AMC Theatres review: Godzilla vs Kong IMAX Screening

Hey AMC, I took my family to go see the new Godzilla movie as my wife loves Godzilla and my son loves Kong. As soon as the movie started 4 women (more like teenagers) in front of us we're all on their phones and talking up a storm. I politely asked them if they could stop and they continually threatened to beat us up snd shoot us. They kept saying "you don't pay her phone bill, so shut up" like the pre movie thing you guys screen doesn't say to "not talk, don't text, don't ruin the movie" I really just want to go to the theater to enjoy a night out with my family. But I get harassed like this. They actually waited til we got all the way out of the theater and followed us all around the building. It got to the point where they wouldn't leave and they were screaming at us so much that like 10 employees came over and still they weren't telling them to leave. Had to have mall security escort us to our car and they still pulled up in their car when we were walking out of the theater and threw trash and stuff at us. This happened at the AMC Fairlane 21. Like I said I just wanted to go watch a movie with my family. We paid $50+ to watch the movie in imax and yet still, this is what we get. The manager gave us free tickets for another showing but honestly we are not interested. I don't want to go to the movies anymore because we might be harassed by people who don't care about anyone but themselves. I personally, will be streaming my films from now on. You guys need to take threats more seriously and actually enforce the rules and guidelines you set. Me and my family were actually scared they might attack us, for telling them to get off their phone! In a movie theater! Oh yeah, none of them were wearing masks either, but that's to be expected I guess. Maybe I should have just left but I didn't want to be bullied around by some angry kids with no life. I want to give you guys this feedback at least because I don't think you are a bad company as a whole, but certain multiplexes need to be better run. I wish everyone else a good theater experience and hope whoever reads this has a good day. Too bad Alamo Drafthouse is shutting down :(

Desired outcome: Movie theaters enforce the rules and guidelines set; take violent threats more seriously
