we are a small clinic medi clinics primary care LLC.We registered with ZOCDOC for our provider Dr. Venkat Bireddy who is a primary Care Physician to get patients.

We have no specialisation team or specialities. In the month of April starting from 11(4/11/23) till May 10(5/10/23)

suddenly for the same provider they started charging 95$ per patient when it was supposed to be charged 42$.

Before and after these dates for the same provider the charge was

42$ per patient. When questioned zocdoc about this, this is what they have to say

"I understand you reached out regarding the charges you saw for April and May invoices.

Upon further research, it appears within the month of April, COVID-19 Testing Facility, Flu Vaccination Facility, Specialty - Geriatrician,

Specialty - Hospitalist were all previously requested specialty updates for Dr. Venkata Bireddy within his profile.

With this request it is important to note, facility profiles cannot have multiple specialties approved,

so since your facility already had a specialty approved, we rejected the specialty requests but were able to proceed with just Hospitalist.

On Zocdoc, you pay for the initial booking when a new patient uses our marketplace to find you and book an appointment.

The fee is set according to your specialty and state you are in. In Florida, the booking fee for Hospitalists is $95."

We have questioned zocdoc when we have no specialties and labs how can we request ZOCDOC for change in specialties especially Hospitalist and over the top of it they are themselves claiming that they can't approve us of any specialty then how come and with whose permission did they approve of Hospitalists specialty's.Also we have detailed billing online from ZOCDOC where the reasons we took the patients are primary care and same previous reasons and nothing related to hospitalist specialty.

Further they are claiming that someone from our side did changes online and next thing they are claiming we sent email.

when asked if they have any proof of email or any changes made through online from our side or any voice conversations?

they don't have any.atleast they don't even have proof that we cancelled as they claim in their letter. This is price gouging.

This is a terrible and exploitive service for small practices like mine, and quite unethical and the customer service is horrible.

We are just asking for refund for all these months which they have been overcharging without our permission, but they refuse to

Desired outcome: refund our money
