I was the unfortunat recipent/neighbour of the house bein shingled by AAA Roofmasters in April in Oakville. Shingles, broken and whole, flyin off the roof into my yard. A complete new shingle found right where my dog always stands by our side gate. Wow!
From the 2 storey house height, this particular shingle, as well as many others would have severely hurt or killed my pet or a member of my family which I had pointed out to one of their workers.
All they would say in reply is "the wind, the wind".
So much garbage piled up on my side on the steps that gettin out of the side door with the dog was a safety hazard ***. No exaggeration. My wife was in a similar situation as well.
Used work gloves, cigarette butts, roofing nails, plastic, shingles.
I handed the VP of the company a sample bag of what his workers left for me.
Their shingles were also rainin down on my air conditionin unit and other furnace pipes in the area - this was pointed out as well - this is all expensive equipment and I didn't appreciate it.
Their promise to knock on our door and come over to clean up the garbage after bein asked also didn't happen. Open belligerence among their employees was also somethin I had to contend with.
My wife and myself later spoke to Scott L. who is a VP of this company and he apologized.
Overall, as I told Scott L., when my neighbour signed up to get his roof done - I didn't sign up for all his garbage and most of all, the unsafe manner that this company operated.
THIS COMPANY IS NOT ADHERING TO SAFE WORK PRACTICES REGARDING ROOFIN STANDARDS.
This company's workers have a common lack of respect for the people and their safety in the area around where they work. This is a big mistake on their part. There is a lawyer waitin for them somewhere up the road.

I accept your apology Scott, but you've got a long way to go. You might want to stick around and watch your workers a bit more than you are currently.
