Four years ago I was literally drowning in almost $40K in credit card debt. Fortunately, I made a choice to use this Debt Management Program to help me to get out of debt so I could finally feel free to retire. Through Level Coaching I met my credit counselors, Kelley Johnson and her assistant, Brandi Thompson. Who set up monthly phone visits to see how I was doing and how the program was helping me. I also worked with Marcela Rodriguez, of Family Budget Services, who handled my payments to my creditors. They are all extremely professional and experts at what they do. Today, my creditors are paid and I am finally out of debt. I now sleep better at night; my blood pressure is finally normal and I owe them my deep gratitude.

Total scam. Theyre very misleading about their fees and how the debt relief works. What they do is ask you to stop paying your credit card companies. After 180 days your debt will be considered a charge off. This will drastically decreased your credit score. What theyre doing is something you can do yourself. Keep in mind whatever that is forgiven or negotiated to a lower amount, he will have to pay taxes on it. So for example if you have $10,000 in debt and your credit card company agrees to settle for $5000, you will owe taxes on $5000. Their fees are 25% of your total debt so youll end up paying them $2500. So in the end you really dont save any money. The results are your credit score will take a hit. These are the things they do not tell you when signing up. I highly recommend you stay away from this company and companies like this.

Me and my husband are going through a difficult situation with Level Debt now. It's been 3 years and I settled most of my cards on my own. I have 2 more cards, one they started paying and stopped, which I am getting sued again for. And my husband is facing the same problem. He's actually paying more than his original balance because they made a settlement in 2020, paid over $2000, and then stopped. So it voided the settlement. They renegotiated a new settlement and he is paying again. And the original balance was an undisclosed amount, which is quite frustrating. And now I'm getting a run around from them.

Michelle Smith was an excellent representative for the company. She was very knowledgeable and able to breakdown how the program worked so that me and my wife were able to understand everything more easily. Her customer service skills were other worldly, Michelle displayed patience with answering all our questions and providing us with additional background information about the company. She took the time to walk us through the document signing process (which can be overwhelming with all of the wording and numbers). With this program we are able to pay our debt off in 4 and a half years, compared to the 30 years that it would have taken us if we did not go with this company. This comes out to a savings of over $40,000. I wish that we were able to give Michelle a 10 star rating because she deserves it.
