Air Boca is one of the worst companies I've dealt with, and I've dealt with some bad ones in my 10 years in South Florida. I own 10 properties in South Florida, so I know how work should be done. I bought two new AC systems from AirBoca for two different condos. After installing the second system, I noticed it wasn't performing well. I investigated further and saw that the main unit piping, which connects to the condenser, was exposed to the elements. Basically, there was no protective foaming on the pipes, which is the standard practice. Because of the constant condensation in the direct sun, the system didn't work well. When I contacted Air Boca, they refused to take responsibility for the poor installation and said I would have to pay extra for the piping insulation. I told the owner directly that I would never do business with them again if they didn't fix the issue. They never did, so I had my handyman do it instead. The bottom line is that they were cutting corners and hoping people wouldn't notice. Another serious issue is the fraud. I bought a 2019 unit in 2019 and paid for a new one. However, upon inspection due to a property sale, I discovered that the air handler was a 2016 model, while the compressor was from 2019. These guys are crooks, and I'll make sure people know about it. Don't use them. I'll also be contacting my attorney about this company.
