American Family Care review: Urgent care

I was told it'll take about a week to find out if my finger is broken, I received a response on google review to call them back to resolve the issue as I still have yet to receive my results from them.

I did call back today and got confirmation from the staff that it takes a week to get results back, so there is no resolution it appears. Funny enough, I actually got notification on my end from Modesto Radiology that results were available, but when I relayed this information I was told oh maybe they don't have our fax number and we didn't get it. I had to ask several times to get someone to offer to even try checking with Modesto Radiology about this.

To further elaborate the point when I went into Modesto Radiology, the paperwork was not filled out correctly at the time (7/28, Tuesday morning) and I had to call their office to have them talk to the receptionist at Modesto Radiology to correct the information. When I took the xrays the radiologist was also concerned that my hand was already in a soft cast before xrays were taken and said results might be hard to decipher.

I went to a different urgent care this morning (7/31) and got results the same day which confirmed my finger is in fact broken, which doesn't appear to be the determination from the xrays taken on Tuesday morning, likely due to the concerns of the radiologist.

Staff continued to gas light me about the situation and offered no apology. This series of events with a more serious ailment would likely constitute medical malpractice. If I didn't follow my own intuitions and seek an alternative urgent care solution I would have opened myself up to serious permanent damage on my fractured finger. Avoid this urgent care.
