I had the best experience ever with Alberta Top Notch Movers! I move around Canada a lot for work, but it's rare that my moving process goes smoothly and pleasantly like it did today. Both the movers were super professional, on time, careful with my belongings, and knew what they were doing. I used Top Notch Movers twice and they were great both times. A.J. and Brandon did the loading and unloading in 5 hours, even though the driver got sick. They made sure everything went smooth. I moved a lot before, but Alberta Top Notch Movers was the best ever! We called and talked to a real person who knew everything and gave us advice. They drove an hour out of the city and gave us a good price. On move day, the crew came on time, covered our floors, wrapped our furniture, and loaded the truck. They were full of energy and treated our stuff like it was theirs. Nothing was damaged. They were polite, honest, helpful, and professional. We highly recommend them! Lynda & Dave

I used Top Notch Movers last month for a move from Stony Plain to Cochrane Alberta. I was kinda worried about using a moving company cuz of past experiences, but *** and his team at Top Notch were awesome. The guys who packed up my stuff were really careful and organized. The 3 movers, ***, were super nice and took good care of my furniture and stuff. They even talked to my 3 year old son and answered all his questions with a smile. We didn't have any damage to our stuff or our old or new place cuz they took their time loading and unloading the truck. That's not something I've seen before. Usually it's a big rush and stuff gets messed up. If you need to move, I definitely recommend *** and his team at Top Notch. They made it a really good experience for my family. Tim

Movers were bad, don't use them! I was on *** and asked for quotes. They asked me to choose from 11 quotes and I chose the highest one. They quoted $1850 for a 1bdrm. I told them I could move at the end of the month but they said they needed to move me a day earlier. I told them I had a Doctor Appointment that day but they didn't care. They sent two older people who were not healthy looking. They took over 6 hours to load my stuff and kept complaining. They had a cigarette every second trip. It took over 3 hours to unload with me. They broke shelf legs, lamps, glass in picture frames, and scratched numerous things. The owner sent me an email but then avoided my calls for a month and a half. He doesn't understand respect or business. Don't use this company. They don't respect people, their time, or possessions.

I got these guys to move my stuff to a new place. But the driver messed up and hit the front of the building, causing some damage. They said they'd pay for it, but that was back in September. Now, the building owner sent them a bill for the damages, but they're not answering my calls or messages anymore. The landlord says I gotta pay $3872.55 for the damages, on top of the $2300 I already paid Top Notch Mover and the $1850 damage deposit.

They may seem great at first, but their communication and handling of the move was very disappointing. Plus, the damage to my belongings was unacceptable. Save yourself the trouble and go with a different moving company.

To make matters worse, they charged me more than what was quoted and didn't even use the necessary tools to make the move more efficient. Alberta Top Notch Movers is a 5-star moving company in Canada. I moved to Red Deer on January 10, 2022. I told the customer service rep that I had a 3 bedroom townhouse with a dining room and some extra stuff like a treadmill, electric fire place, and a kiln. All boxes were moved to the garage and just had to be put on the truck. We took beds apart and removed the mirror from the dresser. They quoted me $1,400 for the move. On moving day, it took 8.5 hours. They said the cost could be double because of the number of boxes. The lead of the crew said it didn't matter how long it took because they get paid anyway. They couldn't move a $2,500 leather couch, so they sawed it in half and took it to the dump. The move-in took 4 hours, and the crew were hardworking and efficient. The move ended up costing $3,500, 2.5 times the original quote. I complained to the company but haven't heard back.
