I am writing this to tell everyone what a disreputable company is United Vacations is. Now we all know that United Airlines ranks dead last in customer surveys. I had know idea their travel partner who books all-inclusive trips could surpass that low. First of all, you need to know that United vacations has nothing to do with United. United doesn't acknowledge them nor can they help you resolve a dispute. No matter what your status (I'm Premier Executive), this has no bearing. Also, United Vacations uses predatory policies to take advantage of consumers. I needed to move one leg of my trip resulting in a $700 change fee. Moreover, United Vacations could not accommodate my itinerary even though seats on United were available. Beware using United Vacations. I ended up canceling my trip entirely out of disgust and rebooking with Expedia. I lost $500 in cancellation fees but United lost my business forever.

I had new flooring installed on 6/6/23 by National Floors Direct. The floor started peeling almost immediately. I have contacted them directly and they will not honor their warranty to repair it. The installers were rude and also went into my fridge to get drinks without asking me first.

I wrote a complaint about craft hub, when it ordered 2 puzzles. They would arrive in 6 to 10 days but I finally received my puzzles on day 11. So if you order anything from craft hub just give it a few extra days. I am happy with my puzzles thank you

United Vacations using the United logo is soooooo misleading. Found flight were cheaper by a total of $800 for 2 people and no way to make any changes. My mistake thinking being a United Platinum and Marriott Titanium would have benefits to book under one entity, like a United Airlines partner (they are listed on United's website).

Shame on both companies...horrible experiences are the most common theme that align these two companies.

United Vacations is the worst ever. They screwed up every aspect of my travel booking and subsequent cancellation. I'll never use them again and highly discourage anyone else from using them. I am an experienced international traveler and have never had this much incompetence with a travel industry company. United Airlines needs to dump this contract.

Mr. REYNAL - I understand your company operates United Vacations. I am one of your very dissatisfied and disappointed customers. As I type this note, I’ve been on hold for well over 1.5 hours simply trying to change a reservation itinerary. Why I can’t do this online is simply UNBELIEVABLE to me. Indeed, it is shameful in 2022.

Moreover, my revised itinerary will likely result in more revenue for your company, yet here I sit listening to this same inane music. I’m presuming you have NEVER called into your 800 number and attempted to change a reservation, correct? If you did, you would fix this criminally POOR manual business practice that more than adversely impacts customer service.

In case you have any interest at all, You’ve received my last dollar, and lost my loyalty. I will also advise United Airlines CEO, and post a few reviews warning others of how little you regard customers.

Do not use united vacations. I purchased intheir website in February and they charged my credit card, I received my flight confirmation number and went to check j. Today for my flight tomorrow and my booking no longer assists. Called united vacations to get a refund and they won’t refund me and I had to purchase another airline ticket today for 5 times the usual price. Disgusting

Yelp.com Dishonest, unethical, corrupt, mafia

I guess this is one of the few places we can review Yelp. They certainly won't let me review them on their website even though they profess themselves as the voice of the people. They are more like the mafia filtering negative reviews for businesses who pay their protection monies and keeping libel unsubstantiated reviews for those who have principals and refuse to pay. This is the ugly truth they don't want you to know. Please spread the word so we will no longer be oppressed by this mafia. Thanks for reading this!

I've done an experiment of sorts, submitting negative but accurate reviews of several businesses. The result: For businesses that advertise with Yelp, the negative reviews disappear within 2-3 days. For businesses that don't advertise with Yelp, the negative reviews remain.

Too many filtered reviews. I'm over YELP. I’m going to go with GOOGLE. One day a review is up, the next it's gone, then it's back again... YELP sells ads to web companies, puts them on the page about my services... I'm a free lance web designer that means, I WORK ALONE... I'm not a store front and I'm not a cheap designer who doesn't know what they are doing... it’s also very difficult to get a client to post a review. I don’t dictate what they say/write or post or rate, but it’s gotten old with the back and forth and one day it’s up and the next it’s not, and then it’s posted up again and not filtered… so I’ve removed the links to yelp off my site (http://www.stevemckinnis.com), and I’m not going to encourage any web clients to update or use their listing on yelp anymore… I'm a little incensed by the unethical and inconsistent way that you guys are running their business... so I'm going to back off and encourage the people I work with to utilize other services. It also is disconcerting that I can not delete or opt out my profile. Once you are listed on YELP and I didn’t list myself there, they did… I can’t erase it. And contrary to other folks, I don’t have any negative reviews… but I am tired of their constant phone calls to purchase ad space and then the lame tactics they use to tamper with my reviews and page listing. They need to get a consistent policy in place and make it fair across the boards as well as offer an opt out and removal of your business off their site. For e-mail blasts, legally, there has to be an opt out so why not on someone’s web site?

It is quite interesting that Yelp continues to delete the ongoing good reviews we have on our centers and kept the one bad review three years ago. This customer alleges that we use knifes at our center and that we didn't care about child safety. This mom, Jacelyn lied about her husband divorcing her and her parents kicking her out of the house and ask that we have compassion on her by waiving tuition for her two kids until she is able to pay. Out of good heart, we helped her and did not charge her tuition on both boys. After many months, we asked if she is able to start paying tuition and that is where she started making up all the bad things about us to get away from paying tuition. We had to ask her to leave and that is where out of anger, she wrote the review. We are really surprised at Yelp standing on her side and keeping her review for so long. We will be pursuing legal actions on her and possibly Yelp to see what destruction this review is on our business.

Also, I wonder how you get a grip on Yelp if you want to pay for good advertising. It would be a sly idea to do that on the internets for people who are looking for a good deel.

But you really think Yelp will get rid of bad reviews and pay for good ones? I've never heard of that one. I use Yelp all the time and they help me. Do you have proof of the yelling?

Yelp.com Closed my account for no reason

I signed up for a Yelp Account (dean783 AT mail.com) My account was closed with no explanation of an email sent to me by Yelp.com I like the website and started to make friends on there but then suddenly my account gets closed for no reason.

Kam foo is using your site to rip people off. He tried to use someone else's
credit card but we caught him. We then found that he is a convicted felon
and now he is using Yelp and Sienna Entertainment to rip people off. I
created an individual site under my real name and when I post the info about
Sienna you guys keep taking it down like your trying to protect this
company. The only reason you would do something like that is if you are
getting paid under the table. The complaints that people keep posting are
about getting ripped off not that the service was not any good or they
weren't polite on the phone. It's about getting scammed and Yelp keeps
taking it down so others can be scammed!

1. 'm a little confused Kam you provided what you told us were
confirmation numbers that weren't real and the hotel had no record of you
ever booking rooms for the group, similar to other reviews on here not
within our group. I have an email from you stating you booked our rooms and
we were set go.

We have never received a refund from you and if you did and have
documentation on that of when and where it was sent to that would be great!
I would happily take down any negative comments or reviews or wouldn't have
posted at all had we received a refund.

But when we pay Sienna Entertainment not a 3rd party for a service and there
is an issue and you never respond to anyone to clear up or resolve the issue
that's just poor customer service.

I have all my documentation and facts.

2. Kam Foo and his assistant Shannon Obrien are crooks, thieves and
liars...I was just recently in Vegas and had a writen contract with them
that they would provide services and rooms at the SLS hotel and upon arrival
they had no record of my reservation...After 2 emails and several calls they
said they would take care of it and refund our money...they did nothing
except cut off communication...I am currently suing them...

These people are terrible and do not do business with them...they will steal
your money...

3. Scam Foo does not run a legitimate business. I booked a large
bachelor party through him with many bottle reservations and pool parties.
He suspiciously asked for money upfront which we reluctantly gave him. One
month leading up to the actual events he went off the grid. No responses
through text email or phone calls. I followed up with the places where he
claimed he booked us and none of them had heard of him or from him. This guy
runs a scam and tries to take your money and run. Thankfully I filed for
fraud via PayPal and got it all back. Super sketchy business and hope no one
has to go through what we did.

We never got into the pool party and they didn't get us in to the other club
or pool party the next day. We will never use them and we are now fighting
to get our money back.

Couldn't remember my password (I don't log in that often, mostly just read reviews), got emailed link for resetting my password, clicked thru back to yelp site. Logged in using new password, then came message "that email address is wrong"... ... ... Re-entered email address and new password, got a message, "this account has been closed."

Yelp.com Yelp is extorting business owners

I am personally documenting that Yelp has been removing every positive review within 24 hours after they started calling me weekly for money. They have removed 11 positive reviews so far. They even removed a 5 star review posted 10 hours prior and double listed my only negative review which happens to not even be by an actual client but by a disgruntled "elite" yelper and always stays up. They are manipulating the reviews and extorting business owners for monthly payments. I will be filing a formal complaint.

All of our positive reviews were removed. They were honest reviews from homeowners we worked for that found us by using yelp. We are a new business and couldn’t afford to pay for advertising at this time. As soon as we canceled our paid advertisement with yelp our reviews were removed. We planned on advertising again once we had the budget too but now we don’t trust Yelp and believe we are be targeted by them with our lively hood on the line we don’t know what we can do to defend ourselves against bullies like Yelp

This company, YELP, forces a business to pay for a year of service to remove incorrect information from all their partnered sites. - That's EXTORTION, pure and simple, because the links to fix it go to them, instead of the actual site the incorrect info shows on. - And YELP doesn't give you control to change the info unless you pay them - They have three links on their partnered sites, for creating, changing, and claiming a website listing. - If you don't PAY for a years worth of their "service" you are NOT allowed to change or remove any of the incorrect info. - I never put anything on any of the sites they partner with, but my incorrect business phone number showed, and I can't remove it, and YELP says they can't either, unless I buy an account, instead of just asking their "partner site" to remove it free - Their partner, YellowMoxie . com doesn't want to remove it either, when I asked them. I have an abuse complaint pending, with their ISP providers. ... I'll next go to the FCC, ... The BBB . org site rates YELP "C minus"... Not surprising.! ... :-) ... This is a BAD company, and very unethical... So, it seems, YellowMoxie . com is too ... Stay away...! ... Maybe ALL the YELP partnered sites are as bad too, if they let this happen.

Here it is folks who ever has been screwed by YELP ... their hidden address is not so hidden anymore: Here is the address in SF: 706 Mission Street SF 94103 Names: ROB KROLIK or Laurence Wilson general counsel. They Also have the Cooley Goddard high power lawfirm and the company is not that big-they have to becuase of the massive complaints against the CO. People are fighting back. Yelp has posted a complaint at the very top of my page. The complaint is clearly in violation of 4 of the 6 compliance requirements yet they refuse to remove it. They did remove it one time, then when I declined to advertise they put it back.

Yelp has ruined my reputation as a small business owner, disgruntle employees use Yelp as a tool to get back at you for there bad behavior as an employee and you cannot defend yourself. When you open a business you have to have great credit, knowledge and experience, great marketing and salesmen ship, courage and drive. We put up our homes and sacrifice so much to be a part of the community Yelp comes in and with out a fair trial let's "employees" your "competition " or guests (very few) that may have a something to say Slade you, how is this fair? Yelp is hurting the economy as a whole, Yelp is hurting owners of businesses, Yelp is hurting families for what? it's okay to ruin someones life? loose everything you own? go bankrupt? this needs to stop! NOW..you can tell they are employees, the labor board that is there for employees rights is not being used, at lest the labor board set's up a meeting and works this out..YELP is dangerous and I will be filing a suit today.

I want to file a law suit I have been in a modern day witch hunt, I have 2 employees that were fired due to theft caught red handed, in return they are spreading lies on top of lies complete slander! and it's not stopping, I closed my Bistro do to the landlords death! and his foreclosures it was forced on me, in return these idiots are still slandering me, they have no idea we are not in business any longer but they are still at it. They remove my great reviews and put up there crap! and then Yelp calls and wants me to advertise with them. So I am hearing everyone complain but what can we do about it. I have experienced the same issues that everyone else has. Has anyone contacted a lawyer or consumer affairs in your state and asked what can be done? I would really like to see if a class action lawsuit could be filed representing all the business that have been harmed by Yelp but do not know if there may already be one or someone is working on it. I will tell you that there would be 100's if not 1000's of businesses that would join us.

Same story here. We were in positive standing until the phone call i received from Nate at yelp. I told them we were not interested at this time. Ever since then, all negative reviews (questionable) stuck and most of the positive reviews were "filtered". One of the negative reviews names the owner as Pete and complains about the installation. We don't have any Pete's, and we don't install. We are strictly retailers! As soon as i have some funds set aside, i plan to file a suit against them.

I have a small business in great standing for 15 years that is currently experiencing Yelp's questionable business practices. At this point, they have removed perfectly great reviews from former clients and introduced a 10 month old negative post, no doubt, posted by a prospect that could not be pleased regardless. Of course, like so many others, it appeared only after I did not respond to their phone solicitation. Okay, lets just pretend I do not have this great business that I claim to have, why is this negative review (10 months old) just being introduced to our account of 2 months new and in conjuction with Yelp phone solicitations. All I can say, if it smells fishy..it is fishy! The truth always comes out and no one is above it.

Yelp.com Rip off

They kept calling my business over and over again to advertize my shop on there web site I had bad experience in past so I kept telling them no and then finaly I gave in and said I will not do long term contract but willing to try for three months only. They said fine we will charge you $350.00 per month if you like then we can do one year contract I said fair enough. After first month I knew it is not going to work and called them they said you singed for three month we have to go by contract I said fine under helpness and do not renew after come 4th month charge my cradit card again I called on 4th of nevember they said request in writing why did you not tell me last month when I told you to cancel and my manager Earl asked you the same question they reply you said you want to continew.

Thank you for sharing your bad experience. This business practices EXTORTION! I am filing a suit against them. They will spend a lot of mone. Flying their lawyers to N Texas to answer my defamation and Extortion small claims lawsuit. If we all do it, they will be spending more money defending their bad practices than they can shake down out of businesses to " remove" the malicious reviews for payment! Yelp.com Online scam

This site is for 'consumers' to rate business, like ripoff, but its more misleading. Thing is, when consumers report bad services *like being ripped off* most reviews *like mine which were mostly negative towards bad businesses cheating me out of money* were deleted b/c business owners got mad. Oh boo hoo.

Its annoying that only good reviews were allowed to stay and negative ones were deleted, when mine didn't violated the terms of use. A site for consumers to share their experience, positive a/o negative, are not given the full portunity to report bad service, since they'll be deleted right away.

Most are good and bad reviews but mine, which are about bad ripoff insurance agencies and banks were deleted b/c the YELP community felt it needed to be taken down. Plus business owners threw a wittle tantrum b/c I was giving them a bad name for their already bad service. Oh poor babies.

I find this yelp.com site completely misleading and favors bad businesses. If the consumers cant warn people about terrible businesses, which would help unknowing consumers of the trials and tribulations that they would mostly encounter, why even bother having the site at all. This site IS a RIP OFF!

do not get any plumbing work done by this company in Lebanon Tn. My experience was bad prices went up and did not do the work, and very unprofessional, so in my opinion bad business practices, also was impatient, and raised his voice to me. from now on stick with Hiller Plumbing. 10/06/2022

If I could rate this service a "0", I would. They are con artists. I was conned into purchasing a page when I already had a free one. Now they have threatened to turn me over to a collection agency, TrueAccord, to collectc for a contract I never signed. It looks as if I may have to hire an attorney to get this matter resolved.

All i want to do is read a comment but cant do that , get diverted to get a app. Hate this and will never look at another yelp page again . Big pain in the but , not getting a app for everything i do on the web …

Worst service ever received. Only picked up half of my furniture. The driver was rude angry man. His name was Gerald Carter. He had an attitude like we owed him something. Never came back to pick up the remaining furniture.

My company cell phone [protected] is listed on Yelp for Express Towing in Belmont. I have had this number for at least 3 years and get an average of 1-2 calls everyday from folks trying to get Express Towing.

PLEASE CORRECT THIS!

Ok, apparently my complaint is too short...

Used yelp a very long, today discovered not fair. Kept continuously making me verify myself until had to give up without posting. Hid another of my reviews citing "not important." The only purpose I see is to control ratings. I have relied on & attributed to yelp for a very long time. Feeling like a fool now. Yelp won't let you rate them. Weird.

Yelp is about advertising for their businesses, if you unsubscribe to spam, they kill you off. My recommendation, avoid Yelp. I was even threatened with retaliatory actions by Yelp and employees against my business.
