I live in Scotland - I did not complete my application for the trial but was billed for what I had thought was a free offer. I have not received any product and the phone number given for enquiries is not recognised when I dial it. Can anyone help with a phone number that I can call to stop them taking more money from me?

The question is how can we stop these crooks

I got the same issue what they did is they said 14 days to cancel after they take payment from you and then there is another catch the 14 days is not from when you receive it but from the date of purchase. So you think you have time but you don't you call them the same day you order that you don't want it and you want it canceled but no lock they still send it over ... you want to send it back too bad it arrived the days the 14 days passed so you get billed then you call from Canada they automatically close the phone at the 23rd second you call with a USA calling card the surprisingly answer then they say okay done it is canceled but you still get billed then you call again they say it is cancel for the next month and they can't guarantee if the system has already passed it for shipping if so then I will still get billed so what Id id is cancel my credit card yes all this to get a free 3$ worth trial of ### that did not work at all and scammed my pockets for so much I hope they die.

On the 3rd of march i paid for the postage for 30 day free trial of acaiburn capsules.
I have not received any capsules and i have tried every thing to contact then . for the refund of my postage .

This is a totally scam, my card is still being charged. I'm calling the bank tomorrow to close my visa account so I don't get anymore charges. Has anyone had any luck with complaints with these people? Do we need to contact Miss Oprah?

Ah, if you read the 'terms' about how to get your money back if you are not satisfied with the product, you will see that it clearly states that you get the 14 day free trial and after the 14 day trial, you will be billed the full amount. If you are note satisfied after that, you can return the product and get your money back (except for the shipping cost). Also, in the terms, it stated that you will automatically be enrolled in the Insider Secrets E-Book and the Comprehensive Weight Loss and you have to call them separately if you want to cancell. For those two, you can't get your refund. Some peeps are just too lazy to do this and say that they got ripped off.

I ordered the products (I lost 5 pounds in 3 days) but had to return them for medical reason. I followed the directions and got my refund.

I too had to learn my lesson the hard way. I also ordered a "free trial" for Total Cleanse that Acai Burn suggests
you use at the same time. In my case, fortunately I had not opened the pills before the charges started coming in rapid succession! One charge after another from companies I'd never heard of, or authorized charges for. They charged me 59.95 and 78.95 and 9.95 and monthly fees, ongoing membership fees, in addition to the shipping fees. I immediately cancelled the orders and was able to refund the unopened bottles for a full refund. More charges kept coming and after calling many toll free numbers, I hopefully have this nipped! I am cancelling the credit card that was used to ensure they don't give my information to anyone else.
I think 20/20, Dateline or a program of such should contacted as well as the better business bureau. This is a HUGE scam, taking advantange of what I imagine to be thousands of women. The product doesn't work anyway! DO NOT FALL INTO THIS SCAM TRAP...STAY AWAY!

Also, some subscription scam that takes another 10.00 from my account?
They said that a refund will be issued as soon as a tracking number is provided...

I ordered and cancelled within the 14 day 'trial' period, only to find that I had only cancelled being on their programme and the 'trial' they'd sent me was 30 days worth and that I'll be charged £59.95 USD.

I asked why they called it a trial if in fact it is one and the same as their so called 60 Day money back guarentee? No answer on the end of the line! I pointed out that it was false advertising. No answer. I was told that I could return the pills and get my money back, but had to put my order number on the outside of the package as well as within the pack and that it would take approx 14 working days (!) before any money taken would be reimbursed to my account from the date they receive it! So however you look at it, they take your money and as it stands now, I still don't know if it ever really gets reimbursed.

I'm furious!

I ordered this Acai Burn a few months ago, and cancelled soon after receiving it. They never told me that I would still be charged another $4.95 for something called Insider Tips, whether or not you ever accessed the info online or not, they have no way of knowing that. They never tell you that you need to cancel this part of the program as well as the supplement. Watch out for this company, they are good at charging you this small amt. to many people who don't read their statements monthly to watch out for these small charges. Is this a fair practice? Shouldn't this all be able to be cancelled when you stop one product and the other one is related to taking the product and receiving tips? They also told me that they are not able to return my money but that I wouldn't be charged anymore. I had to a ask for a confirmation number before she hung up on me. Unless you file charges with your credit card Company and the Federal Trade Commssion and Attorney Generals office in your State and the State that you recieved the product from - You will not get fooled again! People have not been speaking up until now! Even their Banks are tired of it! And aware of it! Some Banks back you up, some don't. Depends you are with... Good luck!

There should be hard core legislation regarding these types of scams and a very harsh penalty if caught.
Millions of dollars are being scammed from innocent victims on a daily basis.
Some banks are willing to do charge backs on these scams.
Everyone should check with their own Banking Institutions for information on charge backs.
The product may be a good one, but the price gouging scammers will always ruin a good thing!

The only safe thing you can do is close that account. You will continue to see unauthorized charges.

There have been testimonies posted on this website where people get a new number but a few months down the line did receive new unauthorized charges on their new account. Scandalous!

I have filed a billing dispute with my credit card company, Bank of America and tried to file a fraud charge but the fraud officer (it was close to quitting time for him) stated since I gave AcaiBurn my credit card number for the first $4.95 charge that all the subsequent charges for $1 transaction fees, web access fees, product that I did not receive and the membership fee for $9.95 were not fraudulent. Then the Bank of America fraud officer said that even though I cancelled my credit card that AcaiBurn could force additional charges onto my old number which would be forwarded to any new number I may be assigned. I asked what if I didn't get a new number, the Bank of America fraud officer said it wouldn't help. This is truly frightening. I will follow the instructions given above by the Attorney General of Iowa and notify my state's attorney general of this issue as well.

FYI, canceling credit card and getting a new number won't work. I learned today when I got charged on my new card number that at least if it was a Visa that Visa will give them your new number since. It was explained to me by my bank that a lot of people signed up at gyms and though by changing cards they would get out of gym membership and the rules got changed to protect them. Visa will now provide them your new number if they have a recurring subscription.

BEWARE! Acai Burn [protected] Not only does this product not work they keep on charging you and charging you. I called and cancelled the "membership" and thought that was it. Oh no they enrolled me in other programs and charged my credit card $4.95 and $9.95. They will refund it if you call and complain. Don't be fooled this company is a scam.

For the lady who said she was out the money. Do a charge back on your credit card. Call your credit card company and tell them you sent the product back and you never recieved your refund. (hopefully you kept your tracking #) Your credit card company will help you from there.

Honestly, more of a hassle then a help. If youwant to try a weight loss supplement buy it at Walmart because you are going to get stuck with charges up the ###, and it is ridiculous. The people don't even know how to help you and give you numbers to call to cancel. Don't Order! I wish I knew this before!

I had a similar experience as Cheryl. The customer service person answered right away and was very helpful in explaining what I needed to do to return it.

HOWEVER, I had a charge on my cc that I didn't know what it was for. When I called the number showing on my statement, a recording said to wait 48 hours for the information to be updated on my cc statement (so, then, presumably I'd know what this $5.00 charge was for.) Well, that was six days ago and nothing had changed; so I called my cc company. Lo and behold, that $5.00 charge was from Cyprus (on my statement, it had a phone # with the letters CY after it, which tells where the charge originated). The man at my cc company knew immediately that it was fraudulent and that it was because of the AcaiBurn charge. They start with a small charge ($5.00, in my case) to make sure the card works. He said that was the 3rd one he'd seen recently.

I'm not saying that AcaiBurn is fraudulently using my cc number, but their online security isn't good. I had to cancel my credit card completely. On a better note, tho., AcaiBurn had not yet charged me the $59.95 for the "free trial" which I sent back earlier this week. Now they can't.

I ordered in good faith and when I returned the product within the two week period I was charged the $59.95.
I am told one tale after another when I call the acai burn customer service number. They say they refunded my money but they did not. There is also other charges being applied to my acct that are coming from this company. i have had to cancel my card for fear of what else they may apply illegally to it. I am making a complaint to the better business bureau about this scam even if it yields no results. Needless to say I'm out $59.95 for a product that was a joke and and other charges that I did not agree too. Please beware. This is the first time I've fallen for such a trick.

Don't just cancel but you are safer if you can change your account if you did it thru your bank. Let your Credit Card Company be aware of the scam.

What will happen is they will sell your Credit Card Number to other telemarketers and they will run that Credit Card dry. Then you will wonder where the other charges came from.

Make sure you file charges. You can do that with the Federal Trade Commission office online. They have a form online you can submit and also ic3.gov. They also have a form online. They work with the FBI. Their form is similiar to the FBI form. You can also file a complaint with the Attorney Generals office in whatever State you got the bogus product. There is a case against them as We speak.

Save some of that bogus product, you can use that against these Scam Artist. I hear alot of people are getting sick. Someone posted the ingredients on this website. One of the ingredients said "NOT DIGESTIBLE BY HUMANS."

I was also scammed by this company also, $4.95 shipping, 59.95 charge and another charge for $9.95 by another weight loss company. I could not get either to refund my money, I cancelled my credit card to avoid future problems with them Tried the product for 3 weeks and it did absolutley nothing.

I to along with several other people became victim to acai Burns scams. I decided to try there free trial But cancelled same day after a friend told me they were a scam. So they said they got it cancelled and there was no tracking # so it was not shippied and there would be no more fees. So other then the non re fundable $4.95 shipping fee they said I was stuck paying even though it never shipped, no more charges went on my card. I called them a week later just to make sure it was and not shipped and cancelled. Then the product showed up and I decided to try it! 2 weeks went by no more charges then came the $4.95 web acess fee and a $1.00 transaction fee . Which should not of been charged since I already cancelled my stuff 2 weeks prior. So I desputed the charge with my credit card company and they cleared it for me. Good thing is I stopped them before they scammed me for a larger amount of money!

Just received trial package for $4.95. Called company same day. Told that they would cancel my membership and I would be billed $59.95 for the FREE Trial! I disputed this and was referred to the terms and conditions. I disputed what I was being told and quoted THEM. I also told them I would be contacting the Better Business Bureaua dn Federal Govt to have the company investigated. I was told I would NOT be charged the $59.95. The package is being returned today. I was given a return authorization number which was the same as the order number by the way. I will be watching my credit card statement. I have been charged the $4.95 which I have paid. I will be placing a complaint with the BBB and notifying the Feds.

I was going to cancel my trial because there wasn't anything but the pills in the package. No information or numbers. I received 4 call before I received it and that made me a little weary. WHAT A FOOL I WAS!

Absolutely correct! I was charged BEFORE the trial period ended for these additional services which I was to receive as a gift. I have spent 45 minutes on the phone waiting to cancel the Acai Burn (which did NOTHING for me) and these additional products/services which I never wanted in the first place. Tomorrow would end the 14 day trial period from the day I received my "free" trial bottle. I called within the timeframe but was told my account was set to bill $60 tomorrow and could not be canceled in time -- "these things take time with the amount of paperwork required for a cancel " is what I was told. It did not take that much time for the paperwork to CHARGE my account.

Buyer definitely BEWARE. Not worth the hassle for me. I did not see all these complaints before I ordered the trial and I thought I had performed a good amount of research. If I had seen these first I would not have ordered any Acai!

Well all I have to say is thank you to all people who have posted complaints on this website. I to decided to read all this after I placed the order. I did read the fine print and I know that it says that I will be charged the addtional money after the 14 days if I don't cancel and send it back. So what I did today is cancel everything, the acai burn, the insider secrets and the comprehensive weight loss e book. Everything has to be cancelled separately. They say the free trial is on the way so as soon as I get it I can mail it back to them and I won't be charged. But since I've read all these complaints I don't trust this company so I have already taken the necessary steps to cancel my credit card so they cannot put any other charges through. Thank you again for all the complaints posted and giving a heads up to this company.
