KIA Sorento 2022 VIN *** Below are the approximate dates and times of the events that occurred:

4/7: I noticed a slow water leak coming from the driver's side headliner and plastic piece. I checked to see if it could have come from another area, but found nothing. The leak was in the exact spot shown in the pictures I sent. The windows were not open and there were no stains on the door to suggest the window had been rolled down. I did not contact KIA until the following event on 4/12.

4/12: Around 3 pm, I went to KIA and asked the advisors to get the service manager, Hunter Vail. Hunter came out to my vehicle, which was parked under their overhang, and I explained the issue to him. He sat in the driver's side and touched the wet spot, observing the water running down into the vehicle. He noticed the stained portion on the liner and checked above to see if the weather stripping could be the cause, but he was unsure. I showed Hunter the photos and video of the leak that I had on my phone, which were recorded by me and my husband. I also mentioned that there was a musky wet odor when turning on the A/C in recycle mode since the leak occurred. Hunter advised me to bring my vehicle back on Monday for inspection and to have the vehicle ozone-treated to remove the smell.

4/13/4: Due to heavy rains throughout the week and weekend, I parked my vehicle in the 5th Ave S Free parking garage to prevent further issues. I kept the vehicle parked there until I dropped it off on Monday, as instructed by Hunter. Please see the attached note for further details.
