Altair Solar

Altair Solar Inc put in our 5.9 kw system in our crib in ***. We haggled a little on the price, but they hooked us up with the inverters and panels we wanted and a 25 year warranty. The customer service was on point and the install crew was on time and did a super clean install.

I had a problem with Altair Solar Inc and complained about it (#***). They said they would give me my $1000 deposit back, but I still haven't gotten anything in the mail. I emailed them on June 30th to ask when I could expect it, but they haven't replied yet. It's been over 10 business days since they said they sent the check.

This company is the worst! I started with Altair in March 22 and gave them a deposit on April 26, 2022. They sent out their roof inspector and when I asked if I needed any roofing fixed, he said no. But later I found out that I needed to fix a section of my roof, which set me back from installation. No communication at all. Every time I called, the person who answered acted like I was calling the wrong number. I sent multiple emails but got no response. I didn't get an email back until I started asking for the owner. Once I finally got my solar scheduled, the installer came and left trash all over the front lawn. It was embarrassing that my neighbors had to tell me that the installers left a mess. The company became good at communicating once they installed the solar panels and asked for payment. It wasn't until they fixed their payment portal that I was able to pay. I haven't heard from them about fixing the holes left in my wall. A little over 2 weeks into having solar, they turned it off even though I paid for it in full. I don't have access to turning it back on. Apparently, I passed all my city inspections, but I don't have any solar and have a hole in the side of my house.
