I received my bike in a very bad condition, I transfered one bike and Suitcase from delhi to pune and the charge was maximum as compare to others movers and packers because of the name of Agarwal Movers and packers and its service .
But i receives my bike in very bad condition and the suitcase is also tore .
I showed the condition to your khadki office pune and they told me to talk to your claim person, But he is not responding in proper way.
Severe damages was found in head light.
Cost of damage is coming around 2500 RS

My car had been transported by Ms Agarwal Packers & Movers on 23rd September 2008 from Chennai to Ahmedabad to be delivered in Vadodara. The car got damaged in a road accident in Vadodara while transport company carrying out the delivery of the car.
There are two parts of my complaint:
1) Why I was not informed about the accident and secondly while carrying out the legal formalities why I was not into confidence which is a clear violation of my right being the owner of the car.
2) I was verbally assured by the company officials that the transport company will pay for the balance amount if any incase the actual bills for repairs exceeds the approvged insurance claim. The actual bills for repairs stands at Rs 41428/-, copy is with the local office of the transport company. This is now denied by the company and I was aksed to pay for the bills for repairs and get the car released and I have to be satisfied by whatever monies I receive from insurance company.

In September 2007 I have been transfered from Job from Bangalore to Delhi. In this connection, for shifting of my household goods & car I contacted Omex Packers & Movers (Aggarwal Packers & Logistics). During my whole shifting I faced many problems and I feel I dealing with unprofessional persons who have no knowledge about the trade. My goods was not delivered on time. Most of the goods damaged during transportation. When I contacted him not giving proper reply.

I moved from Delhi to Mumbai and selected the DRS group, Agarwal Packers and Movers. My stuff arrived to Mumbai with three of my valuable chinaware smashed to pieces and my computer table broken beyond repair. While I managed to see that the china was broken, they quietly put away the table in such a way that I came to know about it only later. Of course, that was too late... i wrote to them and called them up an umpteen number of times, but they never bothered to respond.
The thing to be careful about these guys is that they pack the way they feel like and they refuse to dismantle things as it is extra work for them. Then the handling and stacking is done in any odd way. They also make sure that they take a full payment from you before dispatch so you cannot catch them at all. Similarly when they unpack they will bear down upon you till you do the necessary signatures.
I had also moved my car from delhi and they delivered it while i was at office in mumbai. The petrol tank was completely emptied [i gave them a full tank] and they broke a handle, which they quietly stuck with superglue. They spilled the glue too and that has left marks all over my door.
Cannot say that they are horrible packers... but I would not recommend them to anyone... and they cheat you!
I recently moved to Delhi and agreed to use "Agarwal Packers and Movers" preferred mover of my new employer.
They unloaded my stuff while I was at work and my wife was busy with our child. When I came home and we started to unpack our stuff I noticed that several things were damaged including a few furniture pieces. My wife already signed the papers and we even paid for their services prior to the move so I had little chance to receive a compensation.
I contacted them several times wanting to speak to them, but they never returned my calls. I think it's unfair to charge customers upfront for this type of services? and they are using this fact to avoid responsibilities.
I have moved from Kolkata to Delhi and chose DRS Logistics subsidiary Agarwal Packers & Movers for Household Transportation. This is one biggest mistake I made because upon delivery we found that, a wooden sofa-cum-bed is missing which costs approximately Rs.10000. I have followed up several times with the kolkata branch office and also delhi branch office and did not get my sofa yet. It's almost 20 days since the goods arrived. I do get calls from them but no solution. Sometimes , it is told to me that, the sofa is the delhi office godown and it will reach within a day and sometimes it is told that, the sofa is in kolkata office godown and it will reach within 4 days.
The list contains the item as sofa-cum-bed with 24 as serial no. but the value which has been put against it is Rs.1000 only. They got this signed in hurry and left from my Kolkata home.
Don't know how to tackle them but for sure I will see the end to this.

However, during unpacking, few items were found broken, a survey form was filled with the Agarwal P&M team. However, while trying to check with Agarwal team on the claims, the person responsible (Mr Gyanendra) number is always switched off or non-reachable and it seems he is the only one who can process the claims, but alas, only if u can reach him.
This is after i have paid huge amount to insure my household goods. Didnt expected this from Agarwal P&M for such irresponsible behavior in processing the claims, completely unethical and irresponsible. Will keep u updated on the progress..

I also had a horrible experience with Agarwal Packers & Movers.
They delivered our household goods in broken condition & that too with huge delay (24 hours).
They have taken the whole amount (1.5 times more than the market rate) in advance & now when we are making calls for claim they are not even picking up our calls. Its really very very irritating & highly irresponsible act. We tried to approach higher management as well but all are irresponsible. We are still struggling with them to get the claim.
After this kind of treatment i will never recommend Agarwal Packers & Movers to anyone. Please don't hire them if you are really concern about your goods.

They have also damaged my new Fridge and Bed and i have to call separate people to get them repaired.
I can understand the frustration where you pay all money in advance trusting that the goods are in responsible hands but they are real cheaters.
You should move to consumer court in your city against these guys.

mishandling of the goods
This is regarding my case of transporting my house hold luggage from Delhi to Kolkata by DRS Agrawal Movers & Packers.
Basically I want to share with you my worst nightmare and horrible experience with DRS Agarwal Movers & Packers.
My luggage was suppose to move from Delhi on 6th May and should reach at Kolkata by 167th may 07, as decided by me and the representative of DRS Agarwal Movers and Packers (Mr. Balbir).
It was also decided that this is a door to door delivery and my luggage will be transported in a single big container.
Here in Kolkata I got the call from Mr. Patel on 15th May 07 that My luggage is arrived and he will deliver the same by 16th May 07morning.
Again on 16th morning he called me saying that he will deliver the luggage by afternoon, again in the afternoon he called and told me that because of rain he is able to load my material and will transport the same by night 8.00PM. Again by 6.00PM, he called and told me that material can be reach only by 11.00PM afterwards.
In that case I asked him to transport the material on next day morning.
Next day morning by 9.00AM I saw to small trucks were there containing my all luggage. And when they started unloading the material I saw many cartoon boxes were damage, cloths were coming out of the boxes in which they were packed at delhi.
And when they unpacked my furniture I found maximum of them were broken and all were scratched very badly.
The way they broke my Bed, Sofa, Chairs and other so many furnitures and Glass items, it seems they literally played football with the same. Even the bucket which was packed in the cartoon was teared and damaged completely.
After that when I open my Computer, Micro Oven, Washing machine and Mixer, I found all of them were physically damage and they are not operable any more.
After a long chase by different persons from DRS, one person (Pawan) came to home for the survey in the 16th Night and after next day there was no response from DRS, till 20th May.
On 20th may mr. Patel came again for the survey and told very blently that if I want to settle the damage as per the Insurance declaration is fine, otherwise he is going back, and I can do what I want to do, he don't care at all. He was using bad language and was not ready to cooperate at all. Even i asked for the person to whom should we speak for the further clarification, he told us very rudely that he don't know the name and any phone number of any senior person.
In the settlement he told me that what ever value I declared in the insurance coverage, that amount he will pay, and he will take that material with him.
For eg If I had declared the insurance value of a Micro wave oven as Rs 1500, he wil pay me Rs 1500 and will take away the Micro Wave oven with himself.
These are the few things which I am able to write, apart from that I had received such a bad communication from DRS which I can't imagine even. Every I call there I have been provided by a new number to talk, even some time people cut the phones or they simply switch off there mobile phone.
Here by I request all that before going to this packer, one should think twice.
It is now almost a week, still my claim is not settled above, that they are not coming to my home for the survey.

My brother-in-law moved from Delhi to Bangalore in September 2006. He has booked a sealed container through Agarwal Packers and Movers. He had put insurance coverage for all the goods. On good reaching Bangalore, we found several of the household articles damaged in transit. His Hero Honda bike was badly damaged, with the few tank completely crushed and frame bent.
On delivery, they demanded we sign documents certifying receipt of good in goo condition. We denied, saying we shall do that once damages are taken care of. The next one week, on repeated call one representative came home and was negotiating for settlement of Rs. 500/-. The damages were above Rs. 10000/- The total bill was ~Rs. 35000/- including insurance. He said max he can give is Rs. 1000/-, for which we said let us do the actual repairs in the bike and furniture let him settle the bills. He walked out quoting you do whatever you want, we cannot pay you. Since my brother in law had to submit his bills in office, he had to sign to get the final bill. But to my dismay Agarwal Packers and Movers proved to be highly unprofessional, contrary to my expectations. Talking to senior people in Bangalore & Delhi offices were of no use.
Please be wary and do not make use of "agarwal packers and movers", though they claim to be the pioneers and leaders. This is the least we though we can do to ensure gullible customers are not taken for a ride...
Two days ago, I used Agarwal Packers and Movers Shifting Service. At the end of the transfer service, their workers accidentally broke the new TV of my brand. He apologized for it and gave me money for my TV.

House hold items are relocated from Indore to Visakhapatnam on April 01, 2011. During transit, the washing machine bottom got damaged. While unloading your depacking persons tried to fit the washing machine in the dedicated washing machine stand. It is not fitted properly, but while fitting painting was got peeled off. All are left with quite without comment on that.
My wife she didn't find the mistake, due to some unavoidable circumstances I was strucked up with job at chennai. Last when I went to Visakhapatnam, i found the mistake same thing conveyed to visakhapatnam local branch.
Their answer is that you have not informed during unloading. All the things may not possible by the same day.
I have insured for one lakh. Even for listening or attending for view or rectification of damage also the incharge person from visakhapatnam is not interested.
It is not ends with one day. Customer satisfaction is better policy. In this I can say Agarwal packers failed to deal in good manner. I am enclosing the photos for your review. Pl. send any body to identify and rectify the damage.
Expecting soon. It is good to maintain the good relation ship.

So - BOOTOMLINE is these guys don't care
They talk big
but performance is not even 1 % of the promise

Yah, I have had the same divine experience, I must say….we have shifted from kolkata to Bangalore for 75000rs(seventy five thousand only) and received 70% of the items in severely damaged condition, 30% were of no use….On complaining after 24 days two most uncultured and uneducated stuff came and gave a long lecture upon the rules and regulations and Gandhigiri and even said that it is not THEIR responsibility to protect things, they just WORK against MONEY, on the contrary it is our duty and responsibility to do all the paper-work(while the supervisor filled it with absurd rates and we forgot to check it out during loading, even didn’t get so much time when they were in that much hurry) and packing in the right way (while on the day of packing they were getting irritated and said that we should trust them) ….and after a long discussion they wished to give us 4000rs for the loss….so if You want to be a “bakra”, Please go for Agarwal Packers And Movers.
