Agarwal Packers & Movers review: Extremely unprofessional – consignment not delivered even after full payment

I had a terrible experience with Agarwal Packers and Movers (DRS Group). My consignment (GC No: 4954095) was picked up from Delhi on 16th April and was supposed to be delivered to Kolkata. I made a full payment of ₹50,225 on the same day, which also included a one-week storage charge. But even after more than two weeks, my goods have not been delivered.

Every day, I am told it will be delivered "tomorrow" — that tomorrow never comes.
Here is just a glimpse of the harassment I’ve faced:
Customer care and local staff give false promises and never follow up.
Drivers and coordinators keep changing and either switch off phones or stop responding.
I was passed from one person to another: drivers, local contacts, and so-called seniors — all of whom failed to deliver or even communicate honestly.

Even after confirming the delivery date via email (for 1st May), the consignment never arrived.
This is mental harassment, and I’ve now filed a complaint with the consumer forum. The consignment includes important books I need for my studies, and the repeated delays are causing significant emotional and practical distress.
