I am 50+ years old and a single mother of two boys and have only submitted one claim in my life until recently. I was hit by a vehicle and it was the other's car fault (the driver and police report stated this). I submitted a claim and heard from AAA quickly. However, I needed to contact a lawyer because a county vehicle hit me and as soon as I did I never heard back from Jasmin Oliver. My lawyer's office sent her an email informing her that she can respond directly to me. After I texted her and left a voice message I never heard back from her again and my vehicle has been in the shop for one month. Then, my son's vehicle has a scratch on his glass from a rock hitting it. I submitted a claim for this (the third one in my lifetime) and they called me and told me I would need to pay $1k for it. I told them to cancel the claim, and they informed me that even though they will not help me with the window, they will close the claim, but it still will impact my insurance rate. They didn't ask me how big the scratch was until I spoke with a manager. She didn't ask a question as to how large it was or anything else until I told her I was writing a review. She then covered herself by asking the questions which would have been covered if it was small. They are intentionally not asking questions, so they won't have to help you or pay for it. I informed Steven Harris, the Regional Manager who claimed this is just a 'training issue'.
