did NoT read my medical records and then transferred my case, without telling me or the community provider, to a VAMC which does not have a Dermatology Department.
Her lack of providing me appropriate care for skin cancer has resulted in eight (8) surgical procedures. Her lack of treatment for me is totally unacceptable and she should be reprimanded and her medical license should be suspended.
The Durham VAMC is the only VA facility in NC which has a dermatology department and I feel as if she is a liability to Veterans!
In addition, her lack of proper and adequate care has now given me eight scars! These scars from surgeries could have been prevented by adequate and appropriate care.
I am submitting this complaint on my behalf and on behalf of ALL Veterans being treated at the Durham VAMC dermatology department.

Desired outcome: Reprimand and suspension

American Medical Association [AMA] Beyond pediatrics / venture pediatrics refusal to release medical records

10/30/2020 and is ongoing. Pediatricians Luisa Rita Del Castillo and Debra Harmandy refuse to release my daughters medical records to me, her mother. They have instructed the front desk staff to not release them to me. Dr. Rita has offered to release them to my daughters father but will not release them to me and we are not together. When I spoke to her on the phone she told me I had to pick them up in person and pay cash for the records. I was told they were ready for pick up and when I went to the office they refused to give them to me because of a balance on our account, which is illegal and a violation of HIPAA. I went to the office several time and each time they refused and used the excuse of their fax machine was broken. I told them I need them to prove my daughters identity to the social security administration and they told me they would fax them to them which is not possible. They no longer take my calls. I have a new pediatrician that has also requested the medical records and they continue to refuse their release and hang up on them and no longer take their calls. I had an attorney send them a letter with HIPAA authorization to release them but no response and they hung up on her and no longer take their call. This refusal to release the medical records is unethical, dangerous, and is putting my daughters health in danger. IDLH.

Desired outcome: Release medical records to mother

American Medical Association [AMA] Covid 19 vaccinations

Dear AMA,
I am issuing a complaint against the whole Association and those who make the decisions of what the AMA issues concerning protocols and information as well as recommendation concerning the Covid 19 Madera and Pfizer vaccination to the general public as well as thru personal physicians who administer to the public. 1.) Where is the public issued information explaining exactly how these vaccines work in the body to combat Covid 19? 2.) Where is the caution and awareness publications that these 2 vaccines are not FDA approved and the statistics concerning long term effects are still undermined and need taken into consideration before agreeing to the shot? 3.) Where is the infhttps://www.complaintsboard.com/new_complaint/#ormation and explanation to the drug Hydroxychloroquine and why it was accepted as a go to treatment and than suddenly forbidding to to be dispensed by medical doctors and now back on the table as approved? Where is the AMA explanation for such maneuvers and WHY? 4.) where are the peer reviews for wearing mask as to their effect in preventing spread of Covid 19? Where are the statistics complied at current experienced side effects?
These questions have not been answered by the AMA and your silence speaks volumes. If you think this Association will not be challenged as to why you are withholding vital information to your patients please reconsider the the enormity of your current position.

American Medical Association [AMA] Dr. Howard Baruch

As a former patient of Dr. Baruch where he performed a Total Hip Replacement in January of 2009 I wish to file a complaint.
Shortly after the hip replacement I suffered a dislocation. Mutliple phone calls to his office went unanswered and unreturned. I was rushed to a nearby hospital where I had a reduction performed.
Follow-up appointment to Dr. Baruch had him blaming me for the dislocation and he prescribed an expensive hip apparatus. Normal X-rays and the 5 second look were also performed. This followed the normal hour or more wait after the appointment time and the always ready front office with their hands out for the co-pay. Co-pays are very important to Dr. Baruch. $$$$$
This was the norm for his appointments, which continues for some time.
During this time I started experiencing pain in the hip. Often times enough for pain pills. The normal X-ray and inspection revealed nothing Dr. Baruch could discern. On one visit with my wife to his office, she also had rotator cup surgery by him (and, coincidentally, is not that all impressed), I inquired to the pain and was told by his PA it was probably barometric pressure. Seems passing the M-cat is not that difficult.
in August 2015 I suffered another dislocation. This time much more painful. Again repeated calls to his office were never connected with the doctor nor returned. I again was rushed to the hospital where I was immediately put on dilaudid and admitted.
An attempt at a reduction failed. My family and the hospital tried repeatedly to contact Dr. Baruch by phone to no avail.
It was told to me by the attending surgeon as to why the reduction failed, that the cup portion was not originally placed correctly. It was noticed on the x-rays. I was relieved I finally had someone that knew how to read and x-ray.
I lay on my back for 7 weeks before the orthopedic at the hospital agreed to take my case. He also stated that he had spoken to Baruch and Baruch told him he wouldn't be available for me.
The replacement manufacturer was different than the ones used so it took a week or so for the doctor to familiarize and get the insurance approval.
Finally, a Revision was performed.
The surgery did reveal that the only thing holding my leg to my hip was dead skin and that Dr. Baruch had allowed me to walk around on a dislocated hip for years. Also discovered was an infection. I still have bouts with the infection and the cure would be to have the entire hip replacement removed, my leg filled with beads for two weeks and undergo another hip replacement.
Not a pleasant prognosis.
I've undergone two surgeries in 2018 to clean out the infection from my hip area and continue to be treated with anti-biotics and the draining of the liquid from my hip area.
According to the notes from Hackensack UMC little attention following the original hip replacement by Dr. Baruch was given to antibiotic treatment and/or infection prevention in the hospital, at the PT facility, nor out-patient or office visit interventions.
I've been attempting to contact Baruch to get information as to his Medical Malpractice insurance provider. He has not, nor has he allowed his staff to reveal the information.
His staff duly mus-scheduled appointments. Greedily collected co-pays upfront. Dr. Baruch screwed up the hip replacement. Misdiagnosed the issues. Didn't respond to two emergencies. Could care less about his patient (not even a Get Well card), and has cost me time, opportunity, and money.
The medical issues with the original total hip replacement have been relayed to me by my orthopedic doctor. My orthopedic doctor has agreed to stand by his findings.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

American Medical Association [AMA] Karl A. Lozanne,

This complaint is from a long time ago, but after much reflection I feel it is time to have my say.
The surgery was performed at Lexington Medical Center, Lexington SC. The following is what I have I remember and what I have gone through since that day
In a word, I have been in more pain, constant pain since the surgery than I was ever in before surgery
The anesthetist was Dr O'Sullivan. (more about him later)

Jan 21 2011, I had Karl A. Lozanne, perform spinal surgery where he fused my spine from C-3 through C-7 .He went into my neck from the back side. I have been told numerous times since that it is better and widely accepted that going in through the front of neck is much better with less post pain and problems.
After I had been in surgery long enough for Dr.Lozanne, to have opened my neck, the intubation fell out, so Dr had to close and O'Sullivan had to re-intubate me.
Dr O'Sullivan I later learned had been put on medical leave for apparent brain tumor. Shorty after my surgery he was again put on leave after a driving accident. He passed away right after that from tumor.
When Dr.Lozanne, finished I was sent to recovery and then my room with zero orders for pain. I was given Valium. Nothing else.It took several hours to get Dr.Lozanne, to order me a pain med. Only when my family got to point they were going to take me out of hospital and take me someplace I could get care was I given anything. Also When I came to my room my left arm was extremely swollen and was purple color. I was unable to move arm or even hand the whole time I was in hospital, nor for months after.

I still have loss of muscle in L arm.
I still have not gotten any relief for the pain I had surgery for.
On December 21 2011 I went to S.E. Spine Center in Charleston SC and Dr Don Johnson went in through my neck and fused T-1 to C-7.
It was his opinion that this fusion should have been done with first surgery. He also felt it would have been a better outcome had Dr.Lozanne gone through my neck in original operation.

I feel Dr Karl A. Lozanne, failed me as a Dr, failed his oath as a Dr in several areas.
First he should have researched my type surgery and presented me with option of going in front or back and the expected outcomes long term of each. I was never aware of nor given any info to compare which I would choose.
Second, he should have known about the problem with Dr O'Sullivan and IMO not have had him in his OR
Third, he failed my completely post op with no medication nor any other means of control of my considerable pain. I think this had affect on my recovery then, and to this day I think it contributes to ongoing pain.
Fourth, and this is on whole hospital staff, Dr's and PA's
Their failure to address the lack of arm use! Their failure to address this issue caused me months and months of painful rehab, and to this day I still have lost 20% or more use of L arm.

Bottom Line. I will carry this pain and loss to my grave since no one can offer any way to fix what Dr. Karl A. Lozanne, messed up. His failures are my life story

American Medical Association [AMA] seiu local 1 & participating employers health trust

My Son Rodney Holland and his Daughter Yasmine Holland is insured by this Local 25 Union. They both are critical Ill but we cannot get an appointment to see a doctor. Occasionally we can schedule an appointment far in advance but as the date becomes close the appointment gets cancelled they say due to the Con19 virus. August 2018 was the last time we was able to see a doctor for an ultra sound. She cannot eat without getting nausea and having stomach pain. we have had to take her to the Emergencies room hospitals eight times this year. they send her back home because the Medical center will not pay the bill without a doctor referral for which they will not give. They will sometime schedule a telephone call with the doctor (Dr. Michael Flicker). On Nov 9th a call was scheduled but my granddaughter was at the ER and he said he would have someone call her with an appointment. They rarely answer the telephone but I finally got someone who gave an appointment of Nov 19th. I told her my granddaughter was taking a college Final test that day at Northern Ill Univ but if she gave a later time she would drive home for the appointment. Her response was that there was no other date and time for the remainder of 2020. My granddaughter cannot eat without getting sick including chest pains and increase in blood pressure. On Nov. 9th her heart rate was 148, BP was 144/90. she now weights 104 pounds. Please Please help us she is 23 years of age and in her final year of college and barely making it. The doctors there are Quack doctors and work at several hospitals and are not servicing patients. The center is always filthy. but they have no other medical insurance. I have called Dr. Flicker office and the office of the Director of medical referral five times today and cannot get them to answer the telephone. Please help. I can be reached at [protected] or [protected]@aol.com. I am afraid that they will let my granddaughter die.

American Medical Association [AMA] Trios Hospital @ Southridge Kennewick, WA.

I can not wear a paper or cloth mask, because of allergies to dust and mites. I wear a full face shield. Several times this year I have had a hospital admin cancel doctor appoints and testing in this hospital because of the shield. This is very troubling as I have Stomach Cancer and she has denied me treatment. I believe she has my registration information flagged in the computer system and is notified each time I appear at the hospital. It is always the same woman and she will not ID herself to me. Last Friday was the most recent event. There are doctors with specialty clinics within this hospital. This woman has cost me my Family doctor because of her unwillingness to accept the fully approved full face shield. All the other hospitals and clinics and doctors accept this shield, and the dr. I was to see last Friday knew in advance that I would be wearing the shield and his MA and nurse accepted that shield, it is this admin that has a problem wit h it.

American Medical Association [AMA] Failure to suspend the license of Dr Scott Atlas in the covid 19 Task force

Any person with any common sense knows that THE CDC's covid 19 safety procedures are correct. Dr Scott Atlas, advisor to the president, has repeatably argued against wearing a mask, keeping social distancing and inferred that herd immunity would stop the spread of the virus.
The AMA would be derelict in its duty to protect Americans from misinformation that this radiologist spews on FOX news and twitter. Twitter has even censured his false and misleading information why doesn't the AMA?
It would save countless cases of this deadly disease. An stop his reckless misinformation.
