of Hawaii. I called them multiple times and they never answer the phone. It's really frustrating because I need help with my alarm system and they are supposed to be the experts. I even left messages and they never called me back. It's like they don't care about their customers. I also tried emailing them but they never responded to my emails either. I don't understand why they have a website if they don't want to help people. I am very disappointed with their lack of customer service. I would not recommend Alert Alarm of Hawaii to anyone.

I sold my home, which the alarm company knows, and they say that I still have to pay for the alarm monthly cost for alarm monitoring for the home I no longer own.

We don't have an active contract with Alert Alarm. We installed our alarm back in the late 1980s and it has been more than 60 months since then. I sent three emails to all their addresses to cancel our service immediately on February 8. I called multiple times and was told that it wasn't canceled and that "Senior Manager" approval was required. I mentioned several times that we had sent emails to their business office emails, including the main email, cancellation email, customer service, and sales email. Today, when I called, they said they needed "Senior Manager" approval and wanted to discuss why we were closing the service. They told me I couldn't cancel the service without talking to someone. I don't want to be asked why or have someone try to convince us to keep the service. We don't have any existing contract with them that requires a three-month notice. I will call back on Tuesday, February 17, for the sixth time to request the cancellation effective as of our initial request on February 8.

I was told I could get a free system to try out because of the vandalism in the area. It's supposed to help stop crime and vandalism. They said I could cancel anytime without a problem. But now they want me to pay over $2,000, which is a big problem for me. After they set up the system, my property got vandalized a few months later. I asked to see the footage, but they said I have to pay extra for that, on top of the $60 I already pay every month. When I tried to cancel, they said I missed the 3-day grace period! So now I'm stuck paying for a service I can't even use unless I pay more. I've tried to fix this several times, but when I asked to talk to the manager, she was even ruder. She basically said tough luck, I signed a contract, even though I explained that the salesperson lied to me about why I agreed to get the service.

Aloha! So, I got this alarm thingy from Alert Alarm of Hawaii back in August/September . Every month, the company paid for the alarm monitoring service through Alert Alarm Hawaii. On Jan 3, 2022, at 5:30PM, the supervisor set the alarm. Then, on Jan 4, 2022, some sneaky person broke into the place at 2:00am. But guess what? Nobody found out about it until the supervisor showed up at 9:30am. The supervisor called me all confused about the break-in, and I was like, "What? I didn't get no call from the Alarm ***." So, I called up Alert Alarm *** to check if my account was good to go. The person on the phone said everything was up to date. So, I asked them why I didn't get a call about the break-in, and they said the alarm has been inactive since 2016. Can you believe it? We've been paying for the Alarm *** that Alert Alarm Hawaii installed, but nobody's been monitoring it. I told the person on the phone, "Hey, this ain't right!" They said they'd pass it on to the Management Team and get back to us. I called a couple more times in January 2022 to check on what's going on, and all they said was that management would contact us. Well, here we are on February 16, 2022, and we still haven't heard a peep about the break-in that happened on Jan 4, 2022. We just wanna know, for the past 5 years, Alert Alarm Hawaii has been billing us for monitoring the Alarm they installed, but when a break-in actually happens and the alarm goes off, they fail to alert the police and the point of contact. We, as the business, haven't received the service we've been paying for all these years. Thank you.
