After 14 yrs. I attempted to cancel my ADT account.

The reason: since 2020 their customer service took a drastic turn for the worst.

In the past, when I had a tech problem, they would schedule a service repair man to repair it.

Now, they keep you on the phone with a foreigner attempting to 'walk you through your own repair' and after wasting your precious personal and family time, they inform you that their is "no longer any techs that represent your area"!

Here comes the really good part - after not getting anywhere with having my system repaired or upgraded, I called to cancel my account. I was directed to two different people.

The second person told me I would have to wait on the phone another 40 min. in order to speak to an 'Account Mgr' because I had been such a long-time customer.

I politely declined and hung up. As of today, they still have not closed my account and I may have to get an attorney in order to get them to stop automatically drafting y bank account.

Whatever you do...do not set up auto pay through your bank...it will be almost impossible to reverse it.

In the past ADT was a great company, however it has really tanked over the last several years.

Desired outcome: Refund for my payment $225 covering 8/1/2023 - 10/31/2023 because my system was not operational.
