The HPD had my boyfriends car towed thru this company (Kapolei/Ewa location) and upon trying to contact the company to check if we could get items from the car their voice inbox was full. We went to their location the same day it was towed and as we tried to get our things the worker there gave us a hard time and told us they dont let people get their things from their car so we were "lucky" because he was allowing us to get some of our belongings. We werent able to grab everything so we tried to call again a couple days later and the inbox was full. We finally got an auto-body shop to bring in the car and get it approved from insurance but the lady that was in call with insurance and us hung up the phone before answering how much the charges were going to be. The insurance lady couldnt get a hold of anyone as she tried calling back the company immediately after but we did catch that her name was Sara. We took initiative and called the company and on the second call we were able to get someone on the line and asked what criteria they have for people picking up their belongings and she responded that they need proof of ownership and also said that if it isnt full coverage then we must pay all charges before getting any of our belongings from the car and I asked if there was any other documentation besides that and she hung up. Hopefully everything is done with once we pay but I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND this place to be partnered with HPD for people that need towing.

My car got towed from a crash on November 14. There were some stuff left in the middle and glove compartments. My car stayed at the tow yard until December 23. All Islands towing brought my car to ***. On December 24, I went to the shop and got my stuff from inside the car. When I opened it, my things were scattered all over. The glove and middle compartments were empty. Some of my things were gone. I can't figure out why they would need to rummage through my compartments.

Hey there ComplaintsBoard.com! So, this morning my car got towed from ***. I checked out the rules and regulations on the *** website (https://www.honolulupd.org/policy/policy-towing-procedures/) and it clearly says that if the registered owner shows up, the tow truck has to let go of the car. But guess what? The driver didn't follow that rule and still towed my car away. And get this, the website also says that the tow yard has to accept credit cards, but they just keep ignoring that and only take cash. Can you believe it? So, I'm reaching out to ComplaintsBoard.com for some help to look into this and stop them from doing these shady and illegal towing practices. Thanks for your time!

I talked to the most rude person ever! One worker didn't want to give her name and the other was awful. I asked for a manager after getting wrong info about a tow that happened yesterday. My car wasn't stored anywhere but I got charged for storage. My car wasn't towed at night or on a holiday but I got charged extra. These two workers have no manners, they were rude and hung up, didn't even give me a boss's name. I don't understand why HOD works with them, but a nice office explained that they're the cheapest option. Well, they shouldn't be in business if they can't treat customers right. They overcharged me and were really rude, even threatened me on the phone. These people should be fired for how they talked to a customer.

These guys at All Island Automotive Towing are seriously the worst, man. I've never dealt with such disrespectful and classless people in my life. Their customer service is like non-existent, seriously. So, when I was paying for my car, I gave this girl my title and ID, right? And then she asks for my title back, but I'm like, "can I have my ID card back?" But she straight up ignores me and asks for my title again. I'm like, "Come on, can I please have my ID back?" I had to ask twice, man. And then she starts raising her voice at me, like what the heck? She's like, "Fine, I just won't bail your car out then." So I'm like, "Why you raising your voice at me?" And she's like, "Because you're being difficult." I tell her that I thought she was done with my ID card, that's why I asked for it back, and she didn't have to go all crazy on me and threaten me. Like, there ain't no law saying she can keep my car if I'm there paying for it, you know? These guys and their whole family think they're all high and mighty just 'cause they're contracted with HPD. And seriously, cash only? Every towing company is supposed to take cards too, man. Are they running some kind of money laundering operation or what?

My vehicle license plate *** got towed cuz I parked it all wrong. On August 16th, 2022, 'round 7:15am, the cops came and slapped me with a parking ticket (number ***). So, I called up ALL ISLAND TOWING to find out what docs I needed to get my car back. The lady on the phone (don't know her name) wouldn't give me any info. She said I gotta call the cops for that. I told her she had to spill the beans, but she just hung up on me. So, I called the cops and they said the tow company gotta give me the deets. I ended up driving to the tow yard and paid the fee to get my car back. But when they brought it out, I saw that the rear bumper was all messed up from the tow job. I went inside the office to ask for a claim, but they just told me to sue 'em and bounce. They didn't give me any info on how to reach their insurance or nothin'. And to top it off, the driver had a pic of my car before it got towed, showin' no damage. He had the nerve to sarcastically say the pic and the car now looked the same to him. I had to leave their office feelin' lost and clueless about what to do next.

The towing guy ain't followin' the rules, man. They didn't send me no notification 'bout my car gettin' towed within 20 days like they supposed to. My ride, a 2010 ***, got towed on [protected] 'cause of some traffic hazard, ya know? The notice finally came in the mail on [protected], which is a whole 30 days later! According to HRS 291C-165.5 (b), if they don't send the notice within 20 days, they can't make me pay for the tow and storage fees. But when I went to talk to 'em in person at ***, they straight up told me they ain't lettin' go of my car and they know 'bout the law. They even said they already auctioned it off, but it's still sittin' in their possession. Now they want me to cough up $1207.50 to get it back. My beef is this: #1 I shouldn't have to pay 'cause they sent the notice late, like HRS 291C-165.5 (b) says. And #2 The notice they did send ain't good enough 'cause it didn't have the location of where they took my car (***.), like HRS 291C-165.5 (b) says it should. It also didn't tell me 'bout the maximum charges they can hit me with, like HRS 291C-165.5 (b)(1) requires. And they said I only got 10 days to claim my car, but HRS 291C-165.5 (b)(3) gives me a whole 30 days before they can start messin' with it 'cause of abandonment. That's 30 days after they mailed the notice on [protected], not next week on [protected]. #3 They put my car up for auction without the right to do so. Can't be doin' that, man.

Be careful when you go there, there are women who have no class and act like hungry dogs. Read all the reviews and it's all the same. Horrible customer service. I was in an accident and got hit from behind. My vehicle was towed from the scene while I was in the ambulance. I've been calling All Island Towing for 3 months and I always get a voicemail saying it's full, but they say you can leave a text message with your phone number and someone will get back to you. I NEVER GOT A CALL. I went to 2 addresses that are listed but couldn't find them. Wrong address. Liberty Mutual is the guy who hit me's insurance company and they said the accident is still being investigated. So I waited while still calling the towing company to get my personal items out of the car. Liberty Mutual said they also tried calling them to have the car towed to my home. I gave them my address for the car to be towed to. Nothing happened. No calls back either. I finally found them through reviews here and went there today. I was met by 3 women who acted like animals and was told my car was auctioned off in September. I can't believe this. Liberty Mutual and All Island will be sued. My friend who was with me said she can't believe how those women working there acted. They also look scary. I'm going to Channel 2 Action Line and have them exposed to everyone. I'm calling the city and county and filing a complaint because they hire these animals. My car is gone and my personal items inside the car are gone. I only had the car for a couple of days before getting hit. I want everyone to keep complaining. Also, keep all records of attempted calls. That will hold up in court. Shame on these people and the city and county. Shame on Liberty Mutual too. All their reviews are the same. My car has been stolen and sold. I don't deserve this. I made so many attempts to reach them and it's all logged through my cell phone system. Good luck.

My boyfriends vehicle got towed cuz he parked in a no parking spot by HPD on 09/14/2022. Sucks, but I know I need the title to get the car back, I get that. I'm homeless right now and all my stuff is in that car, including my boyfriends license, my doc papers for financial help, and my EBT card. My boyfriend is locked up in Halawa Corrections for a few more months, so I can't get a copy of the title or a notary for power of attorney, so I gave up on that. I called this tow company to talk to ***, the old owner, but they straight up ignored me and asked what the problem was. So I figured he wasn't there. So my boyfriend had me three-way him on the phone to explain where he was and see if we could work something out. The lady on the phone was cool and told us to call at noon the next day and ask for ***. When we called and asked for ***, the lady who answered asked what it was about. We told her the other lady said to ask for ***, but she didn't care and rudely said we need the title for the car! What I want from this complaint is for ***, the owner, to talk to me and listen to me, please. Everything I own is in that car, and they're gonna do sweeps soon, so I gotta get out of where I'm staying. I'm trying to get help to get into a shelter, looking for a job, and I got $300 saved up for situations like this. Just talk to me on the phone or in person, I'm desperate. Or let me get my stuff out of the car. I got a state ID and the paperwork from my doc has my name on it. The tow company's job is to tow the car, they shouldn't be able to keep what's inside if the owners come to claim it.
