Affirm.com review: Affirm did not check the validity of a company's debt against me before destroying my credit rating

Senior.com turned an account over to Affirm for collections stating that I owed them $409 for one set of dentures, when their dentures in 2025, when the purchase took place, only cost $181. They not only didn't check what dentures cost, they also didn't bother to find out how many complaints have been filed against Senior.com for false reporting debt and trying to take advantage of seniors. They also didn't check to see that Senior.com has a D- rating with the Better Business Bureau. They just went ahead and destroyed my credit rating dropping it from 689 to 615 right when I'm trying to rent an apartment. Affirm's lack of checking the validity of a dept reported to them just might cause me to become homeless. Way to go Affirm.
